Had the new Golden Fire sauce (sweet & tangy Carolina Gold meets fiery chiles for a sweet heat) and old reliable Cajun sauce. The cheddar potato wedges were good for being delivered as well. I'm not a person to write reviews granted I've worked in the field before so I know it's demanding when it gets busy and also a the type of person to leave above average to great tips. Second experience I went there to celebrate with 2 other friends for their graduation "2 HOURS" before closing, that's right, "2 HOURS" before closing the waitress came up and said "Sorry, we're closing soon and pretty busy so might not be able to serve you until an hour from now. Took a look at many of the empty tables and knew she was lying but I hate making a scene. So we left. Despite having bad experience twice and all these bad reviews I believed the third times a charm. I went in there again today after calling the store about 5 times, and all those 5 times was put on hold without being told, phone just picked up and and lady kept ending the call. Went in 2 hours before closing again only to be told the same thing "that they're busy and that wait time is going to be 1-1:30 hour long. But they close in 2 hours so I have better luck leaving and going to another place." Took a look and there was still many empty seats that was cleaned. So I went to the one in Roseville even though it was a farther drive. (Did I mention this location was way more packed). But I went in because this Roseville location has workers who does their job diligently even when backed. Waitress said 30-45. (30-45 min even though it was more packed). Yeah, big difference in attitude. The Maplewood BWW needs an EMPLOYEE RENOVATION, possibly a new GM who can do their jobs and carry it a bit more prouder than this. I'm not a big fan at their wings here so it wasn't a surprise that I didn't get any. Instead, I got their Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap with fries on the side. Interestingly enough, the buffalo ranch chicken wrap just happens to be a 'fan favorite'. It's not something I would rave about but it wasn't bad. I would get it again if I were to go back. Their air conditioning worked really well, if I must say so myself. I would recommend going there on a hot humid day to cool off. It did get a bit cold so I wouldn't really recommend wearing shorts and a tank top, but each to their own. Their bathrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper/paper towel. That's always a bonus in my books. The stalls were a decent size and there weren't too many people going in/out of the restroom when I went, so that was pleasant as well. First would like to say I'm not a wing fan, I only go to BWW because my son loves em. We go to BWW Maplewood early on a Saturday (before noon) and there were maybe 3 other tables of people in the restaurant, so not busy at all. My son ordered wings I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. We waited 30+ minutes for our food. When it was finally delivered to our table I (luckily) cut my chicken sandwich in half only to discover it was raw in the middle! I flagged down our waitress, she apologized and asked if I would like something else. I said, you know, I hate to be this person but I just waited over 30 minutes for a raw chicken sandwich, I really don't want to wait any longer for a cooked one. This particular location leaves a lot to be desired. It's a night and day difference from Oakdale/Woodbury (which is a corporate training store). This Maplewood store is definitely a step down in quality. The staff is really hit or miss. If you go during the day in the summer, you get teenage kids working their first job. They must all be 16 years old. Aloof, poor customer service, easily confused. These kids sure are learning a lot, but at the expense of screwing up your orders. At night though, it's downright scary. The evening crew here (especially the WEEKNIGHT evening crew) is all unkempt hair, unwashed clothes,muffin tops bursting in too tight pants, cooks with cocked hats and sagging drawers, waitresses with neck tattoos, and bruised arms. And that's from THE STAFF! It's a hard knock life at B-Dubs apparently. Either that or this is the gangsta location (especially in the kitchen - yikes!). I'm worried about catching something when I eat in. The late night clientele matches this vibe too though.I think other people know this too, because getting a table is not usually a problem. It is the closest BWW to our house though, and the roommate and I often get the takeout. I feel like it's kind of expensive that an order of wings each, an order of mozz sticks to share, and a order of pretzels to share, sets you back $35 though. That seems kind of steep to me. When the hankering for hot wings hits though, you've got to get them! The actual place itself is newer and the outdoor patio, while small, has a ton of tv's. We went In tonight at about 6pm with our 2 kids (11 and 6) and we were greeted by 2 hostesses both uses foul language. "Fuck this bullshit" "calm the fuck down and go outside" "don't fuck with her like that" for a few examples. They were both more concerned with each other then with us. We had to tell her several times how many of us were with us. Didn't get crayons for the kids. We get to the table and my oldest daughter pointed out the poor language that was being used by the hostesses. These girls should be watching their language around customers, especially kids. Terrible. I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks both horrible experiences. Last night I didn't get my soda til after my food came. I ordered extra sauce and they came out basically plain. My friend didn't get the correct drink she ordered vodka 7 she got a whiskey coke. The guy took forever on everything I wanted to leave. Cons: Service is poor. Food quality is hit or miss. Restaurant has the corporate feel. Minimum wage workers. This corporate giant charges high prices for their food but pays the or workers low wages. This has a negative effect on the service and quality of the food. Pros: Mango habanero is amazing! Tip: watch out for calling ahead (take-out ordering). They will tell you that it takes 40 minutes for your food to be ready. If you wait 40 minutes, your food will be cold when you get it. How long does it take to deep fry some chicken and potatoes anyway? This is no different than fast food! Also, my takeout order consisted of 4 sides of ranch, but they gave me blue cheese! What an effect this had on my eating experience! Who would have thought how significant in effect not getting ranch can be. Too bad I was at home when I noticed. I noticed that there was a sticker on my bag that had a checklist that the associate was supposed to go through to ensure that everything was correct. One of the items on the checklist was correct number of ranch, blue cheese, celery, carrots, Etc. This checklist wasn't even used by the associate. If I ever order takeout from here again, I will show up 15 minutes after I place my order so that I can get my food when it's hot, and I will go through the entire bag of food to make sure that everything is correct.
