2/18/26 Today we took 13 residents from Swan Pointe HOA to Buffalo Wild Wings, Middletown. This was a great time to go tonight because the Olympics were playing a curling event. What else was great was that we were sitting across from Ralph, who has been studying the game and now we know, he's an expert. Our server tonight was Clay and let me tell you, he did a great job. He had a lot of energy and never slowed down all night. He went around and got our drink orders and our appetizer orders. They have Happy Hours from 3:00 until 6:00, so we all rushed in to get there before it was over. They have appetizers from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The prices range from $3.00 - $6.00. There are also Happy Hours prices on some drinks. Check their app for details. We looked over our menus and they had quite a bit of choices. Both kinds of Wings, a variety of Chicken, many types of Burgers , and Salads that were really fresh. I had a Patty Melt on Toast. It had Swiss and American cheese, Bacon and 2 Smashed Hamburger patties. I had them leave off the onions. I loved the burger. I chose the side salad. It was so delicious. My husband had the All American Burger. He thought it was really good. He chose Onion Rings as his side. Looking around the table, a lot of people chose Hamburgers, Wings, Cheese and Dip. We really had a great time and I have to brag on Clay one more time. He did the best job with taking care of 13 people at our table plus a pretty good amount of people at the tables behind us. It's been a long time since I've been to BW3. We went for lunch and it was ok. Let me start off with the food which was the service. It was great no complaints. Now to the food....idk if it's because there's so many amazing chicken places out now or if the food has really went downhill since when I first visited a BW3; but, it was mediocre at best. We ordered the ultimate nachos and they tasted like generic tortillas you would get at a gas station. Not impressed at all. They did have a pickle hot pepper that was very tasty. I ordered the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad and it was ok. It all came down to the chicken. It just wasn't that great. The girls got boneless wings they didn't eat a lot. I don't like the feeling of paying $70+ for three people feeling like we couldn't went through a drive thru and had tastier food. Smaller than your typical Bdubs location. Bar area is packed with TVs for watching the game and they do a decent job of getting the games on the game you want to watch. Bartenders and servers are very good. Food typically comes out very fast even on a football Sunday. read more

Food was ok. Service was terrible. We have never been so disrespected by a waitress. She or the kitchen messed up the order and took offense when we asked about it and said she was busy "running food." There were maybe 5-6 tables full on a Saturday at lunch time and she was not the only server. . I'll start by saying I come to this establishment often and have always enjoyed my experience. Although I was there last night (12:30AMish) and the experience was not the same. We started hearing shouting by the kitchen between two girls, damn near fist fighting, one being the server fighting over what seemed to be the manager on duty. I placed an order through the app with a promised pickup time of 6:00 PM. Given that it was Super Bowl Sunday, I expected some delays and was willing to wait. However, after an hour and a half, my order was still not ready. At that point, a server approached me and asked for my name. As my wife handed over our receipt to help, the server snapped at her, saying, "I said SIR!"--completely dismissing her and speaking in an unprofessional, rude manner. I immediately stepped in to clarify that she is my wife, but instead of apologizing, the server just wrote down my name and walked away. Frustrated, I went to the counter to request a manager. A few minutes later, the same server returned and said, "I spoke to my manager, and your food is not in good quality, so we are going to make it fresh." This only added to my frustration--why was my food sitting long enough to become inedible in the first place? I also told her she needed to rethink her approach to customer service. When I finally spoke to a manager, they agreed to refund my order, yet I still had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the front hostess to process it. By the end of the ordeal, we had waited nearly two hours, dealt with unprofessional behavior, and left feeling completely dissatisfied. This experience was unacceptable, and the lack of courtesy and organization was disappointing. I won't be returning. read more

Walked in at 11:10pm with a group of 8 people and waited 5 minutes before even getting greeted, in an almost empty restaurant. Before even getting seated one of the servers was arguing with the manager which made us uncomfortable. Once we finally sat down, one of the servers told us that they were trying to figure who was gonna take our table. In the background, we could see the servers arguing which is totally unprofessional. One server offered to take our table even thought they had already been cut. We were asked how long we planned on staying and if we were splitting checks which sounded like they were in a hurry to get us out. Those questions made us uncomfortable and feel very not welcomed. Overall it was a clean resturant but they once again raised their prices on everything. It's already over priced for wings since the cost of wings are cheaper than they were pre-Covid. Unbelievably poor service - so bad that we were comped our entire meal after our waitress complained to us that our table "wasn't even in her section" after asking for drink refills. Management assured us that she's "usually not like this" and their location is top 25 in the nation - there is absolutely no way. Over 40 min to get 3 basic meals, waitress didn't check on us once or get us refills, wasn't even that busy. Overpriced mediocre food isn't tolerable when you treat customers this way. I told the waitress I was going to stay a while and she tried to rush me saying that she "got cut" and when I offered to tip her she said "no I'm going to stay." I would've been better off with her leaving because my refills would've been the same... 0. Had to ask to get more wings and try and get her attention after she hadn't come to our table for 30 mins. We waited for about 40 minutes for any food to come to our table. We did order an appetizer to help hold off the toddlers and kiddo, but it didn't come till our food came. That being said, we definitely should have at least gotten the kids food first which was mac and cheese with fries. Our server apologized profusely about the appetizer not coming out beforehand, as there are food runners who run out the food. My husband's burger and fries were cold and the burger was not very good. Which is saying alot as he usually isn't one to complain. Then, by the time I got home, I was sick to my stomach. I can honestly say this is probably the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I've ever been to. There is never anyone at the front desk when you go in. You have to stand there forever before anyone notices that you're there. It was recently remodeled, and whoever thought of that set up did a horrible job because no one can see you're there. The customer service is mediocre at best And there is no clear way that they are fixing the food. There's hardly any sauce on it at all one day and the next day it's flooded in sauce. I only go there because it's just up the street from where I live otherwise I would never go there but when I do, I always expect a bad experience and it never fails. read more

We decided to get some wings for carry out to watch the super bowl. I'm not sure if they ran out of sauce or if parmesan garlic is now a dry rub, but my wings were horrible. I'm giving two stars because at least my order was done on time even with the high demand. I'll be sure to check my bag next time before I leave. read more

She came to check if we got everything a couple minutes after we got the food. And a second time when we finished. None of the drinks got refilled. Ordered DoorDash, he was great, got there before the food was ready. Once delivered, I think our chicken wings were actually bits of breading that fell off others, there was NO chicken and it was COLD. I also ordered a salad with ranch, got no ranch, no fork. Also ordered celery and ranch, no ranch. I immediately called the restaurant, someone picked up but didn't say anything. I said hello a few times. Called right back and was placed on hold with no greeting, been on hold for 25 minutes so far. .... DO NOT GO TO WESTPORT BDUBS IF YOU WANT CHICKEN IN YOUR WINGS! UPDATE: after waiting over 30 minutes, I asked for a manager, and was hung up on again. Called again and the same person answered, this time stating he was the manager. He says the phones have been disconnecting. Financially I have to get a refund from DoorDash. As far as discussing the service and quality, he didn't want to talk about it and kept saying get a refund from DoorDash. We were there at 6:30 'ish. Place was packed. Our bartender/server (Kayla) was amazing! It appeared she was taking care of the customers at the bar along with the seated tables. Had lunch here recently, sat at the bar. The bar had visible dried streaks from I guess a dirty rag used for cleaning (irony) - I tried to wipe it down myself with a napkin, nope, dried pattern from a wet rag. Also bar had grease marks that I could wipe around with a napkin in a swirl, nice. Ordered chicken tenders & fries. Odd, it appears to be dried mac-n-cheese on the pan on which my lunch sat...scraped a few dried chunks off with my fingernail. Mmmm tasty. Took 45 mins with 17 people total in the restaurant and took 45 to get drinks. Horrible service

We have ordered take out from here about once a month for the last four months and I understand making allowances for short staff etc. but not one of our last 4 orders has been correct. They forgot an item each time. This last time it was a burger usually it was the fries. The fries and onion rings were extra crispy as if they had been under a hot light for a week. Needless to say we will not be patronizing this establishment again. Healthier for us anyway. So thank you b-dubs for the encouragement to not eat there again. read more
