Waaaay more my speed and better experience than the store on transit! This was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I'm considering joining their club if my next visit is just as welcoming and amazing. This is the flagship store which is obvious. The staff were so incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, informative, made suggestion(which were dead on perfect), gave a club house tour, and were talkative. I felt at home there and it was a very calm classy vibe so we ended up buying more cigars, a lighter, and lounging. If you follow me I've been to every cigar bar in Pittsburgh and about 10 in NYC. This was the most welcoming, chill, and clean out of them all. A major reason why I'm considering joining the club is the outdoor garden with a patio, grill, bar, games.... and the amazing club tour. FYI bills and sabers players frequent this location for a reason. I highly recommend it! read more

Felt a little let down this visit. First, their cigar event was cancelled. So on way into town anyway (hotel had already been booked), stopped here. Saw nice lounge out back with a fire pit, and upstairs lounge. Walked in to start with a purchase. They didn't carry several mainstream brands I asked for. Looked at t shirts, only had the really odd sizes in stock. Bought a cigar, asked about lounge. Was told it is members only, no way to buy a 1 day visit, etc. but could smoke their in the tiny area within the shop. Didn't stay long. Found another lounge southeast of the airport which I liked better. Maybe if they can have the cigar event next year I might return, but don't find a reason to buy online from here as so many other options. Passed on chanc3 to visit the downtown lounge. read more

Absolutely Awesome place to chill and relax while enjoying a fine cigar. Great staff, very knowledgeable and attentive. Huge humidor, actually the whole place is one big humidor. Great selection of cigars! Free coffee and soft drinks. They often have pizzas and wings for Sabres or Bills games. Also movie nights are the best. Local Italian ladies cook and cater the events! I would give 10 stars if possible! read more

5/5 Although I'm apprehensive to shop here versus the pre-existing mom n pop shop that is "smokers haven" in west Seneca. This place deserves no ill-review. Great selection, decent prices (there's a bargain bin if you're inclined) and a welcoming atmosphere. Complimentary snacks and knowledgeable staff encapsulate all aspects of a good cigar shop/lounge. I applaud their events and music nights. read more

I was in buffalo for a short period of time on vacation when I stumbled upon this place. The staff was very friendly and the people were very friendly as well. They have a large selection of cigars as well as hand rolled cigars. If I lived closer I'd definitely Be here almost every day. read more

Went here a month ago and liked the shop. They also had very good prices. Messaged them in advance for a box of cigars. Confirmed the price and the date I would pick them up. When I arrived at the shop on the day I had indicated, not only was I disappointed to learn that one of the employees had put them back on the shelf so the box was no longer sealed, but I noticed a significant increase in the price. When I asked if the price had gone up, I knew it did but was being polite with the hope they would honour the price I was given, it was clear they were not going to honour what I had been told initially. I was told that an employee had not been pricing the cigars correctly and that most cigars had gone up in price. I think it's more of a case of them upping prices now that they have become established. The positive out of this experience is that I went looking for another shop in Buffalo. Not only did I learn that the prices at Buffalo Cigars seem to be at least $2 higher on average but I found a place whose customers are welcoming while you enjoy a cigar, rather than those at Buffalo Cigars who seem to be in a bubble. While Buffalo Cigars is a nice shop, my advice is to look around as there are better ones out there in the city! read more

I stopped in to pick up a couple cigars for my deer hunting enjoyment. Being a fairly new smoker I had hoped to meet someone who could point me in the right direction. I've been to a couple other cigar shops and had less than stellar experiences. As soon as I stepped in I was immediately greeted by Joey. What a great guy. He actually seemed to care and spent quite a while with this newbie. I'll definitely be heading back next time I'm in town. Now I'm not saying that it was his macanudo inspirado or the pipe tobacco recommendation but I was able to take a nice buck and a doe opening day on Blue Hill. This place is AMAZING!! I have never seen a cigar shop this nice before. I have purchased cigars for 20 years while living in 5 states and traveling the world and this shop is second to none! This place is gorgeous, huge and extremely well stocked. The staff was very knowledgeable. They offered some excellent suggestions. The prices are better than Nice Ash or any WNY shop. My wife went to the store downtown and purchased me a Christmas gift I received the Christmas gift on Christmas Eve open the tin of ten cigarillos and they were all dried out she tried taking the back on Monday December 28th and they said there was nothing they could do for her never again this place sucks order your stuff online read more

This place is fantastic. Great Selection, Giant Humidor and knowledgeable staff really make this experience a fun trip. They are the only place you can buy the Thurman Thomas cigars. The coffee is hot and fresh, the chairs are comfortable and the smoke are good. read more

Gave this place another try. Went back where they had a pig and lamb roast which was delicious. Staff was attentive and checked on the customers regularly. Reasonably priced cigars. Glad the customer service issues where addressed. Was contacted by them on my prior review was offered a gift certificate which I declined. Hopefully this was growing pains and they continue to move ahead and maintain their customer service levels. read more

I truly appreciated the wonderful service I received at Buffalo Cigars. I do not know much about cigars other than several men in my life enjoy them and I wanted to purchase some as a Christmas present. They were very prompt to help me and explain things to me in detail. All of the staff were knowledgable and friendly. The prices were reasonable and they gift wrapped the cigars for me. I also got a chance to spin a prize wheel and walked out with a nice cigar cutter. This shop is a must stop! A great start, outstanding atmosphere, welcoming employee's very helpful but not intrusive. Always a hello when you walk in, I saw two patrons who didn't have a clue and were quiet and intimidated when they walked in, get assistance, were smiling and promised to return when they left with their gifts. Great selection and very reasonable prices, I have shopped at cigar shops around the world. Stopping for a cigar for yourself, having a smoke or buying a gift, this is a terrific place to shop. Not only does Buffalo Cigars have a fantastic selection, and extremely great prices, but it's also a great place to hang out. Always sports on TV, very helpful staff, and you can stay for 10 minutes or 10 hours. I've now been during two of their events, and while there have been large crowds, the place never felt too full, and was just a fun atmosphere. read more

Went here a few days ago to check out the new shop in the area. I think it'll be my first and last time there. I'll list the reasons to make it easier to read. 1. The store was a mess. Not like filthy dirty or anything but, there was stuff everywhere and not organized. 2. The employees were not very friendly or accommodating. At other shops the employees will at least talk to you, ask if you need any help, or just shoot the breeze. The employees at Buffalo Cigars run the register. That's it. 3. The prices. Easily the highest prices in Buffalo. And not by a little. The store may be new and somewhat pretty (if it was picked up) but, you pay for it. Most cigars are at least $2 higher than what you'll pay elsewhere. The high end stuff like Liga and Padron is like $20 higher than anywhere else. My suggestion is to go to this place to smoke an occasional cigar if you're in the area but, make your regular purchases elsewhere. You'll save some serious coin. 4. I was told that the whole store is humidified and that's why they have cigars out in boxes outside of their humidor room. I don't think that's the case. The cigars I purchased were dry. I can't speak about the cigars in their humidor room but, the cigars I bought from the cases along the walls were dry. read more
