Honestly, this was a fun time. My GF and I went to play games at Activate. After 90 minutes of running around and sweating our tails off, we decided to look for a Good Friday night Happy Hour. After searching Yelp for a bit, we were reminded of Twin Peaks. I recalled that I'd seen it from the Watterson Expressway -- and was intrigued by the "29° beer" signage. We looked at their website and found an every day happy hour that included $3.99 22oz. Peak's signature beers, $5 house margaritas, and $3.99 fried pickles, chipotle, queso and chips, billionaires bacon, and chips and salsa. And, they offer a 20% discount to military and first responders--EVERYDAY (on food; one entree per valid ID). As a nurse, I really appreciate that. On the way here my girlfriend joked that she was the best ever (she really is), because she was cool with us visiting Twin Peaks. I honestly didn't realize that it's basically a nicer Hooters. As a person that thinks Hooters is kinda trashy, I can vouch that my GF was right. The atmosphere is very welcoming, wooden walls, large bar with a live edge wood top, tons of TVs, lots of laughter and a really friendly welcoming from when you walk in. All the servers are young women wearing short shorts, sparkly belts, long socks with comfy boots and plaid shirts that showcase their chests.. this, "twin peaks". We were planning to come for 1 happy hour beer and maybe a few appetizers, but our server, Jordan, was so kind, welcoming and personable that we ended up staying 2+ hours, ordering 2 rounds of drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. She was incredibly attentive, making recommendations that didn't steer us wrong, and making us decide wishing the first 20 minutes that we'd accidentally stumbled upon a restaurant we want to frequent regularly! (And when we do.. we'll be asking for Jordan)! The service was very quick -- the food and the drinks. I got the Dirty Blonde signature beer. It's like a Blue Moon, very yummy. My GF started with the L.I.T., which we would not recommend. It was really lemon-y, and not-to-LIT. Won't order that again, but the margarita she ordered next was fantastic. The ribs were great, but the half rack only came with 5 ribs, so that was a little disappointing -- but the billionaire's bacon, one of Jordan's recommendations was awesome! Will order again! Overall, we loved the vibe, and the service, and the baseline value for the meal -- plus the first responder discount, it's a heck of a deal! It reminded us of Yard House, another chain restaurant that we love, that's not in Louisville yet. If every server is like Jordan, you're in good hands. Definitely worth a visit! Had good flavor and the chips seem fresh. Nice and airy. I got the chicken fried chicken. Came out crispy and hot. The chicken was really large. Great flavors. This is a staple that we get. Just enough to take the edge of and get going since it was late and my daughters now ex bf was being rude... came back inside and she just said it's gone now. So... that more than sucks. This was my first visit to a Twin Peaks restaurant. The food was decent even though the service was a little slow for the small amount of customers in the restaurant. The decor is Colorado chic with deer mounts and such on the walls. I can't say it'll be a regular spot for me but a one and done is fine I guess. read more

Twin Peaks is amazing....just freakin' amazing. First, it's huge. Like, MONSTROUSLY huge. And screens. A LOT of screens. We were told there are (if I remember correctly) over 80 screens of sports. EIGHTY. That's a lot of screens. We've visited Twin Peaks probably close to a dozen times, and each visit has been for Sunday lunch, so it's not packed-like-Friday-night busy. We've always been seated immediately, with never a wait. We've yet to have the same server twice, but then again the wait staff here is huge. We're glad they're got almost entirely all tall tables. Your menu can be found via a QR code on your table, which makes ordering easy. Despite some reviewers saying there aren't physical menus available, yes, there are. Simply ask. The Twin Peaks menu is enormous. Since it's generally lunch when we visit, we generally order off the appetizer menu. My #1 favorite item is The Hottie flatbread. The Birria tacos are a most excellent affair as well. Tried the Fish & Chips once, as well, and I'd rate this Fish & Chips as quite possibly the best in all the land. We have never had less than awesome food and have never had an issue. Twin Peaks is kind of a cross between one of the other national sports bars with Orange as the primary color and an owl as a mascot and, say, Cabela's and your nearest spots outfitter. And, yes, the servers are pretty, but they're also smart, most paying for college by waiting tables. They also know their menu well and can answer any questions easily. It's not uncommon for a manager to come by to see how things are going. Nice touch. If you're a Veteran or Active Duty military they offer a generous 25% military discount. This is a sizable discount, so don't be afraid of it. read more

Came here cause it was the only place open other than bars on a late thursday night but was surprised at how tasty my meal was. I wanted to get wings but couldn't find any information about their wing sauce on their menu so i just got the brisket flatbread pizza. it had a good amount of meat and wasn't soggy. I wish it came with a little more bbq sauce but otherwise no critiques. I also had french fries which was standard cut and crispy. The service was nice and it wasn't too loud between the music and the crowd, so i could still easily converse with my family. Overall a surprisingly good spot for food. read more

Was not overly impressed. Wings were large but came out dry and lacking sauce. Celery came out with rotten spots. Messed up kid's meal.. brought out a totally different dish. Took 10 mins to get server to come back and fix it then took 30 mins for the correct meal to come out. They gave a box and basically sent us on our way. We had all already ate. No offer to make it right. Server was rarely around to refill drinks or to check on us. Place was empty- maybe 5 other people. We got there about 20 mins after they opened. I love this place and will be leaving a five star review with a few "buts" though! This is one of the best bar scenes all around, no question about it. They also purchase almost all premium live PPV events such as UFC events. This is one of my favorite go to places during football season, but also a great stop to wind down after a long day of work. It's friendly to all audiences who enter, contrary to what you may believe based on appearances. The food to me is great, it's premium bar food with some fun innovations inbetween. Their chicken wings alone give Buffalo Wild Wings a lot to think about. Their house beers are great, I've tried them all. Their entire bar menu itself is very diverse and there's a drink for everyone, I love their limited run drinks because they always make up something really awesome. The few "buts"- the place is usually very crowded late at night as you'd expect, so you may be waiting shoulder to shoulder depending on the day, if that doesn't bother you then awesome. Servers are also hit and miss with the quality. Most of them really care about their customers, the experience, and what they're doing; however I've also had less than a handful whom were just awful, rude, and uncaring. Those ones don't usually last long, because management has high standards for their business here; and most servers want to be here! All in all highly recommend and love this location! read more

Our waitress, I won't call her out by name because perhaps she was just having a bad day, wasn't rude but was just flat out uninterested. The other girls that brought our beers and food out we're so personable so she really stood out. The food was pretty good. I especially liked the fried pickles we had as our app. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of my Nashville hot chicken but that's OK. I wouldn't hesitate to return and try some other items, though. I have been here twice before and really enjoyed it- drink deals are killer and food was good as I remember. Nothing foodwise that was WOAH SO MEMORABLE but I do appreciate a drink menu and good nachos. Came to Twin Peaks to watch the game with my friend. Came in and we were seated promptly. We both ordered the Strip steak and a drink from the bar. (Old fashioned). The food came out and to be honest was very underwhelming, it was cooked correctly but had very little seasoning. We were hungry so we just ate since the sides were pretty good. I ordered the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I also ordered a 6 piece wing to go. We went ahead and paid our tabs and we both gave a small tip on the card and we're going to leave her cash for her personal service. However before we left she came back and states "was my service bad" you only left 10%. My friend was not happy, she then goes over to a table of gentlemen across from us and tells them "their bad tippers" not knowing the group of men were our friends so of course there told us. So instead while we finished watching the game we gave all extra tips to the bartenders. Angel was out waitress and to be honest will probably not let her wait on us whenever we return. This is my second time patronizing this establishment. The first time I believe I had the Bria tacos (yummy) and hot French fries. This time, I ordered bone in wings and lobster Mac. The food was awesome! My biggest and only complaint. this is a sports bar establishment with many tv's and alot of sport interested people. it is loud and rowdy but very controlled. The music is the problem, it is loud, irritating and distracting. It is hard rock metal music and it does not cater to your entire patronage. Had a fantastic time with friends at Twin Peaks tonight. The decor reminds you of a mountain lodge complete with fireplace. Our waitress Destinie provided great service with a friendly smile! I had the fish and chips, the fish was beer battered, with a light malt vinegar flavor. The fish tasted light and fresh and not greasy. They have a fantastic $5 drink menu, the Amaretto Sour was amazing. The restaurant is loud but fun! TV covering any sport you could be interested in. It's so loud there you can't hear the rest of your family. The food is over priced for what you get. Over priced hooters. They do give a nice 20% military discount which is good. Friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak and liked it, as well. Only complaint is the girls bartending are always too busy chatting and on their phones to notice when customers need a refill, menu, etc. We always have to flag them down to get their attention. With a bar area that large the staff should always have their head on a swivel ready to serve patrons. Really disturbed about my visit to Twin Peaks Louisville KY tonight. It was Saturday, 4/27/24, the week before Kentucky Derby 150 and we were watching the night race on TV. At the end of our time there tonight, a manager named "Ron" came up asked me if Id taken pictures of the girls at the bar... Admittedly I was a bit confused, I said, what are you talking about??? He explained one of the girls said I took their pictures. I assured him Id only taken one picture of me and my buddy, and we were toasting to another friend in Houston. I showed him my camera reel and he saw the single picture I took. He agreed I didn't take a picture of anyone other than our party. So then I asked him what the issue with taking a picture regardless? This is clearly a theme restaurant, and the girls are in costume... He explained "its ok to take "posed" pictures if you ask the girls, but people just taking pictures isnt allowed. He then said one of the girls/servers said I was taking pictures of them and they called him about it on the radio. (I clearly didnt) but then he had to ask us about it. I was mad now, but also embarrassed of being accused of something we didn't do, and what's the issue with taking pictures in a restaurant. When I asked Ron for a copy of their policy, he didn't have one. I asked where it was posted, no answer. He said it was part of the training but he didn't give me anything in writing. My concern about the "non existent policy" is that I didn't take a bad/negative a picture at all, yet someone accused me of doing so. Then due to "policy" he was compelled to harass me and and my friend, and totally ruined the vibe of the evening; which was fun till that point. He then volunteered Nick Anderson a regional manager that was there on premises to come talk to me, because I was upset now. Nick was pretty abrupt, didn't like my questioning and asked if we were done (we were, paid and tipped) and told us it was time to go. Dont worry I wont be back. We had a few beers, and I took a pic of me and my buddy toasting another guy, that was it. Settle down photo patrol. If your a worker at Twin Peaks, "forced" to wear provocative outfits, low cut tops and daisy dukes, isnt there an implied expectation that you can expect people will take pictures? As a Warning to a patron of Twin Peaks. Make sure you don't take out your camera to celebrate any fun times, in general, never go to Twin Peaks Louisville to celebrate... anything. Don't go for any reason. If you do leave your camera in the car. Better yet select one of the other 8-10 restaurants in the area. read more
