Hidden in plain sight. First time trying the place that's all by itself, far from the groupings of dining spots around town. Stopped in at lunchtime on a Friday. Good variety of menu items. Had a chicken sandwich with an abundance of good fries to go along with it. Mostly high top tables and seating at the bar. Lots of room, not cramped. For you guys that follow me, you know I'm from the Washington DC area and spend a lot of time in Florida. Recently, I took a trip to Iowa and stumbled upon the Stadium Lounge in Cedar Rapids. As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. Melody, our bartender, was very pleasant and treated us like regulars. We also met Mikayla, the cook and she was also very friendly and recommended the smash burger. We also had onion rings, french fries and corndog bites. Everything we had was delicious. I highly recommend this spot for good food, good atmosphere, and good cold beer. They also have a happy hour from 3 to 6 and you get two for one drinks and beers. My girlfriend tried the Summer Shandy for the first time and she loved it. So if you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere, some good food and a cold beer, this is the place for you. read more

This is in a great location right across from the areana...so you can park and get a pregame buzz going and walk on over to your event. The had a pretty decent menu and could make any drink we asked for....they were even experienced at some of the fun little shots like a vegas bomb and Irish Apple....this doesn't look like the type of bar that would be able to do anything but simple pour and beer but I was impressed and they even had Ginger Ale for my Big Ginger. I really love when they have a experienced and knowlegable bar and wait staff. Food was decent enough...I recommend the Fish---it was broasted...and the chicken looked really good but I didn't have any of that. Stadium Bar and Grill used to be a great place until the new owner, Jordan, took over. My boyfriend and I were in there after the kernels game today. We were having a great time until the bill arrived. We had 4 drinks that totaled over $44. If you order a double here, be aware they will charge you the price of two separate drinks. I have never once heard of an establishment charging doubles that way, and I have worked a number of different dining establishments ranging from dive bars to high end cocktails bars. We were told that policy is not in place at his other businesses. (One being Mulligan's Pub). The bartender apologized profusely, but of course it's not her fault. I messaged the owner and I was promptly blocked when I asked him if that was correct. Do not recommend. Other patrons outside had less than stellar things to say about the place. Such a shame once a great place is going down the drain. read more

Love this place, Great food great prices and a great atmosphere! I have never had a bad time wether after a Rough Riders game or before an event, Stadium is the place to be. Not a bad place to stop after an adult league Hockey game ether! read more
