Stopped in to watch the Cubs game while I was in town for work. Had a couple beers and brisket chili. First I ordered the dirty blond which I thought was great. Second, I ordered the TP IPA......it was underwhelming for sure. I did discover they have a decent bourbon selection here. My experience on my second visit was tainted by poor service. Food took forever to come out, and I had to ask for it 20 minutes after we ordered. Waitress mumbled something about "putting in the order" and it took another 10-15 minutes for it to come out. The appetizer never showed up, so I asked and she evidently didn't put it in either. We got the appetizer as we finished our entrees. I asked for a to-go box and it never came. She came back and asked if we needed anything else... SMH... yes, a to-go box and the check. She had completely forgotten about the to-go box. It took another 20 minutes to get the box. I think we were there two hours! As for the food, it was fine. I love their chili. She had a flatbread and it was good. Billionaire bacon could be a bit crispier. We think she brought the wrong beer- supposed to be a blond and tasted and looked like IPA. Quick and friendly service! My friend recommended the spicy thai chili bone-in breaded wings and they were very yummy. They weren't very spicy and were super saucy, but crispy at the same time. Here I am fan girl-ing about TP again. The one reason we always need to stop by. We ordered our go-to sirloin and/or NY strip steak. The service here is ok but not as friendly as the other ones we've been to. I've visited over half a dozen or so Twin Peaks locations in the DFW metroplex over the past several years. I'm recently visiting the area again staying over near Irving. This afternoon I decided to drive over near I-35 W to go to Bucces. The world's greatest travel center. Upon exiting Bucces I looked over and noticed the Twin Peaks location on the otherside of the Freeway. I love Twin Peaks and had been wanting to visit a location on this trip that was new to me. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I landed on sitting at the patio bar and honestly I couldn't have made a better decision. My bartender Kayden was like a breath of fresh air. She conducts her business like an absolute professional. She is definitely a master behind the bar and commands the area with great awareness. She didn't believe me but she's the best I've seen in DFW. I do know what the brand wants in their FOH staff with the company. Kayden is an excellent brand ambassador for sure. This place is fairly new. Been here a couple times now. We had a deal for free chips and queso. We came during happy hour so we got a few discounted appetizers. Most everything is pretty salty. Fried pickles, chips. Beef taco. The top two items I tried today would be the mashed potatoes from the chicken fried chicken and the fries from the cheese steak my boyfriend had. The chicken fried chicken is better than the cheese steak per my boyfriend. He didn't recommend it due to the bread texture. He had a beer as well. Total probably about $50 with tip. Weather was amazing and it was nice to enjoy it half inside and half outside. They had a fire thing going which was cool and games like connect four. I have been a patron of this establishment for 6 months with no issue. On my last visit I had no more or less drinks than any other visit. I ordered wings to go that I did not receive. I continued conversation with another patron. Was ignored by staff for 1 hour then told by manager that I was not allowed more drinks. Another travel stop! Normally I wouldn't stop at one of these chain restaurants but it's across the street from my hotel and I didn't feel like driving anywhere. It's a little slow to night so the volume inside is low to moderate. The food and beer pairings are perfect!! But the best part is the service! Shae is the best waitress! This location is pretty consistent with the kitchen. The bar is rather slow. It takes them too long to get a drafted beer to your table. I live the ambiance at this location. There are games to keep you engaged. The waitresses are either all in or not. There is one who is always rude, but I have had more great experiences with other servers than with this consistently rude one. All in all, the drink specials are worth coming back again and again. This used to be one of my favorite locations. But now it's the worst experience I have ever had. SLOW service, ordered a mocktail, got a bottle of tonic water, because that's what the "manager" said they had. SLOW FOOD. And then when the food did come out, four grilled chickens and a burger, the only flatbread wasn't out, and everyone was finished and it still never came. I think that the company makes a point that the waitresses try everything so that they can recommend things. They always have sports on but it is not in your face like other sports bars. Meh, I didn't realize I'd be walking into a Hooters attired sports bar, my bad. Chili was decent, fish and chips were horrible. The chili had good flavor with onions and cheese. The fish was small, dry, flavorless and the fries so overly salted (seasoned) that I couldn't finish half of them. I should have sent the fish and chips back but I was into the basketball game on one of the screens. That is until they changed the 3 screens in front of me to TCwho and left it on even after I asked for one of the screens to be changed back. I am a regular customer and in the last couple months I have seen this location go from high standards to absolute crap. The atmosphere is subpar, the food is lukewarm at times and the service is worse than Applebees. I stop by this location every chance on my way home and especially after a long day. Today marks the second time I have been here where I sat down at the bar for 20 minutes having to wait to be acknowledged by the staff. When I am finally noticed it's been and have order something eat it takes well over 30 minute for a simple appetizer. Despite the manager giving it free or discounted I do not come here for hand outs whatsoever. The Last time I came here I waited over an 1 hr for the TurnOvers and waiting 30 more minutes for my bill while the waitress was too busy talking to her "regulars". The girls are too busy gossiping amongst themselves or chatting too long with customers especially with regulars. Numerous times I have seen girls that have finished their shifts who have been cut not in Standard TP uniform walk behind the bar with PJs on. The male manager is way to relaxed and also encourages this behavior as he is normally gossiping with the front entrance girls I have over heard him making racial slurs about Hispanics in the past and I personally am appalled that this is behavior that TP allows from its management team. The only plus side from this location is the female manager Bri, she always checks on customers and it seems like the girls are way more under control. That being said next time I will continue driving to the nearest AppleBees atleast I will get my drinks in under 5mins and food while it is hot. I would give zero stars I could. read more

We ordered our dinner. My husbands food came 8 minutes before anyone else's. He had to ask where our food was. Then the rest came. We had a flat bread Hawaii-5-0 style. We asked to hold the hot honey, but it came with it on so it was a bit spicy. Would not likely order again. I ordered the chicken and shrimp with sweet potato fries. The chicken was very tough, my husband thought it tasted freezer burnt. The shrimp were good. The fries were cold. My husbands ribs were ok. Very charred. The Mac and cheese was awful, lacked cheese and tasted like noodles with jalapeño', the coleslaw had so much jalapeños no one cared for it. I doubt we will come for dinner again but maybe late night drinks and appetizers or to watch a sporting event. No one ate their food. Not the best first experience. read more

Do not go to this location on Monday. The managers understaff at night on the weekdays. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get food. We tried to talk to the manager and then she disappeared. There were only two waitresses on our side and each one of them have 6 to 7 tables. Our server was on her first day and she had no help whatsoever. To put this in perspective this is near Fort Worth in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The Mavericks were playing, the World Series was on, and it was Monday Night Football, oh, and there was some hockey on. But for some reason, the managers didn't think they were gonna be busy not to have their restaurant staffed. Absolutely ridiculous. For a chain restaurant, Twin Peaks has some pretty good food. They have a large menu with plenty of options from appetizers to main courses. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and my buddy ordered the chicken fried steak. We both were pleased with our meals. The service was great as well. Our server was very attentive and our food was delivered to our table quickly after we ordered. We actually stopped by to watch some SNF, and there were a TON of TV's so we didn't miss a play! This location is right by my apartment complex. I often meet a friend for lunch and a beer. They have great daily specials and their food is decent for a chain. The staff is friendly and attentive even when I am a single female at the bar grabbing a quick beer before heading home. At other Twin Peaks I have experienced being ignored by the bartenders. I will point out I think it's hilarious when my significant other is there before I arrive and how the body language of the bartenders changes and his service changes just slightly.
