Very sports bar vibe. Everything you look for in a pizza place. Staff was very nice and polite. Food was prepared within estimated time. Full bar. I carried out. Pizza was excellent. Well within pizza standards. It was a little pricey but basically the high side of normal... nothing I was going to open a vein over. It was a little loud but again sports bar vibe. Not my personal thing but it looked like it would be a good place to hang out.

Service was okay... but we ordered wings and the waitress saw a bug fly onto our wings and still laid the plate down on the table. We told her immediately that we had a dead bug on our wings she replied with "the bug flew onto your wings as i was carrying it to the table" and then walked away from us. She was visibly irritated that we didn't want a dead bug on our wings. She didn't offer to replace them she basically told us it was our problem. When we mentioned it again she offered to replace the one (1) wing but said it would take 35 minutes. Took quite a while to get food but the food without bugs on it tasted great! Usually don't have this problem here.

Not a bad pub. Gets a little crowded but it's alright. Walking distance from hyatt place. The yeungling is smaller pints but great price. Haven't gotten food here but I will be back to try the pizza and nachos. Seems a lot of locals go here. Good place to play keno. Not a bad spot for local bar.

Create your own with onions, peppers, and jalepenos!

Building is easily accessible for all mobility levels. Noise level was moderate during our visit since 3 football games were playing on the big screen TVs placed throughout the space and patrons were hyped. There is also an outdoor covered patio dining area with TVs, but it was empty due to today's late summer heat and humidity. We had 20 people in our group and waitstaff were excellent with handling such a large number of diners. We were seated at 3 tables and all of our food orders arrived within 10 minutes from first to last item. Very impressive! We had 2 servers and 2 food runners and they were on top of their entire operation during our almost 2-hour visit. Drink orders and refills were always fulfilled within minutes. An 18% gratuity was automatically added to our checks due to our large party size, but definitely worth it (and even more!) due to the stellar service provided. I tried the blackened chicken and shrimp salad with avocado and mandarin oranges and enjoyed the combination. Fresh and delicious and my favorite item was the flavorful shrimp. The chicken tended to be slightly dry. Unsweetened ice tea was a bit weak. My nearby table mates had orders for Moscow mules, margaritas, and wine from the bar, and food items included chili, nachos, flatbreads, buffalo chicken, garden salads, chicken and waffles, crispy fish, and Caesar salad. These dishes all looked very appealing and everyone was complimentary of the food and drinks. Looking forward to returning to this spot and definitely recommend.

We tried some cocktails and local beer and for food we went for several dishes, including the deviled eggs, hamburgers, buffalo wings, the ribeye steak and other dishes I did not have time to take photos of as we were a party of 6 and too busy enjoying our time! The only item that we believe could have been a bit better was the dessert - the Ultimate Brownie (warm chocolate walnut brownie, vanilla ice cream, with chocolate & caramel sauces.). It was sweet and all, but we could tell it was made out of a box. Overall, 100% recommended and can't wait to to come back to watch a game while enjoying good drinks and food.

We dropped in on Oaks night and even though it was pretty busy we were able to grab two seats at the bar. The only downfall of this was the time of day and the position of the Sun blaring through the garage door windows blasting me in the face however that cannot be helped or avoided, just a heads up for anyone who is super sensitive to the sun and arrives around sunset. I started with a Sunset Spritz and looked over the menu, there are so many great options to choose from and I was really torn on what to get but decided on the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich (you can also get grilled or fried, but the bartender recommended blackened) and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries come with a side of a smoky pineapple chutney of some sort and even though I'm not a huge fan of anything that's really smoky it was absolutely delicious and a great combo. Seriously 10/10 recommend. The sandwich was also fire! I am extremely picky about sea food, especially since I used to live near the cost so it was always fresh and it definitely did not disappoint. I was so full when we left lol My husband got the beef sliders as his entrée with a side of regular fries tossed in roasted garlic pepper. I tried them and they were just OK. The sweet potato fries are definitely where it's at! I am really looking forward to going back and trying out some new items like the Cheeseburger Hand pies, Chicken tenders or one of their boozy milkshakes ... it sounds delicious doesn't it!

Bourbon and Burger's menu is at least 50% identical to Mussel and Burger Bar and has some overlap with Havana as well (both currently or previously owned by Ole Restaurant Group/Martinez/Lorenzo). If you like Mussel and Burger, you'll like this. And pay about $10 more per meal. The burgers are mainly in the $15-$18 range. For JUST a burger. Add an extra $5-$7 for fries and you're looking at a BURGER meal topping out around $25. That's more than you'll pay for a burger at any fine steakhouse. Shakes are $9-$15! $1 extra for ranch! We just spent $120 for 3 people. For BURGERS. I'm not sure who decided on this price point but it doesn't fit. The vibe of the place is very casual. The food itself tasted fine. I don't recommend the zucchini fries. Burgers are too tall - with 2 patties on them. We had to eat them in sections with forks and knives (no thanks). Service was very slow. I don't think our server actually ever checked on us the entire time we had our food. Towards the end of the meal, I noticed the server had taken my soda away. And never brought a new one. I have no idea why. The grass bull outside makes for a fun pic. The restaurant has a great ambiance and offers outdoor seating as well. We won't be back.

When we walked in, it's honestly what we expected - a little hole in the wall, but it's really so much more than that!! The service was excellent. The staff, was warm and welcoming. The place is extremely clean and the food was really good. It was still pretty early so it was quiet, and there was only one patron at the bar and another playing the slot machine. We took a seat at the bar which had menus sitting on it so we began to look it over, and noticed so many items that sounded intriguing. Dennis, (pretty sure that was his name), was back in the kitchen cooking so it took him a few minutes to notice us which we didn't mind. We ordered two bottled beers, and I was amazed at how cold they were, I even commented on it. In my experience a lot of places do not serve "cold" beer so it was a nice surprise. We asked Dennis for some suggestions which he named off a few, BLT, BELT, Philly cheesesteak wrap, the burgers and more ..... he explained they try to cook fresh not frozen as much as possible which you can tell! The burger patties are hand rolled, and the dressings are hand sliced. He almost sold me on the Philly cheesesteak wrap but we both ordered the Caboose Burger, which is their version of a cheese burger, it came with chips or you can upgrade to waffle fries for a small up charge which we did. The burger came out piping hot, had great flavor and was delicious. The fries were also cooked perfectly, not too soggy, and not too crispy. We enjoyed one more beer while we ate, played a little Keno and then had to cash out to continue running our errands but I can honestly say I can't wait to get back and try some more of the things on the menu and simply just hang out there.

Twin Peaks gets a lot of attention for obvious reasons, but the food deserves some credit too. If they secretly hired a grandma, a pitmaster, and a wizard to run the kitchen, I wouldn't be shocked. I'll definitely be back. For the food. And before anyone starts asking questions, that's my final answer.

I recalled that I'd seen it from the Watterson Expressway -- and was intrigued by the "29° beer" signage. We looked at their website and found an every day happy hour that included $3.99 22oz. Peak's signature beers, $5 house margaritas, and $3.99 fried pickles, chipotle, queso and chips, billionaires bacon, and chips and salsa. And, they offer a 20% discount to military and first responders--EVERYDAY (on food; one entree per valid ID). As a nurse, I really appreciate that. On the way here my girlfriend joked that she was the best ever (she really is), because she was cool with us visiting Twin Peaks. I honestly didn't realize that it's basically a nicer Hooters. As a person that thinks Hooters is kinda trashy, I can vouch that my GF was right. The atmosphere is very welcoming, wooden walls, large bar with a live edge wood top, tons of TVs, lots of laughter and a really friendly welcoming from when you walk in. All the servers are young women wearing short shorts, sparkly belts, long socks with comfy boots and plaid shirts that showcase their chests.. this, "twin peaks". We were planning to come for 1 happy hour beer and maybe a few appetizers, but our server, Jordan, was so kind, welcoming and personable that we ended up staying 2+ hours, ordering 2 rounds of drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. She was incredibly attentive, making recommendations that didn't steer us wrong, and making us decide wishing the first 20 minutes that we'd accidentally stumbled upon a restaurant we want to frequent regularly! (And when we do.. we'll be asking for Jordan)! The service was very quick -- the food and the drinks. I got the Dirty Blonde signature beer. It's like a Blue Moon, very yummy. My GF started with the L.I.T., which we would not recommend. It was really lemon-y, and not-to-LIT. Won't order that again, but the margarita she ordered next was fantastic. The ribs were great, but the half rack only came with 5 ribs, so that was a little disappointing -- but the billionaire's bacon, one of Jordan's recommendations was awesome! Will order again! Overall, we loved the vibe, and the service, and the baseline value for the meal -- plus the first responder discount, it's a heck of a deal! It reminded us of Yard House, another chain restaurant that we love, that's not in Louisville yet. If every server is like Jordan, you're in good hands. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks for a great addition to our date night, Jordan. See you next time!
