Though microscopic in size and big in price, it was probably the tastiest ice cream sandwich I've ever had.

Although they didn't have the vanilla peanut butter I'd been craving, the leap to the symphony of flavors in their Cape Abilities bar was a step beyond!

The first time was a Sunday night in May and the line was literally out of the door! And I quickly understood why. Their ice cream is soooo good. Like seriously AMAZING. And even better? The bang for your buck! This is some of the most price favorable and high quality ice cream I've ever tried. Their XXL, which is 6 scoops and huge, is $8.90. I am shocked! Staff is also super nice and explained all of the flavors we had questions about to us. I tried their chocolate, strawberry, raspberry chocolate chip, s'mores, and phantom berry ice cream. All were amazing. My favorites were definitely the chocolate, s'mores, and phantom berry ice creams. All amazing options, I would seriously recommend this place!

Also be sure to bring cash, or use the ATM inside. I love the flavor selection and the amount of different areas you can order from. Service was very fast even with a line! The school house interior was super cute, but I really enjoyed the outdoor seating areas! Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your ice cream! The coffee khalua brownie is something I'd definitely come back for!

I also love that there's both a full dining room and a separate bar area, so whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down with family, it fits the occasion. It's a popular spot, and you'll usually see plenty of families and larger groups enjoying a meal. The menu is full of fresh seafood and New England favorites. The clam chowder is a great way to start, and I always order the hot lobster roll. Great food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere.

We started on the bar side, which was extremely busy and we couldn't find a seat for about 30 minutes. The only downside is that seating is first come, first serve, so you end up hovering around tables waiting for people to leave, which wasn't ideal. We eventually got frustrated and went next door. Even though they're separate, the bar and restaurant are connected, so you can easily walk between the two. We ended up having an amazing meal at the restaurant side, so it was definitely worth switching over. I highly recommend the lobster roll. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of the experience on the bar side.

They demeaned and accused my son of crushing candies, when he picked up a baggie of Lego candies, and was checking if the pieces align. The older blonde woman that works there, yelled at him not to crush the candy, he replied that he was not crushing anything, just looking at the pieces. To which the woman yelled out that he was lying and she saw him. My older teen and her boyfriend, who were in charge of babysitting, came back to tell me of the incident. As I went to the store to figure out what happened, as the girls at the front were lazily sitting there without acknowledging any customers, I told them that they had accused my 9 year old son (who btw is probably one of the calmest kids I know, who just happens to love Legos and science, hence the curiosity for the Lego candy) of crushing candy. They denied knowledge of the incident and called the older woman to the front, who just started being rude, confrontational, snd paranoid as of what we were doing with our phones. Since I took some pictures prior, as I travel around the world and have a social media platform that posts about travel. She yelled for us to leave if we didn't like it, and then to just leave the store when I told her she was rude. How can an unhinged person like that run a candy store who mainly caters to children, yet seems to hate them??? As we were leaving, she just went out the store and was still yelling something, paranoid we recorded her. P.S.: This is not only a Candy Store, it's an OVERPRICED, STALE Candy, Cash only, RUDE, and unhinged Candy extravaganza store. Chatham could do so much better than this junk.
