I was finishing up a trip to town, and was looking for lunch. I had a taste for some spicy wings, so I stopped here. This place was built after I left the area, so I'd never tried it. Looking around the top of the building, you could see jerseys from some of the locals who had made it to pro baseball, and some other local teams. Nice eye candy. Lots of TV sets all tuned to sports or trivial - play along if you choose. I ordered a 10 piece boneless wings with their original buffalo sauce. The sauce was a little tame - the blue cheese dressing took care of the burn nicely. Service was a bit on the slow side - perhaps their lunch crowd isn't too busy? The service and quality at this location is failing epically. The servers are not trained and do not know the menu. After reminding the server of our appetizer we ordered after the food came things just got better. We brought my daughter there for her birthday. The server said I think she gets ice cream I will have to ask someone. He then proceeded to bring out a plate with some of the cinnamon sugar tortilla chips. When asked where the ice cream was he proceeded to try to tell us the ice cream was inside the chips. I had to explain the chips go into the ice cream. He then comes back with a small cup of ice cream that was frozen solid out of the freezer. I had an excellent experience at this bdubs. My waitress grace was INCREDIBLE!! We went on a semi busy night and she was clearly hustling and getting her work done, yet still amiable and charming. It's amazing to see someone with an incredible work ethic such as hers. We asked for the general manager, Alex, just to say how pleased we were with our experience here at bdubs. He was very personable. We also saw him running food and making drinks and actually helping his staff, which is quite a rare occurrence in today's commercial restaurant industry. The food came out fresh and fast, we ordered 2 simple appetizers (at different times because we're an indecisive pair) and they both came out at the same time, equally as hot! Our wings came out saucy, spicy, and fresh, Grace remembered all of our side sauces that we ordered with our meal. All in all it was one of the most pleasant experiences me and my other half have ever had at any bdubs. Kudos to the entire staff! Keep up the great work! read more

All I can say is WOW. My group and I ordered some alcoholic beverages. Our waitress was nothing but kind to us. But then we had a woman named Clarissa come over to give us our drinks, one of our drinks was a small beer, she brought over a tall and my friend told her he ordered a small. She proceeded to roll her eyes and give us attitude because he only wanted the small. She then came back with the right one and rolled her eyes like it was a burden to serve us. If you don't like your serving job, don't work in the serving industry. Coming from a past server, this was unacceptable behavior and needs to be taken care of immediately. read more

This was this first (and last) time I've been at this location. Firstly, my wife and I walked in and the manager told us to seat ourselves wherever and a waitress would be with us shortly. We should have taken that as an omen of things to come. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, it took almost ten minutes for a waitress to come to our table and take our drink order. After giving our drink order, our drinks did arrive in a timely manner. We gave the waitress our order (fried pickles for an appetizer, a burger for my wife, and chicken tenders for me - a pretty easy order), and we waited... and waited... and waited. After about thirty minutes, and not getting our appetizer yet, while watching tables that arrived after us getting food, we asked to see a manager. While waiting for a manager, our meals arrived (but still no appetizer in sight). We told the runner that we would not accept the food. After about five minutes, our waitress (who we hadn't seen in about thirty minuets) arrived at our table followed by the manager. We explained the situation to the manager while the waitress tried to interrupt my wife telling her "don't talk to me that way". Excuse me? It goes without saying that my wife was not happy, and told the waitress to go away. The manager, without apologizing, said that they were short handed and told us that we wouldn't be charged. I told him that, at that point, we weren't planning on paying anyway. We got up and left. We were there for about fifty minutes, and all we got was one soda each. This place was pretty busy and the staff seemed overwhelmed. While we were waiting for our takeout, the staff were messing up multiple people's takeout orders and people kept coming back in to have it changed. This caused us to have a longer wait time (originally 25 minutes) into a 45 minute ordeal. The salads are a joke. It's all just lettuce and they barely give you any (pictured). This is the worst BWW ever. It is so poorly managed. Went on a Saturday night. Few people there. Tables with dishes that sat the entire time we were there. It took 40 minutes to get our orders. Went here for lunch with my husband the Cubs game was on and we obviously could not miss that. Our server was awesome and great at explaining everything to us, my husband had been there many times this was only my second visit so she was very patient with me, not that it was that difficult but I forgot to choose a wing sauce. BWW has an awesome sports bar environment and a great place to bring the kids! If you're looking for a quiet place to have lunch or dinner this is not the place for you if you're looking for a lively environment to watch your favorite sports team and have some awesome wings and a beer (to which they are known have an extensive import and draft menu! ) then definitely choose BWW!! read more

Well after reviewing the original hot wing joint (Hooters) I guess it only appropriate to get to the newer kid on the block, Bdubs. Fresher look and feel, instead of Orange n White they go Yellow n Black and bring a bevy of tv's to their game. So instead of looking boorishly at the wait staff you check out whatever game of choice happens to be on. I don't find the wings as good as the original but they aren't bad by any stretch. What I did find really awesome wasn't even in the wing category but the French Dip...total sleeper and fantastic. What I found to be not so awesome ? The ridiculous wait time. Go in to a pretty empty restaurant and was promptly greeted by two younger adults. The one asks if a high top table is ok and is about to walk us over to our table. She gets stopped by the manager, Matt, so that he can have an employee "meeting" first while we stood there. The young girl even said can I just seat them first and he says no. The the male manager acted like it's not their responsibility to ensure customer service and tried to push blame on DoorDash. I order take out here more than any other place, which admittedly isn't often, only about four instances since they opened. They mess up my order every time! It's frustrating, they even have a sticker on the bag about checking it for accuracy and not putting hot and cold food in the same bag (which they have always done and I always have lukewarm soggy food two miles later when I arrive home). Dipping sauces are never included for some reason, even though they are on the menu with the appetizers. I always have to wait on my food, this last time for 30 mins. Usually I have to wait on someone to even acknowledge me even when the place is empty. This last time I ordered a salad and received it drowning in dressing in a cardboard box. Wtff? I'm a big fan of Bdubs, but this is without a doubt the worst location I've been to. The chicken at this location is pretty gross. It crunches when you chew it. I've eaten at this location about a dozen times and after my last visit, will never go back. I'm not sure if it's bad meat (i.e. "woody breast") or just old, but more often than not, the chicken texture is disgusting. We stopped here on our home to Michigan for carry-out as a quick pit-stop. Unfortunately they got our order wrong and gave us friend tenders instead of grilled. This usually would be no issue but we were in a rush to get back on the road. Essence did an amazing job, she was extremely hospitable, refunded our order, allowed us to not only keep the mistaken food but also gave us a bottle of water for the road. My fiance and I stopped in here for dinner on our way through town. I've been to Buffalo Wild Wings before and expect it to be loud, but we could barely have a conversation without yelling at each other. On top of that, the waitress was barely around. We ordered an appetizer and after she dropped it off, she was nowhere to be found for us to ask for a side of ranch.
