This review is for Evan, one of the management members. Evan has the best customer service out of anyone I've encountered. After a mishap regarding our delivery order (which Evan was not at fault), Evan went above and beyond to communicate with us thoroughly and make sure that we were taken care of. He followed through on everything and we were blown away by his professionalism, attentiveness, and care for customers. He did not even expect a review in return for his outstanding attitude/actions, but I am doing it because he seriously deserves the recognition from management and everyone should look up to him for excellent customer service. read more

Tonight my boyfriend and I went out for a date because we were craving wings. I arrive we seat ourselves no biggie. My waitress was very not customer friendly. We both requested an alcoholic beverage. They had neither alcohol to make the drink. Half of the beer to choose from is out. Employees don't necessarily look welcoming nor were they. The only person who was attentive was a young waiter on the main floor. We were in the bar area. Also the food was horrible we ate two wings each. Onion rings were the only decent thing. Very disappointing and dead. Sauce does not cover over fried food. Will not be back. read more

The service at this location is consistently not good, but the food at any Buffalo Wild Wings never disappoints which is why I've given 3 stars. Some things to note, most BWW restaurants have wing specials on Tuesday & Thursday nights, this location does not have any of those specials. Do not expect much from your waiter. Sadly, I must update my review. This place has fallen so far from where it once was....... I love BDubs and it is becoming very difficult to find one that actually has decent service. I give this place a 2 star solely for the TVs and sports programming. The biggest problem we have seen in the last few trips is that the bartender only talks and does not check the tickets for the rest of the restaurant. So if you are not sitting at the bar, you will wait a while for your drink. I hope the acquisition by Arby's helps or I may have to stop my love affair with Buffalo Wild Wings...... read more

I just wanted to grab a seat at the bar but was told I couldn't, and that there was a 35-45 minute wait. Soooooo wait, when do you have to make a reservation to sit at a bar?!? We stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings on our way back to Wake County. We expected a 30_45 minute wait, but the wait became 2 1/2 hours. The staff said that we had an unexpected large party. I noticed that the large party had paid for their bill and left and still no food. It was guy and his children there who had been waiting longer than me. It is absolutely appalling that the managerial team wanted to only compensate 50% off the check after some mix up on their behalf. Others ordered after me and got their order before me. I didn't have a complicated order, but poor kitchen management made this visit terrible. The managerial team should have comp the meal and gave a gift card for further visit. I came in tonight at exactly 12:09, I was greeted by an African American gentleman and was told to wait to be seated. I waited for about 10 mins to be seated, upon being seated we overheard a waiter and the gentlemen arguing about The manager letting us in to dine. I asked the gentlemen that sat us what time they closed and he said we close at 1:00am but everything is suppose to be shut down by 12:30. Then the waiter comes to the table telling us and I quote "the only thing we have to eat is wings so if you know what you want order now" then he proceeded to let us know that they weren't serving boneless wings and that they had been out for the last 6hours. I had never felt like I was being neglected service in my life until tonight. His attitude and body language were outrageously rude and definitely not customer worthy. Big fan of BWW, but a big NO to this particular one. Slow service when only a couple tables were seated. I tried to ask for help from a different server when we hadn't spotted ours in 20 minutes, only to hear that we could only be helped by our original server. Didn't even say they'd call or look for them, just left. Really? Hard, overcooked wings and no "extra wet" option that other BWW locations definitely have. No napkins, silverware, or drink refills until long after our food came out. AND the order came out wrong - thankfully they gave it to us on the house. At least it was nice and quiet inside.... but it's not hard to see why. read more

All of the staff is friendly and make you feel like they are happy to help you. We just wanted wings from a place nearby. In the past dining in the restaurant was a poor experience due to the service so we tried carry out! Ordered 18 wings and received 14. Are you serious? They mention on the menu that you'll receive approximately 18 wings assuming that they portion the food by weight and all, but come on...an absence of 4 is the equivalent of an entire order missing and also brings the cost to almost $1.50 a wing which is absurd. read more

Placed an online order for pickup at 9:40pm. Arrived shortly after and was not given my food until 15 minutes later. 3 other patrons came in after me and received their orders before mine was ready. When I finally got my order, the traditional wings I ordered were barely sauced. The chocolate sauce I requested for my cheesecake bites turned out to be a side of teriyaki. Probably one of the grossest things I've ever tasted. I was already unimpressed with their customer service, but the crappy food was the final straw. Will not be returning here, to this location or any other Buffalo Wild Wings. If you're looking for a great wing spot in Durham, I'd highly recommend Heavenly Buffaloes. Me and a couple of friends ordered wings and they were unpleasant, stiff, dry, and hard as rock. After biding our time they decided to bring our food out. One of our orders looked like an unseasoned plate of rocks with no sauce on the wings but luckily the other orders had little to no sauce as well. My group and i were very disappointed on the food, we couldn't physically eat the the stale wings, the bland taste of the chicken nachos that they decided to exempt the chicken on, was the cherry on top. Overall this established is a sorry place to get wings, you'll have better luck someplace elsewhere and probably with better service and food. read more

Unfortunately, this place really deserves 1 star. However, i will give two stars because they do have one of the BEST VEGGIE BURGERS. The service .... SUPER SUCKS. So sad. I feel back for the girl, Sierra, who is always working at the front registers at the take out | to go counters. She has to run all the pick ups, to go orders and she answers the phone to take the phone orders. On top of that, she also helps dine in customers They have messed up 4 of my orders. Yesterday was the fourth time we have given this place another chance because we love their wings but the service sucks. The first time a couple of years ago we sat in the bar area. Terrible service. Second time we tried the large area, same service problem. The third time we went we sat down and no one waited on us but people who came in after us were waited on. We left. So like idiots we went back. Sat in bar area. Now we have never been there at busy times. Most tables are empty. This is pre CoVid and post CoVid. Yesterday we waited 10 minutes to order drinks and wisely ordered our food at the same time. After a half hour I got the bartenders attention and she told a server to check on our food. Wings and fries. Server came back without food and when questioned about food she said the fries weren't ready yet. We will never go back. Management needs to wake up and train the staff to be more attentive and the kitchen staff to be able to serve up food a little faster. I would hate to see what it's like during busy times. read more

The service is pretty slow, but this location is usually very busy as well. Spots like this are perfect for people who just want to go get some wings with friends or watch the game on TV. The servers are usually very nice, but honestly, management needs to figure out why the service is consistently slow. Plenty of times I've come here, ordered an appetizer and gotten it the same time as I received my meal. BWW also sometimes has a very suspicious bathroom mop water smell. I feel I've been here enough to give an honest review. Don't go here if you are in a rush as the service speed can be a hit or miss. The food is great and prices aren't bad if you go for lunch or on special days. Beer is cheap, loads of tv playing all sports, and loads of outdoor seating if it's a nice day. I highly recommend this place if you want some tasty food and have enough time to drink a couple brews. Also someone wrote a review complaining about dirty tables around them. If that is really an issue for you please don't go here; For me, I don't care as long as my table is cleaned. read more

If only Yelp would allow you to issue zero stars. We were looking for something quick before I dropped Brit off at the airport. Since we were in the Southpoint vicinity we figured we'd give this place a try. 5 minutes of standing at the counter before being greeted set the tone for the experience. At the counter was a manager who never looked up as he seemed very busy tapping away at the computer. The other female at the counter was too busy on her IPhone to acknowledge anyone. A hostess came from somewhere near the bar area to grab us and seat us. I feel like I have a pretty good tolerance for establishments being in the weeds, but if a place is in the weeds, I expect to see everyone hustling to dig themselves out. Three servers were in one of he stations joking around, the manager was still ignoring the world and the young lady at the counter was still happily tapping away on her iPhone. 10 minutes- and I timed it, and we had not yet been greeted. Not a "hey I'll be right with you," or a "here's some water and I'll be right back". My wife and Inhad reached out boiling point. We got up and walked out. As we were passing the manager I said to the hostess that we were leaving. She seemed honestly puzzled. I informed her that we had not yet been greeted and were in a hurry. She responded that she could get some one over to help us. I replied "too little too late, and the management here should be embarrassed." The manager never looked up. As we got into the parking lot I boiled over and called the restaurant. I looked through the window and saw the manager pick up the phone. I said I was just in the restaurant and wanted to speak the manager. He had the audacity to say to me, "hold on and let me see if he's around," and put me on a 7 minute hold. At which time I said screw it and hung up. If you look at the reviews of every single one of the local restaurants they're all below 3. There's a reason. This place and its sister restaurants are either owners by the same franchisee or corporate sucks that bad. These places should be embarrassed. This has to be one of the worst experiences in my life at a restaurant. I can count one one hand how many times I have walked out of a restaurant. This place is rock-star status....for game watching. The place is littered with TV's and has excellent visability no matter what seat you plop down in. The food is....disappointing. I ordered what I thought would be a slam-dunk hamburger, described as 2 patties with shaved beef and onion rings in the middle- sounds delicious, right? It was truly pathetic with the patties being similar to McDonald's size (thin, measly), and the 'shaved meat' being chunks of nameless beef, all shoved between two factory buns. Bleh. The fries were cold and the coleslaw was straight out of a bag with thin dressing. So...yes, this place is convenient, yes I would go back to watch a game...but there are truly better sportsbars in Durham (Tobacco Road- my fav) that I'll keep as my "go-to" joints. read more

Bdubs in general has some pretty poor reviews on Yelp...although not too sure why. I can't get enough of the wing sauces here. They are just freaking amazing - and I've found NO other place that comes close to them, honestly. I've been to this location once, but I'm impressed by it. The service was great (and during march madness none-the-less). The wings came out in a decent amount of time, were hot, and smothered in sauce. The order was correct the first time it came out - and we had refills coming our way non stop. Props to the waitress. I'll be back! read more

Sad excuse for a restaurant or sports bar, go to Champs instead where the food is actually worth the price. The one star is because the waitress was so nice, that was the only enjoyable part to this visit with my BF. The food is terrible. I got wings, fried pickles and the cheesecake bites and a burger. Literally it was all bad...ok the wings weren't terrible but if your going to charge the prices you do you better have a premium product. The cheese cake bites were like a bad attempt at fair food when the batter has been over used and never changed. Same with the pickles. The burger I ordered to go was a clearly frozen patty and passionless. The Bloody Mary I ordered also tasted like a glass of ketchup....so I couldn't even get liquored up to forget how bad the food was. Seriously whoever owns this place needs to realize that your food quality needs to match your prices. There are so many good places to eat around here for way cheaper, I may add-that this food is an easy pass. read more
