The food is amazing and has a wide variety of kids food. They have a good supply of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff are very kind, but management is not able to keep them for often. The kitchen is often understaffed which causes delays, sometimes even up to 45 minute delays. The atmosphere is very good, they have a bar and seating area. They have plenty of sports going all the time on the multiple screens. If it's not too busy, the staff are kind enough to change. So overall, it's a great place, but just be prepared for the wait sometimes. read more

In March my wife and I had the chicken pieces which they call boneless wings. Worst we've ever eaten in over 35 years. Hard, dry, small. The sauces were good though. read more

Places is absolutely horrible garbage service garbage food high prices normally enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings but up here for some reason Traverse City just can't seem to get their shit together waited over an hour to get appetizers not even our entrées and when it was brought out, it was cold, which is telling me it's been done sitting in a heat lamp and nobody ran us the food out horrible service horrible food I will never in my life come back to that location read more

Went on a game night here in Traverse MI lots of people but they said it's a 40 min wait manager said they couldn't seat me even though there were 7 tables open. She said there too busy not enough servers. All I asked was to sit at a table and I would wait to order, but she wasn't letting anyone sit. After a long wait I got a seat at the bar for warm wings and a little over cooked . Typical for this place been like that for years that's why we don't go any more but only place playing the game. Bad service. read more

Took a long time to get seated (and lots of workers walked by ignoring the growing line) but once we were seated, the food came pretty quick but was sub par. The Mac& cheese burger was decent- it had a small amount of Mac on it though Bathrooms were messy. read more

5-Star Experience Thanks to Carter! I just have to give a huge shoutout to Carter at Buffalo Wild Wings last night -- this young man was amazing! From the moment we sat down, his energy, attentiveness, and professionalism stood out. As someone who used to work at BWW, I know how tough the job can be, and let me tell you -- Carter went above and beyond. His attention to detail was spot on, he didn't miss a beat with our order, and his positive personality truly made the experience fun and memorable. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving great service. It's rare to come across someone so young with such strong work ethic and natural customer service skills. I was honestly so impressed -- Buffalo Wild Wings, you've got a rock star on your team! Keep up the awesome work, Carter! You're going to go far. read more

Great friendly Server who patiently waited on my family with small kids. Good choice and f chips and cheese dips, salsa, guacamole & cheese. Wings were good, burgers n fries hit the spot. Just wish some Michigan games were on. I will definitely be back again. read more

I came in for my free 6 wings for my birthday along with ordering a lot of other food and they refused giving me cauliflower wings since I don't eat meat. I even politely spoke with the manager and he said no. We eat here all the time and won't be anymore. I hope the massive cost of cauliflower was worth all the money that we would've spent. read more

It's a BWW, it is what it is, but frankly for some ok wings and beer or if you want to watch a game, this place is popular for a reason. Also if you like spicy food this is one of the only places in N MI that can bring some fire read more

Came here for a birthday dinner, we had a pretty large table at 12 people however we called and warned them ahead of time. they told us they didn't take any reservations but appreciated the heads up. when we got here they said they had a shift change and knew nothing about our table. the manager was very accommodating and got us a table very fast. we waited 30 minutes until we finally got up and asked the manager for someone to come take care of us. they then came over to take our orders and told us we weren't in anyones 'jurisdiction'. we tried to order our food and drinks at once to hopefully help speed the process up but they wouldn't let us. when our food was finally ready they sat our food down and left. never came and checked on us, never refilled drinks, didn't even have enough silverware and we were missing sauces for our wings and ALSO the vegetables that come with our wings. not to mention our food was obviously cold and had been sitting out for awhile. read more

We stopped here for a quick lunch before going to Great Wolf. We were seated right away and noticed the restaurant didn't look particularly full at all. Ordered two 10-piece boneless wings w/fries, and a salad - waited almost 40 minutes. My wings came out ice cold, wrong sauce, and 3 of them that were the smallest nuggets I've ever seen yet were counted as part of my order. I complained to the waitress and she said she'd get me a replacement order and went to correct the issue - the replacement wings came out quick, accurate, and tasted good - no complaints there. That's how they should have came out. The bill finally came and good thing I double checked because they charged me for the replacement wings. Would have ended up paying double than what I should have if I didn't spot their error. I was warned about this location before going and they seemed to be right. read more

I frequently go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch various sports games. The quality of service and food is excellent and a fun place to hang out with friends. Lacie, one of the managers, is always so helpful to put on whatever game is available to be viewed and checks back with you on quality of service and food. Very upbeat and friendly. The staff that work behind the bar are also extremely helpful, efficient and prompt in providing service to everyone. I have invited many friends to join me and they too were happy with their experience. I would highly recommend this place to enjoy a sports game and some good eats! read more

Well I chose to give them a chance regardless of all the bad reviews. Tho because of the bad reviews I chose to order take out. I did see bad reviews for customers that ordered take out as well but my food was perfectly hot. Food was great. The only reason why they didn't get a 5 was because they had forgot to put celery and blue cheese in the bag and they didn't put no napkins in the bags either. But people make mistakes so I didn't crucify them for that. Maybe next time I will dine in. read more

Let me just start by saying: if Carter is your waiter, go ahead and turn right back around and save yourself the headache. We walked into Buffalo Wild Wings ready for wings and a good time, but instead we got a masterclass in how not to serve tables. Carter acted like he was doing us a favor by even showing up. Drinks took forever, our food came out like it had been sitting in a timeout, and when we asked for extra boxes, he looked at us like we'd asked for a kidney. read more

We ordered takeout tonight with some friends who were visiting from out of town. 4 adult meals and 3 kids meals. We found a WHOLE fingernail in our 16 month old son's macaroni and cheese. Disappointing experience. The service was slow, perhaps they were understaffed. But nobody wants to see the table next to them being served before you, especially when they arrive 15 minutes after you do. I think our problem was that our server was also a bartender, so she had her hands full. When I finally asked her to check on our meal, it was sitting there all along. My daughter said her Mac & cheese was undercooked. I liked my burger, but it was missing at least a couple of the condiments that were in the menu description. The highlight of the meal was the strawberry lemonade. That really says it all. read more

I have been to this location 100+ times. Favorite restaurant. first, the wings. They come in bone-in and boneless. There is a very wide range of sauce available, from bbq sauce that someone who hates spice would enjoy, to a literal challenge that many people fail to eat. The wing quality is the best i've ever seen. There are an assortment of burgers, that are all amazing. This is one of the only restaurants, that's bacon, I actually enjoy and is quality. The fries can come with a free dry ride. When they put the dry rub on, they don't just sprinkle it, they put half the bottle on them. The dry rubs that i have gotten, are the salt and vinegar, and the lemon pepper. Both are amazing. The restaurant is always very busy, which means wait time isn't great. But all the servers are very nice. If you go here, expect to be there for around an hour to an hour and a half if you half a party of 5. They have quality beers and other alcohol, and many sodas. Huge assortment of food, for even picky eaters. 10/10, would go again (many times). Definitely recommend. read more

No Queso- no chips- no one in there and the bartender didn't write down my order and of course no bleu cheese. I asked for it to go and had to ask for napkins and a fork. At least I caught that. I travel all over for work and this has to be the worst location I've visited to date. read more

Need to watch sports on 20 different tvs all at the same time? Need to eat wings? Need to be served by a pregnant waitress*? This is the spot for you! I have heard of this chain before but had never been in until recently when we stopped in for lunch. I don't eat chicken but there were several items on the menu I could have ordered. I ordered the Roasted Garlic Mushrooms (served with a southwest sauce) and the Fish Tacos (you pick your sauce from the chicken wing sauce options) and enjoyed both. If you are trying to avoid fried foods, don't come here, because everything was fried. I'm not sure I'd order the mushrooms again because they were a little too heavily fried for my taste. My fish tacos were good but I made a rookie mistake by selecting the 3rd hottest sauce they have, MANGO HABANERO. Here's how that happened: Waitress: Fish Tacos ok, and what kind of sauce do you want on the tacos? Me: oh, umm, let me look at the list (reads all of the hot sauce options) well, I guess the mango sauce would go well with fish tacos, so I'll do that. ++++++PRO TIP: The sauces are listed from top (mild) to bottom (Burning fire hot). Mango Habanero is third from the bottom. So basically I ordered one of the hottest sauces by accident. I like spicy stuff, so it worked out, but it definitely was intense, so don't mess around with the bottom sauces unless you came to party. * 70% of the waitstaff was pregnant. Great service on our visit. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings - Fish Tacos - Sports Bars Near Me - Traverse City, Michigan

we came to Buffalo wild wings with five kids on a Monday afternoon. The staffing is extremely low - one server per side. Our waitress was very good however, not enough time for the amount of people and food was good, however, not sure if there was only one cook because the time it took for the food was extremely slow and not acceptable. The place wasn't packed either. Again Our waitress was very good. she shouldn't have to take the brunt of bad management decisions by only having one server on each side. This is not a cheap place to eat, so management -- staff your facility appropriately . read more

Literally the worst experience I've ver had a a restaurant. Half empty restaurant and they still couldn't get their crappy fried food out in a reasonable amount of time. Imagine waiting over an hour for wings. The manager was argumentative about how long we waited. Then, he didn't have the gonads to come talk to us when our bills came. This is why bw3s sucks now. read more

Awesome food and great service all around, just wish they made homemade ranch for the wings instead of the cheap stuff. Most restaurants make thier own ranch like the hidden valley ranch packet style. Some ranch powder, mayo, and some milk. Then shake it up. Don't make me bring my own ranch next time lol read more

I ordered delivery on there website and I knew it was going threw doordash, they said it would be around 30 minutes until it was delivered considering the roads are bad but then I got a message from doordash saying my order was canceled! I spent 60 dollars plus the 15 dollar tip and then on top of that the delivering fee. I called the place to see if I was going to get my food and they told me the order didn't exist! at this point I was so angry I was going to cancel the order and get my money back. Then they called back and said the order just came threw to the kitchen. The food was cold and I was very disappointed. I don't recommend. read more

Not surprised to see the low rating for this place. Ordered about $100 in a take-out order. My daughter was up from school and went to pick it up. I will just say we have been here several times and always have issues. I forgot to tell her check the bag because they ALWAYS forget food. Anyway she gets back and they left out about $20 in fries. So of course we call and get told I will let manager know and they may call back. LOL. So I go online and post a review and get a response from Buffalo Wild Wings damage control who apologize and have the manager email me and was told I would receive a gift card a month ago. Just terrible. If in Traverse City try some local restaurants you will be much happier. read more

One I'll tell you the worst place to get wings I've had cold wings multiple times. Don't even get me started with takeout it tell me the food will be done at 8:40 and I show up promptly on time. Then wait an extra 15 min to get my already done food makes no sense. read more

Best BWW experience I've had. 2nd time here and I was anti BWW but kudos to Mitch @ the Traverse City location.

Admittedly, I'm a wimp when it come to spicy food. But I love wings and tenders too! We usually stop at a famous dave's when we feel the need. But the sauces at buffalo wild wings are enough to burn out my taste buds for a week! Being a wimp, i ordered the honey bbq dipping sauce. It was spicy, so much so that my hot sauce loving wife even thought so too! I think we will stick to famous Daves!! Also some confusion with the bill, regarding an extra $2 charge added into the price of an entre. The server fixed the bill, but i really hate to have to watch my bill that closely since i believe everyone is basically honest and do their jobs correctly. I must be just an old fool. PS, the waitress fixed the bill with no apology what so ever. They lose! read more

The Chili was EXCELLENT! The Wings were good but too much pepper, really hot. The server said, I know you didn't order fries but put them on. Eat or not he said. Those were peppered also...all under them. Anyways, bill came I was charged!! Did talk to server & she fixed the bill. The Ambience wasn't there...felt ignored & it wasn't busy!! Everytime i get something to eat here my order is wrong. This is literally the 4th time in a row.

Horrible experience Offered us drinks that weren't on the menu Then told us drinks to order that ended up not being part of happy hour (apparently 'all mixed drinks' doesn't include the drinks we ordered) On top of that I was given the wrong sauce on my wings and refused an exchange Beyond frustrated and never going back. read more
