I was not impressed with Tina at this location. She was rude. It was an inconvenience for me to be there to purchase anything because she was by herself working on a display. To add insult to injury, I had to use a digital coupon on my smartphone and it annoyed her that I didn't zoom in enough. With a specialty retailer you think you would have the right people working to represent your brand. I would look at your staff and ask yourself "Is this the right fit for them? Do they represent our brand the way we want it represented?"

The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, kind and compassionate, and truly an ally to anyone who shops in her store, regardless of belief systems or lifestyle. She is principled and operates from a place of acceptance and love, and speaks out against bullying and hate. You can feel all of this from the vibes in the store and the items she carries. She is a light in an area where there are few resources for folks who are different, and Sandalwood is a safe space and a welcoming one.
