The last reservation this was the case. The only reason I ended up going with them was the Margate location came through. Mauricio called and said they had what I needed. I would have thought that the LHP location would have had it brought over for the inconvenience but they did not. I was told by LHP location that they would credit me for the inconvenience, they have yet to do that. I would highly recommend that, unless you don mind being inconvenienced, give it a shot. I make a reservation for a reason. It's called a plan. LHP has consistently not had the vehicle I've needed that last three times. Shame on me. The staff seems friendly and gave me the impression they wanted to help. I didn't have that experience.

I ended up walking down the street in the hot sun to Hertz, where they welcomed me, honored Apple Pay exactly as advertised, offered me a beautiful car, and required only a reasonable deposit. Make sure you double check your paper work as they write full tank of gas when in fact there is only 1/3 of cars in the tank. They are slow and expect to wait. Might want to take this in consideration for your road trip or plane you need to catch. Customer service, is not correct and they will try to blame you and their system for any errors made. We swiped our credit card for a prepaid reservation. To have him tell us that the credit card did not work. I understand that they need this on file but don't tell us the card did not go through without a decline receipt, without asking for another card, since the other one did not go through. Does not add up. This will be the last time we rent a car at this Avis location.

Pick up was without incident and fast. Service was professional and friendly. I had no issues with the vehicle at all. I returned a day early on a Sunday to avoid having to Uber home on a Monday. Turning in was uneventful. I had the same lady to return the vehicle to as when I picked up and she was friendly and professional. I waited outside for her as she instructed me so she can do a walk around and check the fuel and mileage, which she did and I witnessed. She had me sign the final return invoice and confirmed that everything was good with the SUV. Over a week later I received an email from Sixt claims that there was damage to the front bumper of the car that wasn't documented and I need to answer some questions about it for their claims investigation. Excuse me! Over a week ago and after I've been final invoiced! O no, I looked into it and apparently this has been part of their business model as there's been a class action lawsuit against them and pending litigation. Please be aware this may happen and document everything before the rental and after turning it in. A whole Facebook page is dedicated to this horror story.

The person working the desk was friendly and had good customer service. The process was smooth. I had to charge a deposit but that is customary with a rental. I liked the condition of the vehicle I was driving. I found it clean. The return was just as smooth. I just handed him the keys answered some questions and off I was. I had a good experience. When I arrived, the manager offered me a minivan, which I declined. After the manager left, I asked another employee, Patrick, whether I could take the minivan temporarily and exchange it for a smaller SUV at the airport. Patrick told me that the minivan would be considered an upgrade and that I would be charged an additional fee. He then called a manager to confirm that information. At the same time, I observed a male customer receive a complimentary upgrade. I would like the company to explain why I was told I would have to pay extra for the minivan while waiting to exchange it for the smaller SUV category I had originally reserved, while a male customer was given a free upgrade.
