Place is a little dark for me, but that is the only thing I wish was a little different. Speaking of different - a sushi sports bar? We got served pretty quickly, and our server did check on us after about 5 minutes from serving. Then we waited and waited, and WAITED until another server happened by-so I asked for the bill and boxes- not our red head server (there are two red heads, I'm referring to the larger one- and this isn't about size, I'm a pudge too). Between the pathetic service, and disappointing menu, and the fact that the bathroom also smelled of septic backup, we won't be back. It's not for us.

They were very small size (like appetizer to me) and all it had was the steak and melted cheese. Lettuce and avocado would have gave these some flavor. I asked for a side of beer cheese with the tortilla chips since I could have salsa. I was upcharged $3. Very confusing because bill said it was taken off then it was added back on at the bottom of the bill?! They have a bar area that is separate from the rest of the restaurant. They have a lot of seating with a mix of tables and booths. Bill was $70 for 2 tall beers, 1 well drink, 1 appetizer, burger and tacos. Plus tip was almost $90. Disappointing and not worth the money. Many other places locally that you get more food and drinks for the money.

The lettuce was fresh, the jalapeno ranch was tasty. I had no complaints putting the whole thing away for lunch. Let me start with that we have been to this location a number of times and normally have a good…read moreexperience. I hope that yesterday was an anomoly but I feel needs to be addressed. Our party of 6 arrived about 130 pm. The outdoor seating area was open and bustling. The indoor space was less than half full and we had no wait to get a seat except that no one was at the hostess station. The bartender did greet us and another group relatively quickly but this was the only thing that was quick this visit. Without going into great detail, we were seated for about 10 minutes before a waitress came to the table. We ordered drinks and it took almost 20 minutes for them to start to arrive and 30 minutes to get all 6 drinks. It took over an hour to get food and the entire visit was almost 2 1/2 hours. Mind you this is an upscale bar not a multicourse fine dining establishment. We were told that they were understaffed due to people not showing up but from what I could see they had 2 servers and a bar tender for about 15 active tables. Our waitress, while nice, was inattentive, often leaving us with empty drinks. The food was as good as we have come to expect as were the drinks when we could get them. I will say the chicken tenders my son ordered were over cooked but still tasty. Normally, I would rate this location as 4 stars but not this trip. Again, I hope this was just an off day but service like this again will result in losing our business going forward.
