Went back for another lunch with my ex boss....his choice...and this time ordered a hamburger...cold...dry..tasteless. I am just at a loss for words. How a chain this big can do this? Why? I will never go there on my own. And if my ex-boss asks to go there...I will say no and open a cold can of Popeye's spinach and eat it instead....really! How can a multi million dollar business miss the mark SO BAD!? It's like almost ALL large businesses..they get to big and sit on their laurels and gloat while the ship sinks. But like McDonald's...they will always have enough stupid people show up for sub par food...AND overpay for it read more

Its Bdubs, It's like hooters but more guys serving and a few more things on the menu which makes it just a little better then hooters. They do have some good sauce's and the jerk is my favorite here. The burgers are better then at Red Robins. (not saying much) but the food comes out fast and is pretty good. Cheap wings on Tuesdays and Thursdays I think? The legs night is the best though! read more

Horrible experience. Waited 35 minutes for a waitress to come and take our food order after getting our drink order. When she finally returned, she asked how our food was and offered to bring boxes and our bill. WE HAD NEVER EVEN PLACED A FOOD ORDER YET! We were unable to get her to understand this fact. Not sure what she thought we were going to box up. We walked out. Headed to a different restaurant and I recommend everyone else do the same. read more

I wish I could give less than a one star.....what a complete waste!!! Do NOT go here!! Took FOREVER, and not even busy!!! Waiter dropped a beer on "the birthday girl" and then didn't show any urgency. Wtf?!?!? Our waiter, who dropped the beer, Alan, had no clue as to how to do his job. Waited forever and didn't know what was going on. The manager even came up to us and asked if everything was okay, and when we explained to him that the birthday girl had been dumped on, he, then proceeded to say, "I'll take care of it". Took one beer off the tab........ONE F@&king beer?!?!? REALLY?!?! I've been here many times, and this is the worst!!!! FTP (FUCK THIS PLACE). read more

Would've tipped but our waitress slammed my change and our check on the table and left. Rude af

I can totally see why this place averages 2 Stars. I was literally the only customer at 11AM today. Arrived at that time as it was given to me on the App when I ordered. I was ignored for about 5 minutes or so as the staff chatted and messed around on their phones. When helped, the server barely spoke even when I initiated a friendly hello. My food wasn't ready. So, I had to wait inside. 30 minutes later, the same incourteous server came out to a now gathering crowd to simply say "NOT UP YET. NOTHING IS UP" about 10 minutes later my order was given to me with zero apologies or even a have a nice day. Better attention, a little basic kindness, a commitment to on time service and creating a curbside pick up waiting area (with a text for when the order is really ready) would greatly improve the customer experience in the future, even during a pandemic. In the meantime, I'm going to think twice before going to this place again. read more

Enjoyed my visit and very accommodating. They let an adult order kids meal so that's a plus. The songs were honestly OK but the burgers were great. The quesadillas were nothing special though. Very clean and TVs were not blasting for middle of the day. read more

To say I was less than happy would be an understatement. I have never written a single review in my life, and made a Yelp account specifically for this. I called this location at 4:58 pm tonight and asked if they would be showing the Paul vs Askren fight. The employee on the phone stated "oh wow . I just put someone on hold asking the same question, let me go check." And a few moment later the server stated that they were showing that specific fight tonight. So, myself and 6 friends drove from Iowa City to this location to be able to watch the fight. Once we arrived, and we asked about the fight when we got to a table, and they told us that the fight would not be played. The manager, Amanda, came to the table, and informed us that they would not be showing the fight, and stated that nobody informed any customers over the phone that the fight would be playing there (despite myself and 2 other guests hearing the phone conversation). I told her that that did happen, and that i confirmed it was the right phone number. She said "sorry" and left. We decided to stay and eat since we already had a table and were hungry. We ordered our food, and one persons phone came out 15 minutes before everybody else's. We asked the server to speak to a manager after 3 other people's food was cold/ hard. We voiced our concerns to the manager , Amanda, and she responded "well I am only concerned about if the food is hot or not", to which the 3 people with cold food stated that their food was not hot (For the record, the rest of us got wings and they were GREAT). She stood there and didn't say anything and one my friends stated "is there anyway we could get a small discount due to us driving 40 minutes because of misinformation and most of us receiving food that we didn't eat due to it being cold/hard" and she stated "I don't know, I will see what I might do." And rolled her eyes. Once we received our bills, she gave a 20% discount to the people who ENJOYED their food and a 10% discount to the ones who didn't finish even half of their food. The server was clearly overwhelmed and just doing her best, and she was tipped accordingly. However, to Amanda: nobody is forcing you to work a job that you clearly hate. If you don't want to work there, don't. It's not the customers fault that you are miserable. Be more attentive to the mistakes you and your staff make. We all came in in a great mood, even after we found out the event we drove 40 minutes for wasn't playing. BUT, you and your horrible attitude and customer service makes it that now I am writing the review and will never ever be back to this location. You should not be in that roll, and if you are so miserable just quit. read more

Customer service is the worst at this location. Order over an hour ahead and food still isn't done. This is twice in a row and 3/4 for this location. Looking for local wing joints that care about their customers and customer service. I would give a 0 if I could read more

We knew this place was going to be busy during the outback bowl, so we came afterwards. There is 20 people in the dinning area. The shift manager Damien came to our table and stated they have orders for 600 wings. It is New Years and you should staff for these thing. I saw a lot of wait staff standing around on there phones. Shift manager statong that they were just made aware of this...on a big day you have only one shift manager running the entore house? Seriously, get it fixed or we will ask Buffalo wings and rings to come here and give you competiton. Its not like BWW has dishes to wash... read more

After searching for a place to get good service and be able to watch our home state hockey game....we decided to go with our tried and true! Alicia is AMAZING! Very attentive! The evenings Captain Evan was able to hook us up with our game!! Kudos to BWW!! read more

Frequent customer-usually just place and an order to pick up. And I always say why did i do that. Service still the same if you are there. I get your a bartender and want to watch the game. Take the day off then. I sat at the bar to order food to go for us and one order came out to go and the other order to eat there. Nobody acknowledged I had my card out ready to pay and just wanted a box to go for the order I originally placed. Food is okay at times. However terrible service every time read more

Wait times are always longer than told. They say 25 mins and its 40. When I order take put I would show up late, knowing how late they run. I haven't neem going to this place for a month or so and doubt I will go back. Over priced and the wait times are ridiculous . read more

Visited on Saturday night and was dead. They had four people working the door and one server for entire front and the one table in the patio. Poor server was definitely hustling to try and keep up while front four were goofing around. I could see up by the bar another server was just sitting at the bar. Service was slow due to under staffing not servers fault. Wings were just okay. They forgot to season my lemon pepper wings so 1/2 my wings were plain. I asked that our daughters kid meal be brought ASAP and that was done as requested. Restaurant was kinda dirty and dated looking. New menus seemed low bar and cheap. I do like that they serve wings on a tray now instead of paper boxes. They no longer give kids little crowns and that made our daughter sad. When we were leaving the front door lady handed her a coloring book and crayons since she was sad about the crown, would have be better to get those upon arrival. read more

Ordered takeout and was told it would be done at 1140. Finally GOT the food at 1230. My co workers picked it up for our team. I called and had a very rude worker answer and told me it was the managers that do that portion of online, then she hung up on me. This location sucks and is slow as hell. Will never be going back. Get new workers that aren't rude. read more

One star is to many to give this location. The food quality is horrible. I have no idea what is going on in the kitchen. Avoid this BWW unless you just wanna drink. When someone sends back disgusting looking food , don't replace it with more disgusting food. I have added a picture of what the so called manager brought back out to me. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings - What the heck are you people serving !! Absolute trash. - American Near Me - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

I've been here 2 different times and you can almost guarantee that your order will be messed up they should go out of business

I have been to BWW all over the US and just moved close to this one 2 years ago. I have never had a timely meal there either pick up or in person. Every few months we try again and same results. Tonight ordered on line told to pickup a hour later. Got there waited over 30 while lobby was filling up with way to many others all waiting for carry out and Doordash guys. Got told 20 min in part of order did not get made right and they were working on remaking waited another 10 while more people piled in and told them I wanted to cancel. Was told I would have to wait 7-10 days to get refund as I had ordered on line. I would recommend you drive to the Blairsferry location or get Wingstop as these folks don't have a clue. read more

I know, move to a new place and first thing we do is try a chain restaurant...sigh. But you never know and in our defense, we ordered out for the Hawks game on Saturday. Well, the food matched the game. Wings were kinda cold and we got shorted on a couple of boxes. I know it was insanely busy, but how hard is it to count to 12? read more

Food is always cold, we used to go here almost weekly, we now drive across town because no matter how busy (or not busy) all but one meal always comes out cold. My family no longer comes here to eat read more

What can I say? It's Buffalo Wild Wings and who doesn't like that. My only comment I have is that I used online ordering for an order to pick up the next day and it had to be at a certain time for a party, when I got there my order wasn't ready. I had to wait 20 minutes which was time I didn't have to sit and I was late to my party. So much for online ordering. The food was good, can't complain there. Asian zing is my favorite, a perfect mix of spice and sweet. Of course, I'd go back but probably won't trust online ordering again. read more

No one manning the front desk/pick-up area when I arrived - took five minutes to talk to someone. I placed an order at 5pm to pick up at 6:20pm. It's now 7pm and the order still isn't ready. It's just an order of wings. Won't be back! read more

Typically you can't go wrong with BWW. However, this restaurant has changed my mind. I ordered Lemon Pepper wings that were over cooked and cheese fries. The fries were cold when I received them and the cheese was hard and dry. I will not be returning to this place. read more

The WORST service ever. This place must be run by monkeys. Took 30 min for the server to even greet us. They were dead yet never came to check on us. Food was room temperature. Called in and the workers were extremely rude. Not coming back to this location again. Manager needs to either fire everyone or just quit because they suck read more

Took 50 minutes to get our food with a restaurant which had 5 tables with customers. Waitress was a unwilling to listen and not very helpful. We normally visit Cedar Rapids North side wild wings. Service is a lot better and employees are polite. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Food is good. I usually get the wings extra done. Unless I'm really craving wings, I won't go unless it's Tuesday when it's cheaper for wings. Pretty large wings compared to other places. Irish democrat has bigger wings than this place but not as good of sauce choice. Quick service on take out orders, but when sitting in, can wait for a while before the appetizers you ordered come out. The mozzarella sticks here though are fresher than the Blairs ferry location and they have a large screen projector for the bigger sport nights like MMA. Mostly adults here, not as many families or children like the Blairs ferry location, which can be nice when you don't want to hear crying when trying to enjoy your meal. Staff is attentive and quick on refills. read more

Buffalo chips were cold, boneless wings were double cooked and chewy. Otherwise food and service was pretty good!

It gets one star because I can't give less than that, and our server was actually very nice. The downside and lasting memory was that my husband got food poisoning almost immediately from their burger... Never again! read more

It's simple and it's good, real good. What are the other options? UFC fight nights are fun and crowded. Service for me has always been great. Cedar Rapids has terrible food choices so I am glad that BDubs is there to satisfy my cravings for wings. read more

As much as I love bdubs, this location has the worst customer service ever. I have placed several online orders and each and EVERY time, my order has not been ready by the pick up time and it's not just 5 minutes later, it's usually about 15-20 minutes. Today, I even called to confirm that it would be ready and here we are 15 minutes later, still waiting. Do yourself a favor, and don't bother placing pick up orders. read more

I love Buffalo Wild Wings but service and quality is mixed regardless of which one you go to sometimes it's awesome and really makes you want to go there more often and other times it's dreadful making you wonder why you go there at all but as they advertise it's a great place to watch sports as anything going on is usually on TV in addition the beer selection is pretty good and the prices are competitive! It is also a great place for groups it's just the service and quality needs to be consistent!! read more

I love bdubs, but this location has lost me. Sadly, the food takes a long time to receive, and customer service is mediocre. When you do get your food, it's lukewarm and dry. There is a lack of sauce. If you complain, the manager will not care. He wants your money, and that's it. Who cares if you come back or not. If you want good wings, don't come to this location. BTW, asked for email address for general manager and was called a jerk. Thanks Trump... read more

We came in to watch some games and enjoy a meal. It took 15 minutes for anyone to even stop by for a drink order. No acknowledgment or contact from staff. Went downhill from there. 45 minutes from the time we placed our order until the first batch arrived at the table. It would take another 15 minutes for everyone to get their food. When it arrived, part of our party needed to go boxes because they did not have time to sit and eat with us. I have been to BWW in many towns. This is not indicative- because they are bad. Food was awful. Manager wouldn't even come to the table. Game day ruined. read more

Ordered online for an order to pick up. Waited 10 minutes after expected pick up time. Which is fine, as they had many other customers at the time. Got home and none of the two meals had correct customizations (per the order). Fries were cold and soggy. Cheese curds were cold and burnt. Very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

I went there for WPA last night. There were 7 of us in the group and we were also the first ones there of all the groups. We were told it would be 15-20 minute wait, we waited an hour to be sat. All of the groups that came in after us with the same number of people were sat way before us. Once we were sitting down, it took an hour before they asked us what drinks we wanted and our orders. It came out 30 minutes after and 2 orders were messed up. The waitress was so rude and never apologized even though she knew she seated many groups before us and we were there first. I would not recommend going to this bww location, unless you would like to wait 3 hours to get out of there. read more

Worse service I've ever had, anywhere. The waiter was too worried about being fast that he messed up 3/4 of our order. It took almost an hour to get all of our food and the restaurant was not busy at all. After we pointed out the mistake the waiter never came back to our table to refill drinks or anything. I'll never go to this BWW ever again. When we asked to talk to a manager, to tell them about our experience, they were rude and had an attitude before we even talked to them. read more

Good place for sports and the ufc and boxing fights I watch every Saturday as far as the food it's not too bad they charge for sauces which most places I go to don't charge just for sauce if they fix all the little extras for just sauce I would give it 5 stars .Prices for drinks is alittle high as well but if you wanna have a few wings and watch sports and play trivia then it's the spot . read more

Service is a joke. Save your money. Sat ar the bar wasn't even acknowledged for 10-15 minutes. Just got up and left. Wow. Horrible

I don't like spicy and I was in the mood for a burger. I ordered a burger with honey bbq. They sent out a burger with blazing sauce. Who would put blazing sauce on a burger? I got chemical burns from it and the manager wouldn't even give me the meal free. He said I will give you half off and a few coupons to come back...like I would like to come back EVER. My teenage son gets sick every time he goes there. Either puking or diarrhea. I highly suggest you go somewhere else. read more

I like their food for the most part but do not like their prices i.e. $10 for a simple burger?...and $6 in Cedar Rapids, Ia for a Blue Moon draft is ridiculous....$4.50 for a draft of Bud Light....definitely just ordering a soda pop next time...but I am sure that is $3 but at least it is free refills...also it is extremely noisy if you like that kind of thing when trying to eat and converse with your table mates....overall I avoid the place because with the noise, the layout of place, the prices of food/beer, etc just isn't worth it...there are much better places with cheaper prices for the same product than BWW... read more
