Martine's is a fun little cocktail dive bar in Old Metairie…read more Products: Duh-ranks, yo! They have a pretty good wine and beer selection, but they shine on their signature cocktails, of which there are so many that I could not reasonably list here, some of which rotate out regularly to keep variety up. Everything, and I mean *everything*, is reasonably priced, if not outright cheap. (5 stars) Service: Usually just a single bartender, except during shift changes, but the place is small enough, that is more than enough. All the 'tenders are friendly and efficient. (5 stars) Facilities: Martine's is located in a strip mall along Metairie Road. It's easily accessible from the Bonnebel exit off I-10. Signage is ample, but you have to be familiar with the turns along the street to be prepared to find it. There is some parking out front, and, as one goes to bars mainly at night, there isn't any competition for space then. There is a pool table, video poker, and what looks to be a non-functioning/unplugged pinball machine (never asked about it). The inside is smallish, and can probably hold about 50 people seated, including tables and bar stools. There is also outside seating available. It's clean, but, for whatever reason, the cigarette smoke lingers in the place. The management is aware and tries to work with customers on this angle. The decor is appropriate, with a saloon feel to it. (4 stars) Bonus 1: free pizza weeknights Bonus 2: free wings on Wednesday with Trivia Overall: The only things I dislike about this place are that it isn't walking distance from my place and the heavy cigarette smoke that makes my eyes burn. Check it out, especially if you like trivia (4 stars)

One thing I really appreciated is that they don't let this place become overcrowded…read more When they reach capacity, they simply stop admitting people, have you register, and text or call when space opens up. It keeps the atmosphere enjoyable instead of chaotic. The food is surprisingly good too. I'm a sucker for club lounges with quality snacks, and this one is a pretty good one.

The bathrooms are also very well maintained. The biggest downside is the food. The selection is usually very limited, and the quality is nothing special. Customer service is also inconsistent. During my visit this morning, the staff didn't greet or acknowledge customers, which made the lounge feel less welcoming. Overall, it's a good place to sit, relax, and recharge in a clean environment, but the food and customer service could definitely be improved.

Probably the worst chicken Shawarma wrap/sandwich I have ever had. And I have had a lot. I swear…read morethe people who made this have never seen or eaten shawarma in their life. The wrap basically looked and tasted like someone opened a cream of chicken can of soup into a wrap. It had zero seasoning, nothing at all. It said it came with pickles, it only has some limp green stalks in it, looks like green beans or celery. Who would put this into a wrap and call it shawarma? The rest of the order was missing stuff, like instead of a salad was basically some veggies(bell peppers, cucumbers) minus anything that makes a salad a salad. Not like a Greek salad, or cucumber/ tomato salad. It was supposed to be an actual salad but had mostly bell peppers, one leaf of lettuce. The hummus was real liquidy. And we were missing tzatziki sauce that was supposed to come. Won't ever be back at this establishment again. Only good thing about this order was the fries. I would love to get a refund but I got it for delivery.
