This was a good company, maybe it still is, but when my wife and I both lost a parent a couple months ago I got nobody even trying to understand.
Because of the family issues, we missed calls about scheduling a quarterly spray. We simply could not deal with extra things for a few weeks. When we began with Buga Boo, we were told that they would not come out until they reached us to schedule. That is what I wanted so that we could try to schedule when we are home in order to do the interior as well.
Out of nowhere I got an email that we owe them money, and when I called to explain why we were unavailable and ask why we were billed, she said that's what they do.... Well, it isn't what they did in the beginning. They never came without scheduling. If it was policy to go to a home and spray without reaching the customer, then why did they leave us so many emails trying to schedule? For $147+ they have lost a long time customer. Not sure what changed, but but I'll go elsewhere.
Update:
I read your review, but had this contract for well over a year and nobody ever came out unless a time was scheduled. your argument relies on the "contract" but as I stated until recently nobody came out until it was scheduled. Something or someone there has changed. Now your one of those places that holds to something that was not an original practice of yours. Incidentally, you sound concerned about bugs becoming an issue if you don't get out each quarter, but your records surely show that you waited about two months before you came out to spray-unscheduled. (And you did not ever do unscheduled when I started with you.) So if you really wanted to abide by the contract and were really concerned about bugs, why do you wait two months, nearly the next quarter before you sprayed again? You're hoping to control the PR... bottom line is and I'm sorry to say you are not the same great company you used to be. Maybe you can spray for bugs, but many services can do that. When a customer expects that a service will be scheduled before it is performed, and it is not, that's not right (and you waited a LONG time to spray, so why wait to spray or call so many times if you're wanting to adhere to contract as you say, why not just spray....? Because you were trying to schedule like you know you should). You'll deny or say it has always been this way or whatever, but that will not be true. I guess according to your rules we should have stopped in the midst of a funeral to answer a Bug-a-Boo call, or they will come out unannounced and send you a bill. read more
