Looking for some place for my ladies group to meet for lunch. Considered BWW, but passing. This used to be one of my go to places. However, since Sean, the former manager isn't there anymore, it is totally hit and miss. The food arrives lukewarm most times, the flavor just isn't there anymore. My son and daughter in law got wings in different levels of heat, not my style, LOL. I got the Mac N Cheese Smashed Burger. I have leftovers My burger was delicious. Went in after a day of traveling on Dec. 7th, 2025. Nice atmosphere yet, terrible service. We ordered mozzarella sticks to start. Was provided by the manger on shift wearing a burgundy shirt. The marinara was dried out as if we were given tomato paste. Ordered another for the same story. They were out of the brown sugar heat sauce and our server Jarek aka..JT came over looking highly nonchalant just stating they were out. Would have been nice to be given a menu to check something else out so I picked a random flavor. Truth be told, Jarek was nonchalant the entire service. Consistently he walked by us without asking if we needed anything or even how everything was. Working hospitality myself FOH and BOH, it's easy to see how one person/ personality can ruin or make the entire experience. It was just unfortunate we had Jarek. However, I would like to shout out the server who was wearing a grey Seattle Seahawks jersey #11 with the name Smith written on the back, with a tattoo sleeve on the left arm. He was highly attentive to his tables, and even one of Jared's tables as he never went to check on them either I observed. I told my company I wish we had him as it seems he cares about his job unlike Jarek. Even the bartender, a younger blonde woman with tattoos closer to the shoulders seemed attentive to her guest as well. Cheers to those two for sure. read more

Ordered take out boneless wings recently. We have always been happy with BWW, but recently moved here and decided to try them. The chicken was tiny. Looked like popcorn nuggets that were the bottom of the batch, and it was $28. I was shocked. Requested a refund and am still waiting on the refund. I was told it would be 5 business days. It is now 19 days later, three managers have said they would check on it, with no luck! Very poor customer service for a long time customer who has purchased gift cards and dined in many times. The worst part is that we still haven't received an apology. read more

Great ambiance, one of the busiest b'dubs I've visited in awhile. Wings are best I've had, lots of sauce.

First table seated at was disgusting, table did not appear to be washed. If they did wash it some one needs more training or let go. Got new table freshly washed and soaking wet. Not necessarily a BWW fan, but it's a good place to watch football. The place was slammed and we were lucky to score a good seat in the bar to watch the Griz and Bobcats playoff games on side by side big screen TVs. The large and rowdy crowd in the bar was a great mix of both teams' fans. We had traditional Buffalo wings and a Blue Cheese Burger. Split both. The food was average to good, but I have to commend the place for showcasing both games since neither were televised on normal cable or local TV. The fourth star was earned by providing Montana football fans with a venue to eat, drink, and cheer both teams. The Cats & Griz both won, so we will be back next Saturday to cheer them on. This place also serves Cold Smoke draft beer... a big plus in my beer book (a literary tribute to carbonated quality... and definitely not on my wife's reading list) . read more

I am not a fan of BWW but our sons are obsessed with it. We are in town and decided to order ours to go and when they brought them back to our hotel I was expecting maybe warm-ish low quality food. This was no the case at all!! The boneless and bone in wings were hot and fresh. The bone in were so hot we had to let them cool off for a bit before eating and the honey bbq tasted perfect. The fries were fresh and not not soggy at all. They had packed lots of celery and carrots and they were nice and chilled along with the ranch and blue cheese. We stayed at a hotel up the street and I suggest this BWW location if you are needing to order some nice fresh food after being on the road. If I were a local I would eat here and watch games for sure. read more

We were in the Helena Buffalo Wild Wings tonight with our kiddos and had the best experience we have had. Our waitress Ami was absolutely amazing! She checked on us often and was every interactive with the kids. She even got our son to eat his food lol . She had us rolling laughing with her interactions. read more

Ordered online for take-out. Food was ready when promised and service at the front door was quick to help us retrieve it and they double-checked the order so we did not feel the need to do the same. Unfortunately of the five wing flavors that were ordered one was incorrect. A drink was also ordered, and charged, but was not provided. These errors were not noticed by the person picking up the order and only realized once the food was at home. No attempt was made to contact BWW to resolve these mistakes. The food we received was hot and fresh, the wings were sauced appropriately and there was no shortage of ranch for dipping. Prices are getting high, but that's happening everywhere at the moment. If you want wings with a wide variety of sizes, it's hard to beat BWW. The staff we interacted with were friendly unfortunately the experience is proof that you should double-check a to-go order yourself before heading out the door. read more

I have never been enamored by Buffalo wild wings. If you get any people in there at all you have to shout when you talk to your friends. The food is super cheap. The wings are full of gristle. Back to the old Buffalo Wild Wings. No quality control or customer service. Ordered take out for the family (8 people) and picked it up. Get home to find one persons complete order was not in the bag. Called, then Drove back across town to pick up missing item. When I got home and kids all got their food I opened my box to find that they had put the wrong sauce on my traditional wings and had not substituted tots for fries as ordered. It had been an hour since originally picking up order, so had to microwave to get food an edible temperature. Don't bother with take out unless you're ok with them just throwing it hat they feel like in a box for you. If you done in, be prepared to fight to get a servers attention and wait for them to make the corrections. They can't get it right when you specifically enter the orders on a computer, don't count on it being right jotting it down on their notepads. read more

Upon our visit we were greeted by our server. He was very prompt in taking our drink order. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks. At which point we then ordered food. It took another 40 minutes for our food, and our appetizer was brought out with our meals. My chicken tenders and fries were served cold. And then when I asked to have them reheated, that took another 20. Our server brought us our tickets to pay before I got my food. Oh it was a terrible experience. Had a horrible experience here this past weekend. We've had bad experiences in the past and I don't know why we keep giving this place a second chance. But after the 3rd second chance, we are done with this place! We came in on a Friday evening. The place did not look that busy. We waited over an hour for our food only for 5/6th of it to arrive. One of our guests never got his food. We had to flag the server down to let her know as she never checked on us to see how the food was. It took another half hour for this person to finally get their dinner. So it took 1.5 hours from ordering to getting everyone's food. My burger came out COLD. I sent it back and had to wait 20 minutes to get a new burger. When the re-fired burger came out, none of the things I requested the first time were on there. I asked for potato wedges and got cold fries. After taking 2 bites of this salt-lick of a burger, I conceded and threw up the white flag. I gave up. The server took my dinner without even acknowledging the fact that I had only taken 2 bites of this new burger and never asked what was wrong with it. The manager on duty came out to speak to us and told us that because there were only 2 people in the kitchen, there was nothing she could do and her "it is what it is" attitude did not sit well with us. Who only staffs 2 people in the kitchen on a Friday night?? We will NEVER go back to this location. I can win at 10:00 pm to place a carry out order and the first person said to wait at the front counter and then walked away. The next person said I had to order from the bar. I went to the bar and sat down and waited for a bar tender. The manager on duty then walked behind the bar and walked right past. After 10 minutes the bar tender came into the bar and ignored me to chit chat with some guys at the end of the bar. I then left went to my car and called. They answered and I ordered that way. Then when I came back in I was once again ignored by the bar tender for a minute or two and then waited another 10 minutes after for my order after waiting 15 minutes in my car. Even though this is a box restaurant, I still actually like it quite a bit. We always get great service, and while the place can be noisy on game day, the booths are large enough to give you some space away from loudmouth sports fans. (We eat in the bar area) I always get wings when I come here, and admittedly, I am not a wing connoisseur - but they have a good assortment of flavors and the wings are not bad. The one thing lacking with the wings is the amount of sauce - they are lightly flavored, I would highly recommend asking for a side of sauce (in your flavor) with your wings. Not much else to say other than expedient service and I find that it's actually relaxing despite everything going on. We always have a good time here. read more

Monday night football. Greeted nicely at the door and proceeded to the bar. A cute female bartender took my order immediately. About ten minutes later came back to check if I wanted to order food. I like that she gave me time. As it turned out, I wasn't. I liked the way she poured the draft beers, ensuring the glass was filled to the brim. My order was taken, Sliders, and came out amazingly hot and quick. The other thing that grabbed attention was the produce. The sliders come with red onion, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce. We had dinner at this restaurant tonight and we were also served by the waitress Gabbie. The service was horrible! After taking our order it took at least half an hour to get our meal. We ordered some buffalo wings and a hamburger, along with a soda. The restaurant was only half-full on this Sunday night. It took about 20 minutes just to get the soda. Someone else brought our meals and we only saw Gabbie once in the hour we were there. Rarely did anyone check to see if we needed anything else, or a refill. Gabbie just brought the bill at the end, and did not even ask if you wanted any dessert. The food was mediocre in quality. I would not recommend going to this restaurant unless the food and service improve greatly. read more

Several times my husband and I have gone in this place. We've been seated only to wait several minutes for any service. When I have gone to the bar to wait for a to go-- much different story. Bartenders are top notch. The wait staff is seriously lacking in attention. My husband tried again on Nov 17 --solo--and was seated and then completely ignored for 10 minutes. Two young families came in after him and were waited on right away. Totally blown off, he left. He said that as he was leaving the two employees at the entrance were so involved with their own scene, they ignored him again. This place is Not for anyone over 50. read more

So my 3 star is mainly because a waitress spilled my water on the floor and on me (my pants) which wasn't a problem really, accidents happen, but I did expect them to offer something taken off the bill which didn't happen. When a restaurant's namesake is a particular dish you'd think they'd strive to get it right, being their supposed area of expertise and all. Let me start by saying that even though I consider myself a hot wing connoisseur, I am not a wing snob. Good wings are good wings after all. There are a few basic properties most of us agree makes a decent hot wing: a meaty wing, a tasty sauce, and a crispy exterior. If any one of these items is done incorrectly then forget it. Our wings come out of the kitchen soft and soggy. Blechhh! This is particularly unforgiveable because the restaurant was virtually empty when my friend and I dined there.
