This place is GREAT. I found what I thought were rat droppings today and sent requests for an inspection using Yelps project feature. Bug Baron reached out and was able to accommodate a same day viewing within the hour!!!! We were messaging at 2 PM and I mentioned I only had availability till 3 PM for the inspection that same day and they made it work!! They arrived at 2:30 and by 2:38 pm they were finished inspecting. Bug Baron is a solid exterminator! I was referred to them by a friend who currently uses Bug Baron - so I reached out to initiate my first service. I should say a very much needed first service since the previous owner did not have pest control. The service included interior, and exterior spray - along with attic fogging. I also requested bait for rodents which was setup (simply because we don't want that to ever be an issue) as we're nearby mountains. Simon (the owner and main exterminator) is great - would recommend the Bug Baron to anybody. We discovered we had some kind of vermin scuttering about the attic. At first we were in denial - finally, we started calling exterminators. We got a number of estimates: Simon's was about the same as one other outfit, and lower than others, but he himself was friendlier and clearer about the situation than the other folks who visited. In the end, Simon adopted a strategy of sealing all possible entries from the outside, and trapping on the inside. Thankfully, it seems like we caught the sole rat resident within the first couple of weeks -- it's now been over a month, and I'm happy to say that, so far, no more unwanted house guests. read more

After performing services of internal and external spray, the spider problem was better but ant problem was still happening. Was told to not use any raid bug spray, an important warning that was not relayed in the beginning. If we were able to know right after servicing, it would have been simple to follow that direction. I called Bug Baron because we somewhat recently moved in to a new home and we're told by our inspector that there was possibly pest activity in our attic. I was set up with a next day appointment and even better-it was free of charge to just come out and take a look! Simon arrived on time and was friendly and professional. My neighbor had great luck with Simon and highly recommended him, so I scheduled an inspection after seeing termite dropping in various locations in our home. Simon came out the next day (on-time), listened to me describe what I was seeing, and followed me around the house to inspect everything. He was very thorough, always looking at what I had mentioned but also looking around each area for any additional sign of termites. He took his time, and did not rush me at all during the inspection. At the end of the inspection he thought about all he had discovered, then he kind of surprised me in his suggestions for treatment. Simon mentioned that due to smaller infestations I had in numerous parts of our house, as well as the unique construction of the house, that there was actually another pest control company (a competitor of his) that could address my unique situation a little better than he could. He even texted me the other companys contact info, and told me that if they could not help me out or if I was unhappy with them at all that he would come back and do his best to address my issues. It's extremely rare these days to find a business owner so honest that they would suggest going to one of their competitors to make the customer as happy as possible. And he did this without leaving me hanging, that he would come back to help me out if the other company didn't work out. On top of this, he didn't charge me anything for his time and travel for the inspection!
