Unfortunately, it was a really disappointing visit. We stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes with no greeting or acknowledgment. Eventually, we seated ourselves and waited another 10-15 minutes, and still and no one came over, no check-in, nothing. We even tried to make eye contact and get someone's attention, but it felt like we were being completely ignored. What made it even more concerning was that another couple came in as we were walking out and was immediately helped. As a group of people of color, that didn't sit right with us at all. I'm not one to jump to conclusions, but the experience didn't feel welcoming, and that's something I can't overlook. Hopefully this was an off moment, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return.

It's been a few months and we came back tonight, the bartender was SOOOOOOOOO rude. She was rude to two guests before us, and then rude to us as well. I'm in the service industry for 10+ years and never in my life experienced service like this, this actually topped the last decade of my life in the service industry. It actually ruined the night for our group and many other groups around us. Talk about a "crash out".... She must've been having a terrible day personally and took it out on us. I'll never spend my money at this bar again. Rude bartenders with a power trip being rude to us and many customers around us. They also say they need to can your ID for a random membership yet they had no track record of my ID from the many previous times they've been here. It's sketchy and makes no sense. This bar has potential, but not with the extremely rude bartenders running this, ruining everyone's buzz.

I don't eat sushi or a lot of the menu items, but the Salmon I had was the best that I have ever had. Of course, my wife had the Lobster, probably the most expensive item on the menu. Others had the Steak and most had things that I don't even know what was in it... even after reading the menu. My point is the food was highly enjoyed by everyone, especially those who normally eat this type of cuisine. The drinks are amazing and what a variety!!! Japanese whisky and a huge wine list. PLUS, amazing sake and Japanese beer. P.s. They also have domestic and NA beer which was great since my wife doesn't drink. The service was beyond reproach. Super attentive and very informative. I have no point of reference about cost to compare too other than to say our drinks (many many drinks) was far more than the food. It was expensive, but for 8 of us, that was to be expected. The restaurant was larger than it looks, very comfortable, relaxing, and accommodating. Highly Recommended even if this isn't your normal cuisine.
