Continuing onto the letter B in my alphabet series for the 2011-2017 era of the Buffalo Wild Wings in sunny Buck aka Buckhannon, WV. A friend & I were visiting Buckhannon one weekend in April 2016. She wanted to show me her old college, West Virginia Wesleyan. For lunch, I was starving and ate like 85% of this huge nacho platter at CJ Maggies; this will represent the letter C soon enough. For dinner, it was reversed I was full but she was hungry. So, we went to the Buffalo Wild Wings close to the hotel. I didn't eat much. Perhaps, I got like 6 snack wings not sure. Server was nice, but the quality of the wings is kind of so so at BWW plus I was full from the huge lunch I had, so it didn't taste that good. My friend really can put down some alcohol. She put away a couple of Angry Balls, which is Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and Angry Orchard Hard Apple Cider. I tried her drink, which was good, but strong. She was drunk, but it wasn't too big of a deal as I think I drove her car back to the hotel. read more

Ordered takeout on the app for this location and they gave us blue cheese instead of ranch, gave us 0 out of the 2 drinks we ordered, and didn't give us the celery we ordered. ASTRONOMICAL wait times for food. My friends and I waited for 50 minutes before we got our food, and when it arrived it was cold. As if they made our food and let it sit in kitchen, not even in a warmer. Horrific experience. read more

Food took forever to get here, the waitress was not very friendly to anyone in our group, they didn't add any sauce to any of the wraps that we had ordered, took them forever to refill any of our drinks. Was not impressed at all with the service and the waitress didn't seem like she cared much about her personal hygiene to be handling our food. read more

Stick with the chicken and beer. My wife enjoyed the salad with chicken strips. I thought my burger topped with brisket was over done. My burgers (there were 2 paddies) and brisket were too done and actually crispy and crunchy. Not what I was expecting. Server was fine. Beer was cold. Honestly terrible. We knew not to expect much but it was just beyond bad. My husband got 10 piece traditional wings and only 4 of them were slightly edible. He referred to the rest of them as "leather". My sister and I both got a classic chicken wrap and the wraps were dry and stale and they only had maybe 2 small pieces of chicken in them. They didn't even put the sauce on my sister's that she asked for, so hers was extra dry. We also requested lemon pepper fries and got plain ones. Just keep driving. Not worth the stop. Disarray as soon as we walked in. Three parties were ahead of us waiting at host stand as employees continued to walk by without a word. When we received our food every single order was wrong. Food is exceptionally bad. We stopped here on a Sunday (pre NFL season) to grab some late lunch. I was looking for hot dog stand but I was out voted by Tony, Noel and Adam, they wanted HOT WINGS...so where else but BWW!!! except maybe Roosters, but there wasn't a Roosters around so BWW!!! The place was busy because the church rush was in play. We were seated with only a few minute wait but our waitress was slightly overwhelmed. My hubby ordered Bud on draft and he got Bud Light now he is a master beer drinker and he knows the difference and they acted like he was crazy. They insisted it was Budweiser and not Bud light they eventually brought him another pour and yes he was correct the first glass was Definitely NOT Budweiser!!! We ordered our food. Tony and Noel shared a large wings nakes and wet with Ranch on the side no veggies, Adam got a burger with fries and I got the chicken street tacos which I absolutely love!!! Our food was good. We had to wait about 45 minutes but based on the crowd, it matched because you don't want the kitchen too fast then the chicken isn't cooked safely. Waitress refilled our drinks but there was no comp on the beer fiasco..not even a little 5% off from the manager for the basic fight we had with the bartender and waitress and that was a bit disappointing since it was clearly their error!!! The Cobb salad was such a disappointment. On the picture it shows the ranch on the side which when you're getting it to go and it's going to be about an hour before it's eaten the dressing on the side is how it should be. Mine was absolutely covered in ranch which I didn't know until I opened it. The cardboard box it was in was falling to pieces from the dressing setting in it. It was not an appealing meal and got trashed. The mild wings had just a tiny tiny bit of sauce on them. Like you couldn't even taste the sauce on them. read more

buffalo wild wings in buckhannon is absolutely terrible. honestly we should have known better than to try and order from them but we wanted wings. we ordered through doordash, our dasher was waiting there for almost an hour before getting our food(they accepted the order 20 minutes after we placed so it's not on them at all). just for our food to get here and the order not even be correct. our items are missing or are not correct. i called and they offered no help, but to go through doordash to get a refund. i have worked in the food industry(preparing togo orders actually) and so has my fiancé so we are usually pretty understanding. however this is just ridiculous at this point, every time we order or go in something is wrong. now i can't eat anything because my part of the food is messed up/ not here. Place was busy due to bike night, but very few at the bar. There are 3-4 guys working on the bud light tap while a lone lady bartender tried to keep up. I waited at least 15 minutes for a beer then another 10 before I was able to order food. Good thing I don't travel through here often. read more

The service is always terrible every single time. I only go because it is close to where I am staying. It takes entirely too long to get our food no matter if it's busy or slow. Just wasted an hour of my life at this location waiting just to give our order. We stopped a waiter after 45 minutes to ask about taking our order and he said he'd get our server and we waited 15 more minutes and still never got to place our order. We decided to get food elsewhere and as we were leaving one person from our party saw a free manager and told him the issue and that we had been there an hour without someone even asking our drink order and he didn't even respond. No one was yelling or rude in any way. So we all just walked out but that is by far the worst experience I've had trying to dine out. They have terrible service and they don't care. read more

After a long weekend at Snowshoe Mountain we stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings for a quick lunch (which was great!) Little did we know we'd have a disastrous car break down in the parking lot and have to spend the next 6 hours in the restaurant. I can't begin to explain how nice every single staff member was. From the servers checking on us constantly asking if we were doing okay or needed anything, to cracking jokes to keep us sane, I can honestly say it was the best possible place for us to wait for a tow truck for such a long time! The manager went out of her way to accommodate us and let us bring a car full of luggage into the restaurant, and even got on the phone to help give the driver directions. A server went out of her way to call her dad and give us such helpful info on places to get out car looked at in the morning if we needed to. And I'd say 90% or maybe even every single person working came up to see if we were okay, tell us good luck with everything, and really made a super crappy situation not so bad. Great to know there are still such nice people out there! And by the way the food was amazing too. Even finished our night with dessert nachos which were out of this world good!!! On Tuesday January the 5th of 2021. I ordered two 20 piece traditional wings.and when I was eating one of the orders of wings I found a hair sticking to my wings. And when I called them to notify them of the blunder it was as if they was for a specific person and when I said no and gave my information they told me sorry and they would redo my order when I come in just to give them my information. And I called today Sunday January the 10th of 2021 and was not only talked to in a rude distasteful and disrespectful way. I've been here 3-4 times and it's been a good place to eat each time. They have good wings, big screen TVs, gaming tablets for kids, cocktails and beer, and various appetizers and sports bar food. It's a casual atmosphere. read more

It's really hit or miss on the service/cooking. If you can go before the dinner rush you'll be satisfied. However, we've found that if you go anytime during or after dinner service is usually slow and the wings are pretty dry and dull in flavor. read more

So, back in March me and 3 friends took my aunts jeep to Snowshoe Mountain for the weekend. On our way home we were hungry af so we stopped at this random Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. When we went to leave something horrible happened to the brakes in her car, we almost rolled backwards off a 30 ft hillside and AAA pretty much told us we're screwed and they won't tow us 150 miles back to Pittsburgh on a Sunday. So this Buffalo Wild Wings stepped up and adopted the 4 of us for the day. Fed us, kept us company, helped us laugh at a shitty situation, got us more food, kept us hydrated, and let us overstay our welcome. The entire staff couldn't have been more helpful and concerned for us. People were calling their parents helping us find places to get out car looked at. It was great. For being trapped in a snow storm 2 hours from home with no vehicle Buffalo Wild Wings made our 8 hour stay not so bad. Thumbs up to this crew plus the food was really good.
