Had a dine in service and it took forever to get our orders taken. Had to get up and ask the hostess for our order to be taken as all the servers ignored us. We then got a server who clarified there was a miscommunication, but since that wasn't communicated that by any other server walking past us that made eye contact with us, not a great feeling. Food is good. I got the wrong salad but I wasn't gonna complain after having waited so long while hungry. Food is fine, service kinda stunk. Whatever you do keep your receipts and check your bank account. They reprinted the merchant copy and changed the tip on both my husbands's receipt and our friend's receipt. Luckily our friend's bank notified him with the 30% tip. I walked here from a great distance. No one was standing at the front to greet or direct me. I go down to order pick up that was hidden down in a corner and I grab my food. When I took a bite of the burger, I felt like I was having Mc Donald's, the patties were flimsy and dry. I at least ate some of the fries and tater tots, which was a bit bland, it needed salt and pepper. It would have been nice if they packed ketchup. I wasn't happy with the service. My family and our small well behaved dog had been at stamford bww on summer street a few times. Last time we went we were told that there were no pets allowed! There are no signs at all and we felt discriminated. Never going back there again. Previous times service was slow but we put up we it because we were able to be there with our dog. I came into Buffalo Wild Wings located in downtown Stamford. I came in with a friend. We did pick up. She treated me for Fathers Day and we ordered 60 wings, mixed veggies and fries online. They told me they would be ready in 45 minutes and got there at 50 minutes and they weren't ready. We ended up waiting an extra 25 minutes at the restaurant. If they would have told us I would have been fine with the wait time at home, before we came down to pick up. No apology or anything. But such is life. Now on to the food. We ordered 20 lemon pepper traditional, 20 honey bbq boneless and 20 garlic parm boneless. The lemon pepper were out of this world. Best I've had from BWW ever. The garlic parm and the honey bbq were also very good too. Only complaint is the fries are never hot and always blah. I don't know if anyone feels this way too, but that's my experience every time I come here. I ordered online again a week later and it was ready in 30 minutes. I ordered 40 wings for lunch and had fries and they were the same thing very very subpar. They did give me two free heineken 0.0's. The lemon pepper this time around wasn't as good. I also ordered mild wings boneless, they were good. They had a nice little kick to them. Just some helpful information they do have outside dinning at times. The area is very congested on the weekends especially and some nights since the weather is warm and covid restrictions have been lifted. Mainly too because the outdoor dinning pushes into the streets. There are parking lots up the block and around the corner and street parking in and around the area. You can also pay and park at Target behind BWW too. BWW has held on with a lot of the chain restaurants closing in the area; Cheese cake factory, Kona Grill, etc. They have a little ways to go as far as their customer service, speed, accuracy, etc. But if you in the area and you crave wings, beers and a place with a good atmosphere it's definitely worth a stop in to BWW. read more

The only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one is because last night, the order was finally correct. The first time I ordered, they forgot the two side veggies with the wings and didn't replace them with anything else. The second time we ordered, not only were they over an hour late and the driver was rude, but they forgot the three sides of veggies again. That time however, they gave us extra chicken (and so I assumed that this was for not having the side of veggies). Well about 30 minutes later, we received a call asking us to return the extra box of chicken or pay for it. WHAT? You want us to return chicken so you can either give it to someone else or throw it away? OR pay for it (for one, we paid for the side of veggies but never received them twice in a row but never received a refund)?? Such a scam! How about you check the orders correctly. So we decided last night to try them out one more time (and this time, I did not order veggies on account that apparently, this place only WANTS you to think they have them). We honestly like the food. It's great comfort food and it tastes great. It's just the AWFUL service/delivery. Last night, our delivery driver was about 25 minutes late and seemed either really tired or very high. The food was correct this time. However, it seems like the cooks are just pouring sauce into the boxes and shaking them every where because everything is so sticky. So, long story short: food is good but the service is extremely questionable. FIRST OF ALL BUFFALO WILD MF WINGS i have a lot of issues with the service & food i received october 23 2023 at approximately 8:40pm. we came for the 50¢ special & had many questions about the deal in which every single question we asked our waiter, she did not know the answer to and had to leave for 5 minutes to go ask somebody. every. single. time. which was fine for the first two times because she could have been new, but the repetitive behavior of not knowing was extremely unprofessional. she did not properly explain to us the deal & at the end of the night when we asked for take out boxes (upon leaving for the 100th time to ask), she said we could not bring our food home ... absolutely outrageous to not be told this information beforehand, but best believe i took home what i paid for. this is the kind of thing you tell your customer before allowing them all to order up to 12-18 wings each. if you knew that was a part of the deal, explain that to your customer before they order from that deal. when we asked to speak to the manager, the manager did not hear us out & said there was nothing she could do and they all gave very irritating and just not knowing. on top of that, she gave every single person ranch even tho we asked for blue cheese ... ON TOP of that, when we were given our loaded fries, they were incredibly stale & appeared as if it were siting out for a long time. the cheese had dried & the fries were all stuck together. the bacon tasted old and actually reminded me of the taste of blood. she also gave us a random loaded fry saying they made this but it isn't on our bill while proceeding to forgot about a normal fry we actually asked for. when i ordered takeout for my friends using the same deal she had no issues with ordering it & sending the order back to be made for me. maybe ten minutes go by & she comes back to tell me that you can not do the deal with take out. what blows me is she didn't think to tell us about anything regarding the deal. as a customer, being informed about things that deal with MY money is extremely important. she also took all of our uconn ID cards to put in our discount code just for us to wait 10 minutes for her to come back & say we can't. so much time was wasted waiting on our waitress rather than actually enjoying our meal & experience there. it seemed like no one knew what they were doing & in reality i was so irritated i didn't even want to pay. the music was also mad sad for absolutely no reason. the vibe was not there bc why am i trying to eat my food and somebody is crying on the speaker. my groups last experience with our waitress was amazing. she brought great energy, was well informed, interacted with us and brought in her own opinions when we had questions, and was overall a great waitress. we are very upset at how disappointing this one was. one thing buffalo wild wings will never see again is me ! read more
