I have placed two online pick up orders from here in the last two weeks. Although both orders have been correct, I have had to wait 15 minutes past the pick up time for my order to be ready. While waiting inside for my orders I have been witness to the chaos in the lobby & dining area & lack of professionalism. Numerous employees were heard cussing & complaining about being at work. Other customers were waiting in the lobby up to 5 minutes without being addressed by employees walking by. When I picked up my first online order, employees made an announcement to a lobby full of people waiting to dine in that they were out of up to 5 different food items as well as all sodas so the majority of people waiting left. The only reason I've gone back is the Maple Chipotle wing sauce which is a great flavor. I always order extra sauce since they usually don't toss & cover the wings well. read more

I stood there and waited for my to-go order the other day... in the lobby you can see right in the kitchen, and the girls were playing on their phone leaned up against the wall like they had no orders to fulfill I gave them a terrible stink eye as of saying, what the hell! After getting my order and getting a check for a small amount and handing a large bill, I asked if I want to change I replied yes, two of which I did not get all my change back I was shorted $.2020, again I don't care but I was still shorted and expected to get a 100% tip today If the bill is $10.80 and I had a 20 and the server has the audacity to ask me if I want change back? Since when do we give nine dollar tips on a $10 bill? this place is an entire travesty from the help to the management. The food not so good. The buffalo wings tasted like chicken tenders and we're all shriveled up. We waited an hour for our food. Zero stars, if possible. Fanily of four. Came in, hostess gave us menus and pointed us to the table. Didnt bother walking us. No biggie, but wow. Ordered 4 meals. 2 of our side orders of Fries came out first, both cold. Then one order of boneless wings, cold. Followed by a hard, cold chicken sandwich. After my daughter and i finished our sandwich. Her side of onion rings came out. Then, my son gets his traditional wings, cold. My wife finally gets her side salad. I asked him several times in passing, what about the rest of the food??? We wouldve liked to eat together as a family vs watching each other eat, one... by... one... I would give this restaurant zero stars if possible! Literally the worst dining out experience I have ever had! The restaurant is dirty, the service is AWFUL and management could care less. I wish I had read the prior reviews before eating here, but my son wanted wings and we have never had a bad experience at other BWW restaurants so we stopped at the Hickory location on our drive home to Winston-Salem (which by the way, that location is AMAZING and understands the value of customer service). Ordered takeout from their website and it was prepared promptly in the estimated time frame. I got the 20 wings (4 sauces) and fries. The fries were great, wings tasted good, but the sauce on the wings was very minimal and one section they forgot to put anything on. I've given this joint four tries since covid, each time more disappointing than the previous. Where other restaurants have gotten progressively better since the great pandemic, this establishment has only gone deeper down the drain. I used to come here all the time back in the twenty-teens and greatly enjoyed the food and service, however, since the dining room opened back up after covid I haven't gotten a correct drink order, timely service or hot food once. Do not spend your money or time here, there are plenty of other sports bars in Hickory that are more than capable of delivering infinitely better service and hot food. If your determined to dine at a Buffalo Wild Wings, take the extra half hour to drive to the Morganton location, the extra time on the road will be made up by the swift service and quality of food. read more

Literally the worst experience we have ever had at a Buffalo Wild Wings. We stopped in for lunch during our road trip home. We should have known when the parking lot was empty that our visit was going to less than stellar. We had a server who was new but very poorly trained. One person in our party waited for 20 min for a beer from the bar. We had to ask for everything and had to ask for our server to check on our food and drinks. It took us an hour to get our food in a fairly empty restaurant. And once we got our food, it didn't improve our experience. Burger was overcooked. Two boneless wing entrees came out as one, they had to share a plate and the wing sauce labels were wrong. Fries were cold. It was food and if we were not so hungry, we would have left. When she brought out the wings, we had to clarify which wing sauce was on the wings. They were all mixed together although there were two flavors. My friend found out the hard way which one was the Wild sauce. It was a terrible experience and we will not be returning ever and neither should you. Train your staff, the manager should be visible and actually working, and the kitchen needs help with cooking food. read more

Arrived 15 minutes after opening - long story short, was there for 90 minutes. One entree arrived, 10 minutes later our appetizer was brought out about 20 minutes two more entrees arrived and then in about 15 minutes the last entree was brought ( we all ordered boneless wing lunch specials) Also was given plastic utensils and was told all the regular utensils were dirty (we arrived 15 minutes after they opened and was the 3rd party to be seated). First off, the food wasn't half bad......had it been served out quicker and got to enjoy it while it was warm, but by the time we received it after waiting for nearly 30 minutes with literally 2 other customers in the entire building it would have definitely been better. On that note as well, the service is pretty bad. The bartender at the time was the only one doing anything, checking in on us, even brought us our food while our original waitress was mo where to be seen until well after we got our food and drinks refilled. So 2 stars granted for the bar tender and the cook, because they did their part. The rest of the staff and the management, no where to be seen but sitting down on their "breaks" or gossiping and laughing while on their phones. Just not the same BDubs that is used to be years ago. We came back after our first really bad experience we're we was set and waited 10 mins with three small Kids to be greeted while server after server walked by us we Told the manager she apologized . Today a year later we decided to give it another go. We walked in was told 15 mins to wait for fieach guest that came in after us was told a diff time which was odd they were so slow. If I could leave 1/2 a star, I would. My husband had to send his boneless wings back because they were nothing but fried breading. At the end of the meal, we were charged TWICE for his meal (we were assured this would be taken off at the end of the shift, it was not) and charged .80 for their "sample" flavors and a handful of fries. Today we came for Veterans Day expecting them to be more prepared but we got there and no one came to the front for about 15 minutes until someone went and told a staff member that there was around 8-10 people waiting up front to be sat. I'm not sure how you can be called "Buffalo Wild WINGS" but run out of wings?? No traditional wings cause they "ran out" so there was only boneless. Then on top of that they're not serving everything on the menu. They have a "LIMITED MENU" which consist of two burgers, a wrap, a few appetizers, some sides, and wings (minus traditional wings). Food was better this time especially with the fried pickles. Last time they were just too salty. We also order the street tacos which wasn't in the picture but they were really salty. We were also disappointed that we couldn't order our usual liquid cocaine shots due to the bar not having one of the liquor to mix. So we got patron instead. Was just at this location with my husband and his little brother. Our servers name was Leo. He did an amazing job. He was very polite, quick, and super professional. I enjoyed my experience there. My husband and I will DEFINITELY be eating there again. The food was amazing and came out super quick. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The restaurant was super clean and they even asked us if we wanted more sides. Server definitely deserves a raise! Dining was less than half full, there were 5 different servers working we saw. The table we were given was dirty and greasy. We had to ask for a towel to clean the table. Once the server took our order and brought our drinks they didn't return unless we stopped them. The first time was to ask for a replacement drink for the kids meal because the syrup was out in the clear soda, they acted like we were bothering them. It took 15 minutes to get a replacement kids drink. Our food came out one item at a time and not all of it even ever arrived. The appetizer came out five minutes after an order of wings. The kids meal finally came out 30 minutes after the wings. At one point, a drink spilled and we had to stop the server for a towel. They gave us about 15 napkins and walked away (no offer to help clean or even replace drink) and didn't return until they told us to pay using the QR code - which requires giving our name and opting in to get text messages. The food is mediocre for a chain. The locations in Charlotte far surpass this one. The service is lacking. They'll say they're short stranded however they'll have everyone chilling in the back talking, and the host is worthless. The management here gives zero effort to make things right. My wings were cold, and still partially frozen. My wrap was wrong and they did absolutely nothing to remedy it. I didn't tip because I tip based on service. The server only had myself and visibly saw my water was empty. From the start she acted like I was an inconvenience. I am literally the easiest customer ever. read more

We arrived around 11:00 p.m. The place was packed but with no lines. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating which gives it a nice private vibe. We ordered a large order of boneless wings, traditional wings, and 2 large fries. The food came out in 15-20 minutes. Some of the food was hot and fresh as others were cold. Been to close to 100 BWW over the last 10 years or so. This one was nice. I'm writing a review because I ordered the street tacos and asked for the sauces on the side and extra cilantro. I know it's not particularly worthy of huge praise but I gotta say they were prepared with care and exactly as I had asked. My red wine was Josh and freshly opened which is always welcome. I can't say how many times I've requested this order at other BWW's and received something else. I asked for 2 games to be put on and boom, there they were. Sometimes it's just nice to get what you ask fir and I've unfortunately not experienced that in every BWW. Nice bartender and manager to boot. read more

The service was slow everyone in the restaurant had to get there own napkins and refills if possible.the food all came out sporadically. Wings are good but Service leaves much to be desired. Several of us were out viewing the fall leaves and decided to give the Buffalo Wild Wings in Hickory a try. Turned out to be a mistake. Granted the wings were good and everyone got what they ordered be they traditional or boneless, parmeasan galic or medium sauce and they were good. Problem came with everything else. For those who ordered Sweet Tea, it wasn't. Not sure what the Blue Cheese Dressing was supposed to be but it was not Blue Cheese. One of our party asked for a to go box and when the boxes were brought over by the server, the server volunteered that she would go get a bag to put them into. We waited and finally ended up walking our of the restaurant with an armful. Ambiance is typical sports bar but a bit on the loud side. While the wings are good, everything else needs work so I can not recommend to anyone at this time. Will give them another shot in a couple of months to see if there is any improvement. read more
