Well where do I start, came in with a party of 7 on a very dead night there was a handful of groups here. I tell the hostess that I have a party of 7, which she told me to hold on, and proceeded to walk around the entire restaurant seemingly to find someone to ask what to do about my party of 7. We did finally get a table. Shortly there after a member in our group asked for a sweet tea, the waitress quickly went and go the "sweet tea" which we quickly got a whole glass of tea (no ice) and a bottle of simple syrup, then a glass of ice. We were slightly disappointed that the waitress did not disclose this to us before hand and just went and did this, but it is what it is. Now I can see why this place was so dead, prices are quite literally outrageous, prices are easily up 50-70% over recent years, and portions are massively decreased. I took a chance and ordered from Buffalo Wild Wings. I was craving a burger and the website photos were enticing...I'm such a putz. I ordered a hamburger and fries. What could go wrong? My hamburger was luke warm and my fries were stale and cold. How can this be...it should take my meal no more than a few minutes to go from the kitchen to my mouth? However, this place found a way. Did not even get to eat here tonight. Place was empty and after having to ask to be seated for the hostess did not even acknowledge my wife when she walked in. While sitting and waiting for over 10 minutes we got up and walked out. Told the manager and he just let us walk with not even offering to rectify the issue to keep me there. Will never go back to this one. Will go out of my way to another location. What is wrong with with the restaurant industry today. By the way 1 star only for I cant give negative stars. Many many times I go here also was able to get food during pandemic. I generally love wings so this is my go to place when I have craving. This review is for our recent visit, we went late after a movie with about 45 mins before closing. They always honor guests and do not rush you, the night the dining area was empty and I think there were people at the bar. BWW is a great sports pub with excellent service and great food. When you have games going on you want to be here watching on the big screens all around. A small suggestion, I love spicy wings but during this visit the Wild flavor had too much vinegar in the sauce and it tasted very tangy that didn't give me the spicy kick. Lemon pepper wings should be more flavorful. Just make sure you follow the recipes thoroughly. Try Caribbean jerk on your wings yum. Highly recommend any location anywhere. Thumbs up read more

I'm going to have to go with the consensus here and give this location 2 1/2 stars, meaning it could be (much) better and struggling to be just "OK". I first started eating at BWW at their Windsor, CT location while working nearby and normally would give them 3-4 stars but this location fails to get there. The menu has a good variety and I've tried a lot of different things from here, but with 'wings' as part of your name and "Wings. Beer. Sports." as your slogan I'm sort-of expecting that you do chicken wings well. The other food is generally on the salty side and is a step-up from what I'd call "bar food" but the lunches I've had from the other location(s) have been decent. It's really hard to mess up the "Beer." part and almost impossible to botch the "Sports." one but the "Wings." is where this particular location seems to struggle. I've eaten chicken wings from dozens and dozens of different places in the state (and outside CT) and these aren't even close to top 10 or even 20. One particular order seems like it was deep fried for 2-3x as long as it should have been. They wound up very crispy but what little meat was there was completely dried out. Think about the turkey scene from the Christmas Vacation movie. If it weren't for the sauce there's no way I could have eaten those. After bringing this up to management I received no response, but they added 'reward points' to my BWW account. I'll reiterate my stance on that for those unfamiliar with my reviews - if you aren't going to fix the issue(s) I have no interest in any of your food, free or not. The times following this they swung to the opposite side of the spectrum, while they are cooked through the skin is rubbery and chewy which is just as bad as overcooked and dry. The nachos I got with the overcooked order I added brisket meat to(for an upcharge) and that was equally overdone. This in addition to not filling the orders correctly (no napkins, incorrect additions, etc.) brings them down to nearly a 2 star rating. I think the issue comes down to attention to detail, or lack of it. It's not that hard to cook chicken wings that are crispy without being overdone. I'm not sure if this is BWW failing to have the right protocols and procedures in place or the employees are just failing to execute on it. We were driving back from Boston, it was nearing lunchtime, and we knew we'd get home too late to see the start of the Giant game, so stopping at BWW for lunch and some of that big screen NFL action seemed like a no-brainer. We scored a nice table in front of the screen showing the FOX pre-game show so we thought we were sitting pretty. Lunch ran us $32.19 and this is what we had - a Spiked Seltzer ($5), a Bloody Mary ($8.99), Street Tacos ($6.29), and Chicken Buffalitos with Fries ($9.99). My Buffalitos were two flour tacos loaded with grilled chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar, a few dollops of sour cream and my choice of wing sauce ( I went for Jamin' Jalapeno). They were terrific, and the side of fries was easily enough to split and share. Our server Bella was pleasant and helpful, and became particularly helpful when at 1:00 the FOX game broadcast turned out to be (who in CT cares?) the Chiefs and Lions, instead of the Giants-Redskins. We weren't the only ones who asked for the Giants, and eventually that game did show up on a few of the dozen screens (nowhere near us), but that was too late to catch the Giant's first TD. Now look, this really surprised me because BWW prides itself on being a great sports bar to watch the NFL on Sundays. After the Patriots, I'm confident the Giants are the second favorite team here in Connecticut, and the fact that BWW didn't even have their game on was a big disappointment. I think there was a complication between Direct TV broadcast rights and the local Fox broadcast, but if I was running the place I would have made darned sure these things were ironed out well in advance for my football loving customers. As a result, we had crappy seats for the game we went there to see, so we left as soon as our meal was over. Oh well, the Giants won big, our food and service were fine, but we kind of wished things would have been better all around. Fumble BWW!!! read more

Even in the pandemic, this place seems to be packed. This is a good spot to watch a game or have a beer with some finger foods. I went for a take out this time. Thursdays there is buy one get one boneless wings. There are a lot of types of sauces. It takes some trial and error to figure out the right one. Mango habenaro was really hot, but had flavor. People may think I'm being petty but the experience is part of the overall experience. Well if not for the specials they had as seen on tv we would of never gone there at all don't understand why these establishment hire people skills. I came to BWW with my cousin tonight. We sat at the bar area and was greeted quickly w our waitress. She asked us what we wanted to drink and we stayed for now water. We looked at the menu, this is a place you kind of know the menu, and know what to order from there. We got two beers down east cider and miller lite, potatoe wedges with Cajun dry rub on top w a side of queso dip, and chicken wings. We have the dry rub chipotle, dessert heat, lemon pepper, and Asian zing. The beers we know how it Taste so nothing new about that; you see can't mess it up unless you are giving us some old skunk beer. As for the potato wedges w the Cajun dry rub; that was delicious! The chicken wings I had all flavors before besides the Asian zing. That flavor reminded me of the sweet Thai chili sauce you get at the Thai restaurant with spring rolls or shrimp in a blanket. That was dissatisfying and I won't ever order this again. Our waitress, who I won't mention her name on yelp; gave us a look that made us feel uncomfortable. She checked on us when the food arrived to ask us how are things ( I hate when people do this because I haven't even gotten a chance to take a bite into anything yet. How would I know how it taste already? ). Besides that she never came and we stayed for little over an hour. I had to ask another waiter to grab her so we can get the check to leave to grab drinks elsewhere. This isn't a place where you grab drinks to talk, it's very loud, and busy. They know what they are good for, just like they say "a place to get together with friends, watch sports, drink beer and eat wings" and that's exactly the only think should come here for. It was a little bit of a sausage fest ... left me feeling a bit uncomfortable..not that there was anything wrong. But I'll get my wings another place and the guys can have their "man cave" all to themselves. The place has large screens mounted on every wall so no matter which was you turn you never miss a sports moment. Crazy!! The menu features other food but as I said ppl come here for the wings made any which way you like them mild to atomic hot they have an array of dry rubs or sauces to choose from. I tried spicy jerk (was smoky and sweet) and spicy garlic (yum!). The service is attentive and fast. They check on you constantly. There are lots of reasons I like Buffalo Wild Wings and I've found that like many national chain restaurants there are many features that are consistent at all their locations and those similarities usually ensure you won't be surprised or disappointed when you make the decision to visit. Then there are usually a few things that can make the experience better or worst and these variables are usually center around the restaurant's management. This particular location is no different from that perspective, and from my experience here it's oblivious they do a lot of things right. The multiple televisions here ensures you'll find something that caters to your interest when it comes to sports. Of course you have to understand the local favorites will always rule, so depending on the time of year you can expect to see the house full of Red Sox fans, Patriots fans and of course anything related to UCONN, but since this area is so demographically diverse there will always be a fair share of Yankee and Giant fans amongst the loyal crowds pounding beers and chomping on their favorite wing choices. Of course with so many screens it's likely there will be plenty of NBA, NHL or golf options as well as Association football, more commonly known as soccer. I don't really care who's playing since I'm not a local and watching the fans can be just as entertaining as what's being broadcasted, I'm here for the food and beer. I like my beers cold and my food hot so this is the perfect venue for that. It doesn't get much beer than an ice cold Dos Equis with a fresh cut lime on draft with something covered in BWW's Mango Habanero Sauce, combine that with great service and plenty of options for seating there's really very few places that can compete on game day which is pretty much every day of the week. read more

Was here late on Saturday to hang out with a couple of friends. I haven't been here since they revamped their menu. They have a $9 beer pitcher special, $5 for a smaller pitcher. Got a couple of appetizers and 2 orders of wings. Food is decent. Queso and nacho chips was better than expected. You can have a scoop of chili added for an additional $1, made the queso extra salty. not worth it in my opinion. My favorite wing it place and thanks to my girlfriend who introduced me to "BWW". I never expected this place to have so many options of wing flavors, rightly named "Buffalo Wild Wings"! My favorite to die for flavor is the Thai curry, this is a total winner to reboot my tastebuds. I have also tried the traditional buffalo sauce in mild and hot, garlic... meh... dint like anything other than Thai curry. The traditional wings which comes with bone in is my style, love it! Its always been consistent on the quality here... fresh and tender! On the other hand I have tried their French fries, fried pickles, beers... Honestly for a vegetarian the menu is tough other than the appetizers... Their weekly specials are great too. Tuesdays the wings are half off! Recently came here for a happy hour enjoying in wings, apps and cocktails. We ordered mixed drinks on the menu along with chili con queso along with southwest loaded chips. Both apps were just there to fill you up nothing really standing out. You have cheese, chili and chips something to chomp on while watching the many games on the wall of the restaurant. The southwest chips were again cheese and Pico de Gallo. Out of all the other apps on the happy hour menu those were probably the biggest ones to share. The thing that irked me about my visit was the service. The bartender was more into conversing with the group of men on the other side of the bar than pay attention to his other guest. While my friend had arrived we had ordered drinks. I ordered a Jack and Coke and when he made it it was filled to the brim. When he served it, it had spilled over but rather than clean up his mess he moved on. We had to ask a passing waitress for napkins to clean up the mess that he made. When we ordered I had asked about another app on the happy hour menu and what it consist of before ordering and having misheard he put the order in and went back to the group because he was "done" serving us thinking his coworkers would bring the food to us. Luckily we were able to wave him over and was able to ask our question along with ordering what we actually wanted. My first venture to BWW. Excited to have the Traditional wings with Mild sauce. How can a Wing Sports Bar screw up wings!! For sure they were precooked as we ordered and the wings appeared in about 3 minutes. And, lukewarm to boot! Server made not attempt to rectify. This hands down is the go to place for watching any sports event. There are TV's everywhere, and I like that they have a list of what game is on what TV, so you know where to sit. The bar and restaurant is consistent with the food and drinks, however they do change the menu up every now and then. I love that I actually can get all drummies instead of those hard to eat little wings. There are so many places that will not do this? They have a great selection of beers and keep switching them out so you can try a new seasonal ale. The wine is non existent, but seriously who watches a football game and drinks wine? A much-trafficked "bdubbs," where the seats are well worn in and there's a perfect science to the recipes and pamphlets on the table. The front dining room has huge TVs (instead of many little ones), and the waitresses are bubbly and perfectly attentive. As a frequent guest, with reasonable expectations, I cannot imagine visiting this establishment anytime soon. Having an order delivered and not meeting one's liking is understandable. A server with the common sense to recognize and rectify such occurrence should be commended. In this instance, the server was audibly condoned for removing undercooked chicken from the bill, after the guests had insisted on paying fully. A manager with the smallest amount of couth or a modicum of hospitality would be respectful, not hostile. In the very least, an effort to speak with his guests would have gone a long way! All in all - BWW is pretty high on my list for local places to get a pint and watch a game, but you'll find me elsewhere if there's not a game on that I really want to watch. As stated above, BWW is great for watching a game. I'm convinced that's why people seem to love it so much. The number of TV's is unrivaled (maybe Bobby V's in Windsor Locks as a close second?). The beer selection is above average, the bar is reasonably well stocked, the wait isn't too bad even on busy days, and the bartenders have always been great. The food, however, is less so. I appreciate some of the flavors, but the wings are over $1.00 each when not on sale (they were on sale for $0.60-0.65 during my last visit), and don't even come with veggies or blue cheese for that price. On top of that, the wings are quite small compared to elsewhere. People seem to be willing to pay up though, so I doubt we'll see the prices drop any time soon. read more

The manager for this store is awful. I used my hard earned blazing rewards for 20 boneless wings and fries. And the manager would not let me use it for my order, said that it was "take out only". The manager also would not change the channel to a NBA Playoff game and would rather keep it on a documentary. The waiter was great and food was average. Disappointing all around. I've been to much better locations. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and regretted it immediately. The chicken was over cooked and way too spicy (they usually ask if you want mild, Med, or hot buffalo). It also came out completely soaked in the buffalo sauce so even the lettuce could not be salvaged. It had no blue cheese crumbles like the menu claimed and the tomatoes were completely frozen. I ate two bites and left it. The waitress didn't notice or comment on my fully uneaten salad. My fiancé was brought the wrong flavor boneless wings which were also very dry. There is a Sonic in the next lot, a place I've had once before and liked, so I should have insisted. The food was too pricey, too oily, too fried, and too huge to be considered a one person portion. Took our youngest son out for dinner and to see part of a basketball game that was not on our tv. Buffalo Wild Wings is a great place to watch game and enjoy some food. Plenty of tvs and the manager was able to put the game on the tv closest to us do our son could watch. It was a wing promo night on a Tue. So we grabbed some for the table . We got one of there special favors which is the rising sun sauce. The wings were well done and coated well in this sticky sesame , orange, chili and honey sauce. Just the right amount of heat. I would definitely order this flavor again . We also got the Parmesan garlic. These wings were also well cooked and coated with sauce . Almost a little too much. Since my wife and I are on kind of a health kick lately, we made this a cheat night, with the wings and tried to grab some " heather " apps also. She ordered the Garden Crasher which had warm pita chips, kalamata olives, fresh carrots, celery, red peppers and cucumbers. It was really light tasting . The tzatziki sauce with the yogurt, cucumber and a touch of dill was spot on. I ended up ordering the street tacos, which had garlic grilled chicken , Pico de gallo , their southwest ranch sauce and fresh Cilantro. These were small snack size, but 3 was the perfect amount . Manchester CT. The waitstaff is absolutely the nicest people I have ever interacted with. I go at least once weekly for years and have never had a bad experience with the wait staff. However, I have had 9 out of 10 bad experiences with the kitchen. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have had mistakes on my food. 9 out of 10 orders are messed up. However the wait staff had genuinely helped every time, apologetically, and kindly fixed my order.
