Expansive Billiard Hall with plenty of parking, reasonable rates, great Music selection, food, drinks and roomy! Monday nights are free billiards. We played for 4 hours straight and never got bored. There are plenty of folks to challenge. Everyone we met there was friendly. The tables are well maintained. Plenty of pool cues, chalk, and powder to prep yourself for the game. I first would like to say that this place is not for people of "color". They have NO RESPECT FOR THEM. The service was less than cordial. My issues were, not friendly, poor service when ordering food. I was told after inquiring about food items " look at the menu, can you read what it says?". When food was brought to our section, it was put on table WITHOUT even asking if I was the one that ordered it. My non-colored friend even noticed the discriminatory treatment!! The air quality is very bad. The smoke was so thick and there were people walking past you blowing smoke right in front of you. So obnoxious. Food was terrible. They never brought the ranch sauce, not that it would help. The shrimp tasted like it had spoiled, very bad. The chicken was tough and overcooked. Will NOT be going back. read more

My brother and I were in town for a family wedding and we decided to sneak off to Buffalo Billiards for a few hours to chill out. First, I think the Buffalo's is at new location. The location should be 5029 Bloomfield St., New Orleans, LA. Anyways, as enthusiast pool players, we always enjoy a nice room with good tables. The pool room has both 9' Diamond Professional and Pro-Am tables and 7' Diamond Pro-Am tables. The tables rolls just fine. Just be careful of some of the 9 footers in the back as they have some super tight pockets. We ended up playing a regular pocket sized 9' Diamond Pro-Am and had a great time. Everything rolled correctly. No complaints here! For about 90 minutes, I think our total cost was a little less than $13. What a deal! Especially on a Friday night. I don't drink, but my brother does and he was super excited that the beer was priced very well. If you are a pool player that enjoys a nice room and consistent equipment, this is the place to be. We played pool here a few days ago during my road trip in New Orleans. It took us a minute to find this place since GPS didn't recognize the exact location. Once we found the place, it looked like they were in the process of remodeling it. They had a lot of tables, Diamond tables. We were there on Tuesday and it was free play...great timing. The atmosphere there was good and it was a very large pool hall. The smoke from cigarettes still lingered around. You couldn't stay too long to play if you're a non-smoker. Last night I went and the first thing the girl said when I walked in was we don't have any tables with an attitude before I even got a word out. Turned around and walked right back out. Great pool hall! No nonsense, pay by the hour, good felt, drinks available day or night and open all night. Felt is good, ball sets are in good shape and the house cues are nice as well. Park in the back, much easier. Bar tender is always friendly and quick and drinks are cold. Just a good place to shoot. read more

Basic pool hall. Nothing fancy, just a place to play pool and hang with friends. It's open 24 hours and there are always cars outside and people inside, no latter the time of the day. Surprisingly, the coffee is not bad at 5 in the morning. There's 9 pool tables and a Golden Tee video machine to keep you occupied. Plus the ever present video poker machines. Super chill dive bar! It's a great place to drink and shoot some pool with friends! The owner, buffalo, is always here and welcoming to everyone! The bartenders are very nice and prompt when you need something. The drinks are priced well, especially considering other places around.
