They also have belly dancers preform in the lounge at around 11:00 pm, but you have to pay an additional fee if you want to watch the performance. The lounge does not serve alcoholic beverages. Instead, they sell soda, bottled water, and green tea! (tip: they have no diet soda for those self-conscious people). My boyfriend and I got the premium flavor called White Gummy Bear. It was light, not too sweet, and very tasty! We also ordered a hot green tea with 2 sugars. The combination of green tea and gummy bear definitely hit the spot. The total bill came out to be $31 including tax but not tip, which is pretty cheap compared to New York City standards. The whole experience was worth it. This lounge was definitely LIT!

We went with Raymond's recommendation to order 2 cinnamon rolls for the table (we were leary as many places whose claim to fame for having the "best" cinnamon roll, fall short). We also ordered 2 of the multigrain breakfast sandwiches, a smashburger, Brasserie breakfast sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy (highly recommended by Raymond as well). Everything was OUTSTANDING! Phrases like "seriously the combination of this breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the buns is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had." And, the cinnamon rolls!!! Raymond wasn't lying when he said they were the best. All 5 of us agreed that they were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had, and lo and behold then had a conversation about what makes a good cinnamon roll - these check ALL of the boxes. We are still talking today about the great atmosphere, service and drinks/food at this establishment. And yes, there may STILL be talk about the cinnamon rolls. Don't sleep on this place!

I managed to secure a reservation for a Sunday night of their opening week. The wine bar is super cozy on a cold winter night. We drank great glasses of wine, and also got two cheese plates, one cow and one goat cheese, and butter beans. They had gluten free crackers to accompany, so that was great. The cheeses were great and the butter beans really delicious. They offer small plates. This is a good spot for an appetizer, or small dinner, or before theatre, for example. The service was impeccable. I wish they had more traditional wines, though. Some more Italian wines and French wines would be great. Pet nat is not my favorite, but it definitely hits with that hipster vibe they are going for and trying to make wine more accessible to all. The ambiance hits and I would call it 80s chic meets modern warmth. There were candles and dark, moody green walls, and 80s décor to round it out. It is chic. Try it out. Now I'm not somebody who's never been to a fine dining restaurant before I've dined everywhere from LA to Hong Kong. That being said, my wife and I decided to give it another shot last night. When we showed up the hostess was really nice. We were seated really quickly, but we looked at the menu and it was very limited. I had never even heard of 90% of the menu before. So I ordered some steak hache. Which turns out is just like a fatty hamburger, for 40 bucks! Not only was the hamburger undercooked, but it was super fatty and almost slimy. The fries that came with it were also waaaaaa too salty. I ended up eating about 1/10th of my meal and then eating some of my wife's tenderloin. I would honestly give this place a negative review if I could.

Said friend has been a regular for years and took me on a weekend, earlier in the afternoon; we found it quiet and semi-deserted - all the better to make conversation with the amazing lady running things, who was dressed in a colorful matching jumpsuit to shame Lady Gaga. Needless to say I loved her instantly. I genuinely felt like her grandchild within two minutes of sitting down. That is classic southern-style hospitality at its best and the pace of the ordering reflected that - no pressure to rush, eager to answer questions and chat, happy to offer advice on the menu. This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry and that is in no way a bad thing. Pandora's is especially famous for their soul food fish fries - a GIGANTIC platter of fish and sides that would daunt a professional eater. You get to choose between multiple types of fish, done multiple ways. I got catfish with corn meal batter, a hard to find combination in these parts I miss from my youth, and chose the collard greens over the green beans. A variety of other standard sides came with as well - potato salad, mac'n'cheese, corn bread and more. Unlike many places, who seek to cover up the use of cheap ingredients lacking flavor by giving you gigantic portions, every bit of this massive meal tasted like the most fantastic grandmother on the face of the earth spent all day in her kitchen just to make you happy. The flavor profiles, the textures, the absolute joy your stomach sent to your brain - it was like Fish Fry Christmas! I've never had "the itis" (food coma) so bad as this day, or the next when I ate the other half. Absolutely amazing on every level. I've heard they host grown folks dance parties too - i.e. no youngins allowed to break the mood with trouble. Low key bar atmosphere with an older crowd.
