The place was really busy, and as it was my first time there, I don't know if that's usual or not. If so, they need to figure out a better system for dealing with lots of people; if not, then they get a pass because it's an unusual experience. I have heard of this place through Social Media and people I know. I wasn't too sure what it was before but, I heard local bands and musicians would perform here. I also heard it was a bar and restaurant. What brought me here, Burger week of course. I go here after getting off work one evening. Entering the parking lot it was packed but I found a space close to the entrance. I go in and I asked if I could sit at the bar because it was just me and was told that I could. I sit at the bar and I do get service in a good amount of time. I got the Pizza Burger which was their specialty and the Mozzarella Moons (another term for mozzarella sticks) except they are moon shaped. Very good. Then came the pizza burger. Pepperoni, cheese and marinara on a burger patty. Loved the crisp pepperoni and the cheese and marinara sauce. Can't say I ever had a burger like that and even told the bartender that was my favorite burger for burger week. Service, food and atmosphere was good for the most part. Apparently they have their staff try to push dessert sales for an S/O (Shoutout). Nothing wrong with trying to sell desserts but, idk how that sits with other employees like it's a competition or something. I didn't order the dessert and their choices looked good. I was full and thought maybe next time. I definitely want to come back and try their other foods at some point but, I don't come to this end very much. 3.5 overall. After the last visit, I had taken Blind Squirrel out of the meal rotation. I found myself back with coworkers, both local and form out of town. We came in time for happy hour and didn't have an issue getting a large patio table in the shade, plus one of each of the promoted appetizers. Those items were probably my favorite - the pretzels with beer cheese, the wings, and queso with chips. I spotted a couple of friends, ordering the fish and fries. Several others, including myself, ordered pizza. I opted for the hand tossed pepperoni pizza with hot honey. I'm quite wimpy when it comes to spice and this was not overly hot for me. Blind Squirrel continues to shine for its patio dining, beers, volleyball courts, and live bands. However, the food is only average and not a place that I would recommend for meals. read more

We had a large group of 16 people at Blind Squirrel, and the experience was fantastic! There was plenty of seating available for a group our size, and the atmosphere was great. A massive shoutout to our server, Déjà, who provided excellent, pleasant, and highly attentive service. We came for a Saturday lunch and had a great experience. We were greeted and seated quickly. The place is open and airy. They sometimes have live music, but that is not usually a lunch thing. The food is casual dining and pub fair. We were a party of 6 and everyone had good things to say about the food quality. Average entrees were 17-20 dollars. The refills on drinks were a tad bit slow, but that was a minor thing. Overall, we had a great experience and will be coming back. read more

We came here for NYE. It was a fun night. For $20 we got "$500" in gaming chips. We could exchange each $100 chip for. Raffle ticket. We got there about 7:05 and the doors opened at 7. We had to wait outside in the freezing cold for about $20 while they checked people in. I'm not sure why it took so long but it did. We were sat and got a table as soon as we paid our $20 cover charge. We ordered drinks and food pretty quickly. The food was ok. I got the buffalo chicken wrap. It could have used more buffalo sauce, but it was otherwise good. My husband got a burger. It looked much better than it tasted. The meat was just lacking seasoning. If they would have properly seasoned the meat it would have been great. The beers were good, but expensive. The draft beers were between $10-$13. The $10 mixed drink "buckets" were tasty and worth their price however. I'm not a fan of Elvis music but the Elvis they had doing the live entertainment was pretty good. We had fun with the "gambling". They had roulette and black jack, but only 2 tables of each so they were a little crowded. We ended up playing roulette and I found out I quietly enjoy playing it. They abruptly ended the gambling portion at 11 but no one knew they were stopping at 11 until they stopped so we were all a little disappointed. We were here last night for a networking event. They had us in a private room upstairs which was great. We had our own bartender and a buffet set up for everyone. Some of the buffet items were Tortilla Chips, Queso, Guac, Ground Beef, Dry Rub Bone In Wings, Pulled Pork, and Pretzel Sticks with Housemade Beer Cheese. Everything I tried was delicious. Me and a friend stopped in Wednesday night just to catch up. It wasn't busy and were sat right away. Our server Bethany noticed us almost immediately and come over to introduce herself and went over the Happy Hour options which are Monday - Friday 3-6. $6 small plates and drink specials. We took advantage of 1/2 price bottles of wine and got the Chips and Queso. We just sat and chatted and for a while. Bethany was very friendly and checked on us regularly. 2/11/2026 We took 13 of our Swan Pointe HOA Residents to Blind Squirrel for dinner. In case you're not familiar with Blind Squirrel, it's a popular American Restaurant and Sports Bar known for its large outdoor patio, sand volleyball courts, live music and extensive bar with bourbon and beers. I'm thinking that about 9 of our party of 13 had Fish and Chips. It came with 2-3 pieces of fish, a small portion of Coke Slaw, 3 Hush Puppies and another side of your choice. My husband chose Onion Rings. ( they were really good with no grease.) I had 3 Mini Cheeseburger Sliders and I was able to choose a side. There are free sides and premium sides for $2.00 more. Other selections that were available was Burgers, Pizza and Appetizers. Our server, Misty was fabulous and did a great job taking care of all of us. Our food was brought out very quickly considering how many of us there was. She was so friendly and was one of the best servers ever! We'd love to have Misty again. Their GM, Rod Young wasn't there that night, but he has certainly trained an excellent staff. There was a big crowd last night but the noise volume was around medium. Blind Squirrel offers decent bar food with an amazing patio, volleyball court, and upper deck. Unfortunately its service team struggles to make the experience anything other than mediocre. We walked in on a Friday night, busy as expected --no issues there, but we almost left twice. The wait time told to us was surpassed by twenty minutes, this was okay as we had drinks from the bar and felt that if we finished our drinks before being seated then we could leave. We got sat before then, okay so after being sat we didn't get a server until another 15-20 minutes! We said again if we finished our drinks our drinks before they come to us we would leave. Right in the nick of time a server came. She admitted to not seeing us and tried to get our complete order then and there. The food comes, the mozzarella moins were good. The burgers we also good. Each ingredient individually was meh, but together created a good flavorful taste with each bite. Big fan of the twister fries, I would highly recommend getting twister fries over their regular fries. I am not sure if we will go back, but if I do I truly hope for a better experience. Was there yesterday for trivia night. I ordered the BBQ burger and my friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak. The bread on both of our sandwiches was cold and fries were lukewarm. No BBQ sauce on my burger. Sound system was so bad we couldn't understand what the trivia announcer was saying. Luckily the questions were displayed on multiple screens around the dining area so we could still participate. Not our first time, but certainly our last. We were seated promptly outside by the hostess. But then waited...and waited...and waited. With a TODDLER. We were passed by not 1 but 3 different servers. Helped every table around us, including 2 tables that were sat after us. One lady wasn't even eating, she just had her iced tea at a table and even had a server put up her umbrella for her. Most recently I ordered a pizza for the first time and boy oh boy was it delicious. Next time I would like to try the thin crust. My only minor complaint is that it's not dog friendly. It was a Saturday night, but no live music. Sadly it was the only Sat night of the month that nothing had been scheduled. They have volleypits outside that you can sometimes watch but nothing going on when we were here... so basically it was just a regular sports bar. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. It came out, the fries were hard and cold... When the waitress stopped by I shared this with her and she had me a HUGE replacement basket in about 2 mins. Thank you! My chicken sandwich was very tasty and their ranch is top notch! Definitely tastes homemade and they are very giving with it, no upcharge. Loved that. Service was excellent. Why is no one talking about the cheese curds? The location is great, indoor and out. Just a great sport/summer bar set up. The steakhouse salad was a 10. Big chunks of well cooked steak, loads of topping. But the hidden star were the Fried Cheese curds. Pillowy little cubes of hot cheesy goodness. The ambience was beautiful and clean, our waitress was friendly and attentive as per usual. I don't believe we've ever received poor service here. I had the fish and chips with a side of Texas toast and the twister fries, while my husband tried the Italian sub which he said was very delicious and mentioned he would definitely be getting it again.
