Amazing spot. We come here every Sunday for the NFL and soup. Great location, great staff and the soup is to die for.

Roosters is an American wing/sports bar in the same vein as a hooters or a Buffalo Wild Wings that has had a few locations pop up over the last decade in the Lousiville area. This particular location is in the fern creek neighborhood off at the Bardstown rd and hurstbourne lane intersection. I personally love roosters and there atmospheres. They are very large with plenty of seating a good family vibe and a fun place to have a guys night to watch a football game. I was originally familiar with the Preston Highway location that also is Lousiville local Cleveland browns browns backers club (go browns!). When they built a location closer to my house on fern creek a couple years ago I was pretty pumped up. The food here I'm a fan of. They personally have my favorite chicken quesadilla in the city. The frost bread pizzas are personal sized and very good and they have a nice mixture of wings and sauces. The wife and I like to mix two sauces the donkey and Carolina gold sauces and it a a perfect mixture of sweet and spicy. The kids and wife all love these rooster locations too. Everything we have ever tried here we have all liked. Despite only being here a few years I've made new fun and cool memories at this fern creek location. Me and my good friend have had several guys nights where we get together with a large group of our old buddies and have a guys night out. I've been here for special fundraisers for my nephews baseball team that includes a buffet that has mini corn dogs, max and cheese bites and there famous chicken wings of course. I also had a baby sprinkle/diaper party at theirs location for my 4th born daughters anticipated arrival in early 2020. I will say for large events and parties this location has done a good job. The only reason this location isn't a 5 is on regular visits in a slow weekday with the family they struggle. The food and vibe is still good but the service is very slow and bad. I think the may save there better servers for game, fight and weekend nights because on those the service is top notch like the other rooster locations in the area. Overall, I'm a frequent visitor and will continue to be one. I look forward to many more family dinners, game nights, special events and guys nights at this location.

Kyle said the bartender is always right because of a sign. I disagree and disagree with a .99$ charge for ranch at a wing establishment

Pow wow shrimp- crispy coating, tender shrimp under neath with a firecracker sauce drizzle- hints of spice and sweetness at the end. Bison burger- little dry and overdone, the blue cheese dressing gave a little moistness to be able to eat. Onion rings on the burger had just the right bite with a coating that was crispy and not over oily. Sirloin - cooked to the exact medium rare, seasoning had the right amount of peppercorn flavor. They told me to call again a couple of hours before arriving, which I did. I was on hold for about 15 minutes, and they let me know our 7:00 p.m. request wouldn't work due to another large party, but they offered 7:15 or 7:30. I chose 7:15 and arrived around 7:18. My group didn't fully arrive until about 7:45, so I was worried our tables might not be held. They'd told me on the phone that they don't have tables bigger than eight, so we'd be seated at back-to-back tables. In the end, it worked out really well. Sixteen people showed up, and once everyone was there, I texted "here" as instructed. We were seated within five minutes, which was impressive given how late people were. We had two servers for the group, but everything ran smoothly. I ordered chicken tenders with fire tots and mac & cheese--all tasted fresh. The fire tots weren't as spicy as I expected, but still good. Their $5 margaritas are a steal--flavorful, though not heavy on the alcohol. I also tried my cousin's hot wings, which were spicy but had a unique flavor--less vinegary than standard buffalo wings, and I loved that. Overall, Bubba's 33 feels like an upscale Applebee's--inviting, accommodating, and just really good. I'd only ever gotten takeout before, but dining in was such a positive experience. The staff even brought out a free dessert for my aunt's birthday, which was a great touch. I'll definitely be back!

We had a party of eight that they accommodated. Among other large parties we saw. The ambience of the place is so nice so retro. There are about 3 to 4 separate corridors within the building that hold different rooms. Two of them are JUST games. One is half tables half games and then one is just bar and tables. In the summer they have a window that lifts up where you can sit on their patio too. I got a house margarita which I ordered two of because the first one was so good. It was a celebration for my mother-in-law's birthday so she just got a regular beer, but the service was still good amongst all opinions . The bartenders were in good moods and the staff was still super nice and kind even though they were swamped. ----- The FOOD. UNMATCHED! To be THAT busy and push out food of the quality we received is mind blowing!! Good job! I've been here before but no one else had. Note! They only have tater tots. No fries. So I got the Always Sunny Totchos. HALF ORDER Their tots with queso (amazing) & SHREDDED STEAK, GRILLED ONIONS & PEPPERS To dieeee for! So delicious. Then I got wings to go; sauce on the side. COOKED TO Perfection! Buffalo, bourbon bbq, and ranch. My husband got the Mikey Likey burger and he said it was great. (ITALIAN SEASONED PATTY, WARM MARINARA, MELTED MOZZARELLA, PEPPERONI & BANANA PEPPERS) His sister got the "it's a wrap" and she enjoyed it. His mom got the "cougar bait tacos" and loved them. Can't remember what everyone else got because I was on the other side of the table, but everyone enjoyed it. Overall fantastic food! really interesting items. There are so many things on their menu I want to try. I just would probably go on a day they are not so busy. ---- Last notes, their games operate off of tokens that they have machines for that take $1, $5, $10, $20 & it's 25c for each token technically. During my visit, both were out of order so the hostess said that you have to go to the bar and you can swipe your debit card in exchange for tokens, which is a little inconvenient so we didn't do that. But no biggie. I had 4 tokens because it took $1 so she got to play Pac-Man twice and she was happy lol Additionally parking is a little rough when they are busy. Overall great place. Be patient. And maybe try a Thursday instead haha

My last visit was with several co-workers. The apps - besides the pretzel bites - of fried pickles and buffalo chicken egg rolls were devoured. The beer selection and tots also impressed them. There are so many great looking options on the menu that I couldn't choose just one. I got the Reuben sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich, thinking I'll eat half of each for lunch, and then the other half for dinner (is that how it actually went down? I'll never tell). Both of these were fantastic options for lunch. The Reuben was everything I wanted it to be, and the chicken salad had little differentiating touches that were thoughtful and made the sandwich better. The sides were great too! The portions were pretty big so I had plenty of leftovers. If you can only get one thing, get the egg rolls! They're similar to the ones at Chili's but better. They had a slight kick to them. I also like how you can see every ingredient in them because sometimes at other places it looks like the filling was blended. You can also see the seasonings they used so you know it has flavor
