    Chips & House-made Guacamole

I vowed to myself and my stomach I wouldn't go to another BDubs...but you gotta do what you gotta do when the Lions are playing Sunday Night Football! While visiting Frankenmuth, we called multiple bars and restaurants looking for one staying open past 10 so we would be able to watch the Detroit Lions on SNF. This Birch Run Buffalo Wild Wings told me on the phone they'd be staying open for the whole game and to come on in. We were sat with the waitress Marah who was so sweet and attentive! She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, etc. She was great! I forgot to take photos of the food, but we also had chips and guac in addition to the wings and tots. I do not recommend. The guac tasted so artificial and chemically. The chips didn't seem the freshest either. So while I still am not a fan of the food here, this has to be the nicest BWW I've ever been to. It looks remodeled and new, nothing was sticky-not even the menus! The floors and tables were clean. The bathroom was very average for a public restroom, I've used nicer and have seen way way worse. Since we were staying for the duration of a game, sitting in the high top chairs made our backs hurt so we asked to switch to a booth. Our new waitress in the booth area left a lot to be desired. She seemed very annoyed we were staying longer and said if we need her to flag her down (but she rarely came to check on us). The one time she came to check on us and asked if we needed anything, she turned around and walked away before we could really answer. We did still order a few things trying to make it worth her while and even overtipped her to show our appreciation for accommodating us, but she had an attitude we did not appreciate. Despite that, we didn't let her ruin our night. The Lions won, we left happy, and all was well.

Service could improve BIG TIME! We sat at the bar on a Saturday during football games and they had one bartender behind the bar for quite a bit who seemed to do a million other things over taking care of customers. Then another bar tender showed up that I already had a bad feeling about because of his MSU shirt but whatever. A group of five gentlemen were sitting next to us and their beers were empty for quite a bit so one of the guys raised their hand to try and get his attention and the bartender got pissed off about it saying I'm not that kind of bartender don't get loud with me and scream at me when the customer never even said a word. He was extremely rude towards the customer. He said I'm working and I will get to you when I get to you and at this point there were maybe like six people he was taking care of at the bar. He got the beers for the other two people in his group and made it a point to not get the other guy a beer and then came back saying are you ready for your next beer now as if saying are you done with your attitude towards me. Like wtf! I work in a customer service industry so u should probably be nice to ur customers. So rant over. Our food took forever to come out and when it finally did of course it was cold. Not a single bartender ever came to ask how the food is or was or if everything was good or even to ask if we needed anything. Food has been sitting on the bar for over 30 minutes and no questions, not even do you need a box? This was by far the crappiest experience I've had here to date.

Just not a fan, slow service and mediocre food at best. Thought they would have a better draft beer list. Ordered a beer and they brought a different one (draft) and wanted to assure me it was the right beer. It wasn't. The brisket tater tot appetizer was just ok, if the tots were crisp it would be better. Tots just fell apart as they weren't crisp. And the Buffalo chicken wrap- just eh. Just don't get the hype for this place.

I received a Buffalo wild wing gift card from my aunt's ex-husband as a 4th of July gift. Decided to treat myself and my nephew to a brunch. I wanted to get the pretzel knots, but my nephew convinced me to try the wing. We got garlic parm AND Asian zing with a side of frenchies. The wings were good. To me, they are just chicken nuggets with sauce added. Wish they had a ranch flavor wings. The fries were not as crispy as I like, but my nephew sure did enjoy them. Little man ate all of them. We ate our food in the car and listened to the Tigers game on the radio. All in all, I was pretty pleased. I never eat here unless I have a gift card (to Buffalo wild wing) because the food is always very expensive. I'd say this was a good first Buffalo wild wing experience.

Very clean inside with friendly service and a tap beer selection that's basic but probably has something to suit most folks. I went for the Stone IPA. I ordered a turkey reuben. The sandwich was a little light on meat and a little heavy on some too--creamy coleslaw. The bread stayed crisp at least, and wasn't overly greasy. Good enough for a pit stop, and a nice laid back alternative to Birch Run's chain restaurant offerings over toward the outlet mall.

The positive was the staff the Bartender/Waiter was very sweet and nice tried to make everything just right. The restaurant itself is very clean and I bet the outside is amazing during warmer months. This was Veterans Day weekend and they did get quite busy so the time it took to get our food was very long but I had good company so it was fine. However the food was just lacking it looked quite appetizing but just lacked any flavor. The olive burger was very bland and my burger was dry and charred, my sister had a Reuben and although I do consider her a Reuben snob, she is picky, but I agreed with her the meat was very dry. My husband had the Rodeo burger which he enjoyed but said it wasn't worth the price. We visit this area all the time since I have family there, but I'm not sure I would give this place another shot if given the chance.

My salad bowl arrived looking okay. Until I turned the plate and it was noticed my bowl was dirty. Literally had previous food sauce on the side of the bowl. The shrimp's breading could have used more flavor, even just black pepper or something. There wasn't much meat on the riblets but it didn't matter as you could reorder. Food came out quickly and service was friendly and quick. For some reason the coleslaw is not unlimited which was a bit odd as I would have liked more than the tiny cup that they gave. Restaurant was also very cold inside. I had to wear my jacket the entire time I was in there. However it was clean and well kept. Overall I'd return as I thought it was a good deal for all you can eat.

Always down for a sports bar, even though I'm not a sports guy. Well, I mean, if eating was a sport I would be an Olympic gold medalist. But since it's the off season, I'm eating for pleasure, not business. Pulling up, you can absolutely tell it's a sports bar. A lot of that has to do because it says so on the sign. But even if that wasn't there, you would guess it's genre of restaurant. The inner part of the building, where the cooking and eating take place, also speaks loudly of this restaurants affiliation with sports. One thing that was nice with this place was that the seating is spread out enough to where you don't feel packed in. There's plenty of room for movement without having to stand on a table to let people walk by. As is the custom, I ordered boneless wings as an app. Buffalo flavor. The sauce. not the animal. Came with complimentary ranch I will use and complementary celery I will ignore. The wings were good. Had great flavor and the breading wasn't too thick. I like the taste of chicken in my boneless chicken pieces. Also, as is the custom, I ordered a second app. The pizza puffs. Now, from where I come from, we have several sports bar restaurants that specialize in Pizza Puff Apps™. Therefore, those restaurants are the bar to which these will be measured. That being said, I do feel the outside of these were a little too hard. Almost had a crust. Not ideal. The PPA (Pizza Puff Apps™) I'm used to are like fluffy clouds of dreams. Like puffs are meant to be. Theses missed that mark. The marinara sauce was good and the orange cheese was great. Though they do upcharge for the OC (Orange Cheese). My Main Character Meal™ was the classic fish-n-chips. Cod: 2 pieces. Fries: Crinke. Firstly, the fries. Crinkle cut fries are God tier and I saw Jesus with these. Secondly, the fish was great. Great batter, great flakeyness. The missed the mark with the tartar sauce though. It had a sweet taste, which didn't couple well with the fish taste. Tartar sauce needs to have more of the first part of their name in it. Oh. The southwest ranch for obligatory fry dipping was fantastic. Pizza Puff Apps™: 7/10 Fish part of the fish-n-chips: 10/10 Tartness of tarter sauce: 4/10 Sports bar-ness: 11/10
