got a combo meal which came with 10 boneless wings, fries, ranch, and a drink (i chose diet pepsi) normally, I wouldn't get fries here, but as part of the deal I didn't mind it Since they were a limited time, I decided to try the honey sriracha wings the size of the wings were pretty decent - didn't feel like any of them were smaller than they should be the breading was a little disappointing - there wasn't much crunch to it - probably due to the fact that the wings were tossed in the sauce rather than a dry rub, but i still did expect a little bit more breadiness than what i got i did appreciate the different bumps on the breading, though the inside of the wings wasn't overcooked either as far as the sauce, i wasn't quite sure what to make of it there was some sweetness but not much, and the sriracha flavor was essentially missing as this was not spicy in any way despite being a lot of sauce, it didn't really have any strong flavors The Maple Sriracha and Hot Honey flavors at Wingstop do a similar sauce significantly better, in my opinion The fries were about average - they weren't crunchy, but at least were somewhat soft inside. not much seasoning the carrots were wayy too soft the ranch was also fine but not great - again, Wingstop does the ranch a lot better I will say this was a pretty great deal for the price, as the overall meal is quite filling for what comes out to only around 14 dollars read more

We ordered cauliflower wings (baked) since they would fry the cauliflower wings in the same oil as the chicken wings and defeats the purpose of getting cauliflower wings. The lady on the phone was extremely nice and patient and helped me place an order. I aas so excited to try these but unfortunately large order of wings not only cost me about $30 they were uncooked on the inside and you could taste the breading. The woman working the front took my mom's to go order and went back to the kitchen. Then she came back and said "oh we're closed." Then realizing that made no sense herself she went back to the kitchen and now another guy came out and said "we're closing at 4." It wasn't 4. In fact I had called before 4 to make sure they were open and no one answered. I tried to place an app order but "online ordering was not being offered at this location." Another case of we want to go home. Which again - I feel you. After all I was just trying to get home with 24 wings. But either close and be really closed - meaning don't accept customers - yup other people were being seated while we were ordering, or be open and accept orders until 4pm. And again I don't even stan wings like that. But at this point it's the principle of the matter. I hope Santa brought coal to yalls stockings. read more

Chicken wings, cold draft beer, and a good ball game. How can anyone not like that? Not to mention the college kids who work there are good at their jobs and deserve good tips. An email about their BOGO Traditional Wings Tuesdays convinced me to give this BDUBS location another shot. I mean who can refuse 12 wings for less than 10$! I was disappointed when I got home with my Togo order and it was missing sides and sauces, so I would recommend checking before leaving. One evening after work my friend and I were craving chicken wings so we decided to grab some at Buffalo Wild Wings! Luckily Buffalo Wild Wings has a deal on Tuesday that makes their traditional wings almost half off. As we walked in we were seated and service overall was really good. The sauces that you can choose from for your wings are huge! They have such a wide variety. I decided to get a medium. I got the Thai curry, Parmesan garlic and Bourbon honey mustard. The flavors were good, especially when I dipped it with blue cheese dressing. Overall, going to Buffalo Wild Wings is great for chicken wings. The only other places to go would be somewhere like Domino's/Papa Johns (aka not very good wings) or a more expensive restaurant like Mellow Mushroom. I do believe there was more breading than chicken on most of those pieces. I ate maybe 5 pieces before stopping; I just couldn't keep eating these overbreaded, dry, overfried wings. PLEASE do NOT get the buffalo dry rub. I'm not sure how a place called "Buffalo Wild Wings" can screw up buffalo so much. The only reason I would come here again is for sports events or by invitation. The wings are just so disappointing and inconsistent.. Typical macro beers; bud light, bud heavy, Coors, Mich Ultra. Thankfully we were there on a Thursday for .70 boneless wings. I got 10 with Asian Zing and Bourbon Honey Mustard split. A little upset with Buffalo Wild Wings tonight. We came to eat there and was told there was 2HOUR wait, we could see the wait list and there were 4 names on the list. We then decided to just get food to go, the hostess told us that would be much quicker. As we waited for our food in the waiting area everyone that was waiting got sat then multiple groups that came after us got sat while we were then still waiting on our Togo food. I went in to check on our food and she was telling a group the wait was 15 Minutes. How did we go from 2hours to 15 mins. I get covering your butt just Incase but not so dramatically. I love this place. My girlfriend and I come here often, as they have great food and usually great service. Wait times can be pretty bad if you come either during peak lunch time, or during a football game. The only thing that keeps me from giving this place five stars is 1) Location size is really a bit small. It doesn't take much for a long wait to happen. 2) The removal of the Jammin Jalapeno sauce. We went there at around 1 pm and waited for ~10 min to be seated, it also took about 20 min to be served with the ordered food. Instructions can be added to the menu to tell customers how to order. This Bdubs brought me back to photo hunt and drunk college guys singing acapella at the bar. It's a fun environment on game nights and you might even see some bball players stop in for take out. Initially I was surprised that you have to show ID at the entrance, but what the heck everyone is there to drink, eat and be merry! Or drown in their sorrow after losing to JMU (Go Dukes)! I was very happy when we finally sat down to eat at 9pm after waiting a while for a group of 6. We ordered 4 different styles of 6 bone-in wings each:a dry rub which I wasn't crazy about, the Hot Wings which were definitely spicy and making my eyes water, the Mango Habenero wings which were supposedly spicier on the scale but I thought was sweet, and the Spicy Garlic, which was an all around crowd pleaser. Onion rings were tasty but I was just too full by the time they came to the table. Best thing about being in this college town is that they have great beer specials ($2 until 9pm!), the waitress lets you know when the specials are about to end and they automatically give you separate checks because they are used to the kids using their dining cards. read more

Just ... no. I understand that fuck ups happen with food orders and what have you, especially when it's a busy Sunday evening. I get it. They happen. But arguing with the customer is borderline offensive. I ordered boneless wings, and they came out barely sauced and were stone cold. The bartender (a girl, name starts with an E) took them back for me. About 10-15 minutes later, they returned to the bar, with what looked like new sauce. Taking a bite in to them, they TASTED like they had just been dropped back in the fryer, and re-sauced. But, they were hot, just really really tough. The bartender inquired if they were better, and I asked if she wanted an honest answer. She said she did, and I told her it tasted like they had been fried again. She practically threw off her gloves. "No they aren't, and let me tell you why they aren't. I took them back there myself, and personally threw your other ones in the trash. Trust me when I say, they are freshly cooked." Okay, that's great and all. But that shit doesn't matter. It TASTES like they've been double fried. Their hot and spicy garlic sauces are the best, the other ones aren't bad but it really depends on if you want your wings to taste like asian potstickers, or like bbq sauce, which I don't. I'm from Buffalo, NY originally so stepping into a Buffalo Wild Wings is sort of like sacrilege. I was surprised to find that I didn't burst into flames within the first couple of minutes of being their. My lunch was good. The wings didn't blow me away but I liked that I could inexpensively mix and match a few different flavors to get a feel for what they offered and was very pleased to see that they don't bread their wings here. If they had breaded their wings I would have ordered a drink and probably nothing else. That's the wing snob in me talking. Their wings that were supposed to be hot had a nice heat to them while not sacrificing much flavor. Their wings that were supposed to be flavorful were fairly flavorful. I won't be craving wings from here any time soon and I've since learned how to make them at home just like a few places back in Buffalo would make them but this wasn't the horrible experience I expected. I've ordered from this location for years and have always been happy. Tonight, I placed an order via GrubHub for delivery for 20 wings. That's it. My estimated delivery time was changed four times and was estimated to take three hours to make and deliver twenty boneless wings to my home address. Unless they're slaughtering the chicken themselves, cleaning and deboning it, it should not take that long. I cancelled my order but even that was difficult. Because wings are my Achilles heel, I rate them very critically and this has never been so true until I tried the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings in Blacksburg, VA. I've always enjoyed Buffalo Wild Wings, but for some reason, the B3dub in Blacksburg, VA misses the mark and isn't up to par as some of the others around the country. I've been to B3dubs in Tucson and Phoenix, AZ; Winchester and Harrisonburg, VA and the B3Dub in Blacksburg is the black sheep of the bunch. Let's talk about my favorite flavor of wings B3dub has to offer, Asian Zing. I could take this sauce and throw it on anything. But, unfortunately, last time the dryness and size of the wings could not be fixed by the sauce. I hope this was a bad day for Blacksburg B3dub. Usually, B3Dub wings are emasculate! Not this time time though. This experience, however, won't prevent me from trying them again. For now, I am scarred by this unfortunate experience and it may take a while to get back on the horse. Because they employ mostly college students working for beer money the wait staff will vary from extremely nice and helpful to useless and frustrating.
