I recently visited Buffalo Wild Wings and ordered the 10-count bone-in wings. I chose to split the flavors between Thai curry and Old Bay. Unfortunately, the wings were fried a bit too hard for my liking, which made them overly crispy. The Old Bay wings, in particular, were extremely salty--so much so that I couldn't even finish them. On the brighter side, the Thai curry wings were tasty and had a nice, flavorful kick. The standout of the night was definitely the drink called the Buffalo Zoo. Although it's no longer on the regular menu, they were still able to make it, and it did not disappoint. It was sweet, strong, and reminded me of a good rum punch--definitely worth ordering if you're into bold cocktails. What truly made the experience memorable was the excellent service from the bartender, Michelle (I hope I'm spelling that correctly). Her energy and attentiveness were top-tier. Even though the food wasn't quite what I hoped for, Michelle's service more than made up for it. Honestly, I'd come back just to sit at the bar, enjoy another Buffalo Zoo, and experience her exceptional hospitality again. Lastly, I really appreciated that they had all the March Madness games playing at once--it was the perfect setup for sports fans. Plenty of screens and great visibility from any seat in the house. On January 20th I was in the mood for a good hamburger because I haven't had one in a while. I ordered through the BWW's app and picked up my food from the Waldorf location. Great smooth process. But let me tell you...I had no idea BWW made good burgers because I only order wings and drinks. This all American cheeseburger with the addition of bacon was a delightful symphony of flavors, with the smoky richness of bacon complementing the savory beef patty and the creamy goodness of melted cheese. The combination creates a satisfying and indulgent culinary experience that I found irresistible. Dry rub wings were the worsted I've witnessed with the dry rub on the plate instead of the wings and completely overcooked. The fries that I ordered were less than a kids meal!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Tonight was the second strike I won't patron this location again . The first strike was a random Sunday a few months ago. We wanted wings so I tried to place and order the location was closed. No explanation just closed. I thought it odd that an entire place of business would need to close for the entire day. But I dismissed it. Tonight we wanted wings, admittedly we patron a BBW competitor frequently. But I said let's give BBW a try. Mistake. The food was awful. I can't think of one good thing. Hubby came in one Thursday and asked what was a favorite, after being directed to try to Street Tacos he has been a regular patron. Today I came with him, I immediately see why he is drawn to these tacos. They have the feel of a taco food truck, great flavor! A little spicy for me but I still enjoyed. Another waitress suggested adding steak. So we ordered another trio but added shredded steak as well. I can see what she was doing, we put the steak on top but I'm sure if it was actually drizzled in the sauce it would've popped even more! It was quiet as we went midday. If I could give this place a zero rating, I would do so in a heartbeat. I went into the restaurant to place an order, due to the online ordering not processing orders. Once inside, I placed my order and only wish I was more important than Sunday night's football game. Apparently they encourage you to use the app, yet, the prices do not reflect the app if you go inside to place an order. Who does this??? Making matters even worse, my wings was cold after waiting thirty minutes. SMH!! And this is the kicker, who gives an order full of drums. On January 21st, I placed a carryout order for 30 Jerk Wings and paid a total of $42.50 in addition to a $5.00 tip. I showed the clerk a text message from my son. He requested 20 wings, not cooked hard with extra blue cheese and extra carrots. His additional text message requested extra jerk sauce. I chose to up the quantity to 30 wings. I received 30 jerk wings that were very dry and hard. 1 cup of extra jerk sauce that was approximately 2 inches in diameter. The carrots and blue cheese dressing was the only items that were to our satisfaction. Very slow and unprofessional ! I came in to order BOGO free wings for Tuesday, which they changed to BOGO 50% off unless you dine in. I decide to dine in as I would have to wait for the food to be prepared anyway. I ate a few fries and then placed a Boneless wing order to go for my daughter... The 6 piece boneless wing and fry takes another 35 mins to come out ! Not just cold but old, the friends that came out with the 6 piece boneless were older colder than the fries that came out with the first order. I go back in the restaurant and the manager(taller old looking but probably isn't old blonde lady) immediately gives me attitude. As I begin to tell her the food was cold she says "that's because you were just sitting over there, don't take long to get cold". I explained that I ordered my daughters food to go just before getting the bill. She snidely replies again "it doesn't take long for food to get cold" . Kind of if they were mad I dined in to take advantage of the deal and had been talking about it in the kitchen and gave me old fries on purpose... Not the first time I've gotten cold food from this location, but normally it's a mobile to go order and I may take too long to get there and they are generally so friendly I don't even bother to say anything.. Today, feeling like they may have done it spitefully, & the fact the manager was so nasty is APPALLING & I am LIVID about it ! I love BWW but I will NEVER patronize this location again and I certainly WOULD NOT recommend this location. My husband and I stopped in for Veteran's Day. Typical BWW set up. Looked clean, but the floors were a bit sticky. We were able to seat in the bar area immediately. Our waitress arrived quickly. I asked about the Veteran's Day specials. She said "order of boneless wings & fries". I asked if traditional wings were included and she hesitated stated "they told us to push boneless, but you can get traditional". Guess they either don't sell a lot of boneless or it's cheaper for their bottom line. To drink, my husband had a Bloody Mary, as usual, and I had a Tito's Moscow Mule. I ordered a side of onion rings with my meal. When i arrived i was given my to go order and after checking my box I noticed they gave me fries instead of onion rings. I let them know of the error and they said they were out of onion rings. The issue is why did the system let me order food you don't have? Then why didn't anyone at the store tell me? If I didn't ck my box I would have not known until I got home. Since it was an up charge for the onion rings I requested a refund. I was told only the manager could help. I waited over 15mins. Then the manager said he couldn't refund because i ordered it online. If I ordered in the store then he could refund it. At this point my food has been sitting on the counter cold. I said if I can't get s refund then give me some food to replace , like a few chicken tenders. After some fuss He agreed to give me 2 tenders only! But I have to wait another 20mins to be made. By the time I leave i had been there almost an hour! The online process needs work. The in store process needs work. The manager needs work. This BWW is located next to St. Charles town center in Waldorf, Maryland. There are other plenty of restaurants within a 5 mile radius but my friend and I decided on here because we were close to it and familiar with the location. The service there was great. Our waiter, I think his name was Jordan, was very attentive. Also the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. It has televisions all around with various sporting events being shown so whatever sport tickles your fancy you won't be disappointed. Now the reason I gave it three stars is the food takes away one star. I know what I'm getting with a spot like this but the boneless wings and sauces were a little lackluster. Not saying the food was terrible but places like them wings should have a little more pizzazz to them. The loaded tater tots are great though and they give you a nice amount. Ive been here a few times because my kids love the wings. I usually do take out but this particular time we decided to sit down and eat. The place is noisy as all get out, but it is a sports bar so I guess it's expected. The service this time was slow. Our server ended up being someone who had the section on the other side of the restaurant. He apparently came to help the server in our section. The playoffs were on so one would think they would have been prepared for a larger crowd. The food came out at a decent time and our borrowed server was attentive enough. This BWW location was okay nothing spectacular. So when I walked in to this establishment the hostess was not standing at her post to greet the customers. My group waited about a good 8-9 minutes before she the hostess came and greeted us. There was another group ahead of mine so she sat them first and then came back to my group. She did apologize for the wait although someone should have been at her post if she needed to step away. Anyway when the server came (I didn't catch her name) she was sweet. I ordered two fireballs and she even made a suggestion. The fireball shots were really good and I also ordered boneless chicken with the Asian zing sauce. The food came out in a timely manner, was hot and tasted good. I must say my favorite was the chili queso dip that I do suggest as an appetizer. I love Buffalo Wild Wings but my experience was awful at this location. My husband got the naked chicken strips and I got boneless wings. They brought out my husbands food 10 minutes before mine! My husband waited until I got my food and by the time my food was out his was cold. I thought that since I had to wait a long time for my wings to get out that it would be hot, I thought wrong they were warm but more on the cold side. I don't care what any of the haters say, I love this BWW location. I have been here twice & not only was the food good, but the customer service was awesome! All of their staff have wonderful personalities and are super attentive. The tables are clean, booths spotless - heck yeah, you guys are alright in my book! :D We came here on the hunt to fulfill an intense fried pickle craving and must I say, it was a success! I loveeeee BWW's fried pickles & wangs. They are too good! Now there's nothing fancy to BWW, but it is a great place for delicious bar type food, amazing views to watch the game, or just to hang out & chat with friends. With that being said, the food isn't really what I came here to talk about, it's more so the amazing service we received from an awesome young lady named Kim. Let's get to it! She was so personable & attentive, it was refreshing. We were unsure of what flavors to choose for our wings so she brought out a couple fries & her favorite sauces to let us try. It was too much fun! Now that is customer service! Also, my man drinks their huckleberry lemonade as if he is dying of thirst so she was on top of it every time, & plus I like to sneak a few sips myself ha,ha, but when he was on his last sip, she was right there with another refill. :) She is a wonderful sales woman too. Heck, she even talked me into buying a bottle of sauce to take home; now that's talent! Ha, ha. She was so enthusiastic about working there and just had great vibes that radiated off of her!! Where do we begin? Let's start at the walk in, during a pandemic inside of a restaurant where you take your mask off - no one is socially distanced. I should have left then because that means that you guys aren't taking steps to make the place as safe as possible. But anyway, hungry, we sat down. After literally 15 mins of sitting at the table, a waiter comes over and tells us he's going to get to us "eventually" after he does X, Y, and Z with other tables. Okay cool. Another 10 minutes goes by and I see this guy revisiting tables before even asking us if we would like some water...... at this point I decide to get up and speak with a manager NOT RUDE, VERY polite and asked if we could be seated in a different area because it seemed the waiter we had was a bit overwhelmed with too many tables. The first manager brushed me off, so I asked for a different one. This one was totally nonchalant and very sarcastic with me. He asked me what did I want him to do? Because with a full restaurant he only had TWO waiters on staff until the next shift in 2 hours. As if this is MY ISSUE. I went back to my table and told my waiter thanks, but I'm not eating here anymore. He became upset and cursed at me. I promise I was very polite to them. No one even pretended to care or give good service. Not one apology, not one "i understand", nothing. All for FROZEN ASS FOOD. As I'm later learning that their wings, fries, and everything else is FROZEN. One of the managers told me he was the general manager that just so happened to be in store. But when I asked for the information I was provided a card with a totally different name. Did I mention after we sat down, we had to request a table wipe down.
