Such a cute restaurant in Belington. Inside is renovated and has a pleasantly surprising atmosphere. I ordered breakfast with ham, hash browns, eggs and toast. Their bread is homemade and exquisite. I had no idea diner toast could be so delicious. Portions are huge and prices are fair. They seem understaffed as our server was also the one cooking our food. In foreign territory for us, we followed Yelp guidance to Dianne's - shuttered like a closed coal mine. Helpful stranger said go to Batb's- thanks stranger. Barb's is a typical small town diner- not fancy, not gourmet but friendly efficient service and excellent food. Crisp fresh salad to start. House specialty meatloaf (very tasty and unusually soft, oatmeal?) with authentic mashed potatoes and uniquely prepared spinach ( may sound strsnge, but vinegar infused and surprisingly tasty) - top not entree. Arrived at 10 am per our reservation. I ordered buffet, husband and child ordered pancakes and french toast. I ate first plate slowly as wanted to eat together for a rare occasion of going out for mother's day. At 11:10 their orders had still not been served. Husband takes meds and needed to eat or gets shaky, irritable; and, of course hungry for a late breakfast. So an hour and 10 minutes is a ridiculous wait for two breakfast meals. Husband went to pay, and we went to the car and he was still charged for the whole order even though they didnt eat. read more

It is a busy place. Nice mom and pop shop. Not many places like this that exist since Covid ended a lot of them. Truck Drivers will love this especially because it can hold at least two tricks with trailers comfortably in the lot. read more

This is such a nice, bright and clean establishment. Was there today for breakfast and had Barb's special omelet; delicious and bread is home made and service was great. You can't beat this place for quality, service or prices. Always so clean and neat. We will definitely be back for dinner. read more

We ordered a Taco Salad. It was awful!!!! No beans or meat on it. Lots of salsa and sauce, I mean lots!!! Only six chips on it. The lettuce was in long strips, when you tried to cut it the sauce went off the plate and on the table. A big piece of onion. It tasted like it was just salsa! Never again!!!!!!!!!! Who ever this Christy chick is, is surely trippin'! Barb's restaurant is wonderful! This place is a great place for families and people if all ages. It has fantastic home-cooked meals. The employees and the owner, Barb, herself are all very nice people. Anyone who complains about this restaurant is a fool and they most surely have no class. read more
