Finally called and spoke with Anthony (owner) on Tuesday 11/19/20 and arranged for him to pick my mower up which he said would be late Wednesday afternoon (11/20/19). Wednesday came and went an he never showed up. Call first thing Thursday morning to find out why he never showed up and had to leave a message and he never called me back. I don't understand how a business can treat customers that way and stay in business. It's like they just don't give a damn any more if they earn your business or not even though the the website says he provides the highest level of customer service. I call BS on that because I received the lowest level of customer service, NONE! I would never recommend this business to any one. UPDATE: 12/05/2019 Got my repaired mower back today. The man that repaired it says the reason it failed was Minton's Small Engine put the wrong starter on it. They used a starter with a nylon gear to engage a fly wheel with a steel ring set. The starter they put on my mower was for a fly wheel with an aluminum ring set. This caused the nylon gear on the starter to fuse into the fly wheel causing the starter bind up, overheat and fail. He said he was surprised it lasted as long as it did because it usually only takes 2-3 times of starting a mower with the wrong starter gear on it before it fails. SMFH!! $230 waisted and I had to pay to fix Minton's mistake. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Consumer Review / Formal Statement…read more My name is Rommie Huffman. David Johnson bid on and was awarded a project tied to my VA Home Loan. After the installation, he represented himself as the service provider for the full length of the warranty and even listed himself as the contact for any future issues. Despite this, when I reached out for service, he refused to honor his obligation. For weeks he misled me--telling me he was coming, telling me not to hire another provider--yet never showed up. He also refused to provide contact numbers for any licensed providers who could service the unit. This left me with no safe option for warranty or repair. The manufacturer requires that the unit be properly installed and serviced only by trained providers; if not, the warranty is void. That means any error in his installation or failure to service exposes me to total loss. Mr. Johnson was even given the opportunity to comply with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint system, and he refused. This shows he had more than enough time and chances to make it right, but he chose not to. His refusal went beyond neglect--it directly contributed to the worsening of my situation. During the peak of summer humidity, when the system should have been protecting my home, his failure to service left me dealing with mold growth. This is unacceptable, especially given that this project is directly tied to my VA Home Loan. The matter is not closed, and I will continue pursuing accountability. I am a disabled veteran with both physical and psychiatric disabilities. My physical conditions prevent me from going into my crawl space. My mother is also disabled and lives with me. She is extremely allergic to moms and this is the reason the previous owners assisted in payment of this being completed. Mr. Johnson's conduct is not just poor business--it has real consequences for our health, our home, and our rights. He will be held accountable for any and all violations of his obligations.

We've done business with Wayne Gravely in the past and never had an issue until now. My husband took his Cub Cadet mower in for repair. They told him it might take about a month to get to it, but they expected it would be sooner. Over three months went by with no update. During that time, my husband called and even stopped by four different times, and every time they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. On the last visit, they admitted they had actually lost it in the back and couldn't read the notes from when he dropped it off because the writing had faded. When they finally called, they said it was ready -- and the bill was $992. Almost a thousand dollars, with no phone call for approval before doing the work. Any reputable repair shop calls first to confirm the cost, especially when it's that high. For that price, we could have bought a good used mower. We're extremely disappointed in Wayne Gravely in Lenoir and won't be returning.

Only the bait stations were installed. We brought this to our techs attention he said if we wanted to buy snap traps on our own that's fine he wasn't putting them down because they don't work for this type of rodent (rats). We went 4 weeks w bait stations and had a little less activity. We contacted the office asking for a contact to discuss why we were told they would use both bait and snaps and now the tech refuses to put snap traps down. We waited 8 days with no contact. We paid a total of 350 dollars to the company and had to buy our own snap traps. We out them down and in a week we are almost no activity at all. Was very impressed at the initial visit but every visit after left us confused as to whether our tech had even read our contract. They were always responsive when they want to schedule a paid visit not so much in between. In fact NOT AT ALL in between. Very disappointed as when we spoke to the 2 gentlemen at the initial appointment before signing contract we were very hopeful we would be giving a 5 star review as they talked really well and seemed knowledgeable. That was the extent of that. Our tech Robert wasn't very friendly and blatantly refused to out snap traps down after he rescheduled his visit b/c it was raining and he didn't want to get his tires and truck dirty even tho I had taken a half day at work to make this appointment possible as weekends weren't an option.. unless it meant the truck would get dirty.

During the day, Gary is giving customers his undivided attention. Gary checked out my leaking washing machine and said it was a sturdy washer. He said that it would last longer if I limit to fill the basin 3/4 of a load. He left it up to me whether to replace or not at this time. My dishwasher was making a high-pitch squealing sound. Gary looked over the unit and saw that, in addition to the bad bearing, the seals inside the dishwasher were leaking and the floor underneath was wet with water. I could not see the floor because of the panel. I am grateful to Gary that he was able to give me the facts (not a sales pitch) and let me make the decisions. I appreciate that he was thorough, knowledgeable and gave me options. I would definitely use Gary again!
