I went to this Buffalo Wild Wings after a gymnastics competition on a Saturday night; it was around 8 PM. It was quite busy, and they informed us that there would be around a 25-minute wait, but the wait was much shorter--only around 5 to 10 minutes until we got seated. The waiter, Kelly, got our drinks right away. I ordered a Dr. Pepper, but little did I know that it would be my ONLY one of the night! I'll talk more about that later. When Kelly took our drink orders, we also ordered an appetizer of some mozzarella sticks. Our drinks came quickly, and my Dr. Pepper was okay--not the best I've ever had, but definitely not the worst. Kelly dropped off our drinks. It was around 15 minutes before our appetizer was brought out, and they were very good. Then around 25 minutes passed, and there was still no food or Kelly. I have no complaints about the wait time; it wasn't that long, and I understand they are busy. My issue is that Kelly never came back to check on us. By the time our food came, our drinks were empty, and Kelly didn't return until we got the bill, so we couldn't even ask for more drinks. Overall, I don't think the drink problem is Kelly's fault; I just think this establishment needs better training for its employees. The ambiance of the place is good--very clean, with TVs showing all the sports, and the bathroom was very clean. I even had a little dance party in there! After four visits, I'm dropping four stars on Birch Run's BW3. There's never a delay getting to our seats and they always get the beverage order correct, not that that's a great achievement, some places struggle getting that much right. A small drawback, they drench their boneless wings in way too much sauce for my liking. PRO TIP: You can ask for the sauce "on the side" in addition to your Bleu cheese or ranch dips. PRO TIP #2: You can still get complimentary carrots and celery, like we're done for years, now, they are available upon request only! Today's server was Grace and you couldn't ask for nicer people. Very quick service, to boot! She's from the old school that says stay up too speed on your customer's needs. Once my beer reached half way she was around to see if I needed another. Same with the water glasses. One practice I'm not entirely comfy with is a second server delivering food. Does that tip that Grace worked so hard for get split between them because Gabby carried a couple trays to the table, one time? Do they pool/split ALL tips? I just slipped Grace a ten spot and let her figure it out! The restaurant is clean for the most part with the exception of the restrooms. Since pandemic most places can't staff enough bodies to keep up, so the restrooms often suffer, as a result. Probably the same thing here. I vowed to myself and my stomach I wouldn't go to another BDubs...but you gotta do what you gotta do when the Lions are playing Sunday Night Football! While visiting Frankenmuth, we called multiple bars and restaurants looking for one staying open past 10 so we would be able to watch the Detroit Lions on SNF. This Birch Run Buffalo Wild Wings told me on the phone they'd be staying open for the whole game and to come on in. We were sat with the waitress Marah who was so sweet and attentive! She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, etc. She was great! I forgot to take photos of the food, but we also had chips and guac in addition to the wings and tots. I do not recommend. The guac tasted so artificial and chemically. The chips didn't seem the freshest either. So while I still am not a fan of the food here, this has to be the nicest BWW I've ever been to. It looks remodeled and new, nothing was sticky-not even the menus! The floors and tables were clean. The bathroom was very average for a public restroom, I've used nicer and have seen way way worse. Since we were staying for the duration of a game, sitting in the high top chairs made our backs hurt so we asked to switch to a booth. Our new waitress in the booth area left a lot to be desired. She seemed very annoyed we were staying longer and said if we need her to flag her down (but she rarely came to check on us). The one time she came to check on us and asked if we needed anything, she turned around and walked away before we could really answer. We did still order a few things trying to make it worth her while and even overtipped her to show our appreciation for accommodating us, but she had an attitude we did not appreciate. We sat at the bar on a Saturday during football games and they had one bartender behind the bar for quite a bit who seemed to do a million other things over taking care of customers. A group of five gentlemen were sitting next to us and their beers were empty for quite a bit so one of the guys raised their hand to try and get his attention and the bartender got pissed off about it saying I'm not that kind of bartender don't get loud with me and scream at me when the customer never even said a word. He was extremely rude towards the customer. He said I'm working and I will get to you when I get to you and at this point there were maybe like six people he was taking care of at the bar. He got the beers for the other two people in his group and made it a point to not get the other guy a beer and then came back saying are you ready for your next beer now as if saying are you done with your attitude towards me. Like wtf! I work in a customer service industry so u should probably be nice to ur customers. So rant over. Our food took forever to come out and when it finally did of course it was cold. Not a single bartender ever came to ask how the food is or was or if everything was good or even to ask if we needed anything. I have been to this Buffalo Wild Wings a few times now. It have never been great service but today was the worst. Over an hour wait for food that was simple. Then when we got the food it was cold to touch and the wings were so hard to bite into. My sons queso dip was to thick and nasty. And instead of offering to replace our food or fix the problem they offered "complimentary chips and salsa" while we waited for another 10 minutes for our food. I received a Buffalo wild wing gift card from my aunt's ex-husband as a 4th of July gift. Decided to treat myself and my nephew to a brunch. I wanted to get the pretzel knots, but my nephew convinced me to try the wing. We got garlic parm AND Asian zing with a side of frenchies. The wings were good. To me, they are just chicken nuggets with sauce added. Wish they had a ranch flavor wings. The fries were not as crispy as I like, but my nephew sure did enjoy them. Little man ate all of them. We ate our food in the car and listened to the Tigers game on the radio. All in all, I was pretty pleased. Unfortunately the service and quality this visit was well below satisfaction. After a few days up north riding snow sleds we stopped at the Location as it serves as half way. Home for us. Our service was average, but the disappointed aspect was the food quality. 47 minutes we waited for cold wings and a few minutes later our potato wedges arrived. The wedges were very hot!! Very good. The disappointing thing is we mentioned to the server David that our food was cold and asked him send a manger out to speak with us. Which means its at its most vibrant state. Newly poured concrete, polished floors and just new everything. We were greeted right away, sat on a high chair table. We ordered, what I believe is 20 pieces of traditional. 4 different sauces,, spicy garlic, thai chili, mango habanero (my favorite) and THEE reformulated Blazin. Yes, I order a 5 piece blazin everytime I come here. Just to experience what it feels like to have my mouth obliterated by the new ghost chili sauce. The service was awesome btw. Our server was very attentive,, our food was hot when it arrived. Our beers were cold and when we finished our round of beers, she asked if we would like another.. YES PLEASE! So we came with our daughter. Our curds were good, but served cold as if they were on the steam table too long. Though the curds were brought to the table without us being given any silverware or even napkins. We didn't have any napkins under our drinks. After a couple of minutes, I had to get up from the table and walk around asking for essentials to be able to eat. The service was okay, the pricing was fair, food was lackluster. Where in the world do I even start with this review the second I walked in it took about 20 minutes just to get graded when we were agreed and said we had a party of seven the waitress side and walked away. I took about 15 minutes just to set up a table and a half the restaurant was empty. When we sat down, the waitress was pretty quick to take our drink orders and take our food orders but then that's where the problem begin. We waited an hour and 20 minutes just to receive our food, and when the first wave of food came out, it wasn't even everything we ordered. We then waited an additional 25 minutes to receive the second half of our order. Everything with the order was awful. The marinara sauce for the cheese sticks wasn't even a sauce it was chunky.
