After having received more than a half dozen quotes from different companies, I ended up selecting Budget Dumpster for my spring cleaning needs, despite another company coming in with a slightly lower price. This is because the email I received from Austin was about as clear-cut as one could as for: a breakdown and summary of the total cost, without any hidden or extra fees; delivery within two days; and a clear description of what could and could not be dumped. Throughout all of our interactions, Austin and Budget Dumpster made the entire process as clear, concise and worry-free as could be, responding within minutes to all of my email inquiries. Every other dumpster company I contacted was uncommunicative, unhelpful, or just plain unpleasant to deal with, save one (Republic), although they priced themselves out of the market, coming in at nearly double the price as Budget. Hilariously, the dumpster was delivered and picked up by Republic, so apparently Budget Dumpster contracts with local recyclers, who shoot themselves in the foot and lose a customer with their outrageous prices. I'm not sure how that business model works out for Republic, but hey, fine by me: I'll just go through Austin and Budget Dumpster again in the future, and let Republic do the dirty work. read more

Had a very good experience with this company. On time delivery and pick up. My two small things I would like to see improved is being given a window for delivery and pick up. And the second thing is the delivery guy had me put two wood blocks down under the wheels when he came. The pickup guy did not remove them and it dug a small trench in my neighbor's yard. We were very happy with the dumpster delivery and pickup. We were doing a major cleaning up of our houses and the dumpster was very helpful. Everyone we talked to was kind and thoughtful. The only reason I didn't give Budget Dumpster 5 stars was because their service window was so large, ie. They would deliver and retrieve the dumpster from 6am-6pm. I know it's hard to predict when the driver will be available to be there, but having such a large window made me feel a bit trapped in my house to make sure I was there when the drivers came. I would give a zero star if I could. This is my second time trying to use Budget Dumpsters. The first time when I used them, they delivered as promised; however, they had issues picking up the dumpster. I was given a date of pick up but the pick up never happened. When I called back, they told me they have no idea when they could send someone out. Eventually, a few days later, someone came to pick up the dumpster. Forward a month or so later, I decided to give them a second chance. I scheduled a dumpster drop off on April 22, 2021, and they were a no show. After contacting them, they rescheduled another drop off on April 23, 2021. To no surprise, again, they were a no show. I contacted them and they scheduled a drop off for April 26, 2021. All day, I waited and called for an ETA. I finally gave up on this company and cancelled their flaky services. It boggles my mind how some people run their business like this. I do not recommend using this company unless you want to be disappointed over and over and over again. read more

WARNING: This is a dumpster broker out of Ohio. They contact local dumpster companies to do the work. Do yourself a favor and find your own local guy. The only thing these guys can guarantee is you'll be charged. They tell you not to call the number on the dumpster or the company who dropped it, only call their toll free Ohio number. They have no control over actual drop off or pickup times. If you call them to find out anything they have to call the actual contracted company to ask your question. Needed a dumpster on a Friday because I'd hired a a crew to do some work. Paid an extra $150 for the urgent delivery and because they had to get someone from farther away to drop it. Dumpster shows up on Saturday and I have to hire another crew to come back and load it with the debris pile. I contact them and they give me a $35 credit. Don't use these guys, call someone else. Skip the middle man and hire a local company on your own and save money and hassle. If they can't guarantee a delivery day they should tell you that up front when you call them and not telling you they just can't guarantee morning delivery. Especially after telling them I need it on Friday and being told that's available for an extra $150. read more

Had an AWFUL AWFUL experience! I would not be giving this unprofessional company star but in order to share my story I had to leave one. Delivery was a day late and it took 8 days to pick up. Standard response was "The is no documentation for why the dumpster was not picked up". or "I am sorry for the inconvenience". Every day I had to call inquiring why this dumpster was not removed. I explained that on July 22 I would no longer hold title to the property. Customer rep said they would contact me when had information from the dispatcher. Not a call back! This dialogue continued for the next 5 days with exception of Sunday. On July 25 I called again and was informed the dumpster would be removed on July 27. Was not removed until July 28. During these days I had people trespassing property to dumpster dive leaving debris outside. Along with evidence that someone tried to break into the house. The best experience of all was when I was told that I was being referred to the "client escalated" manager. You bet I was "escalated"!! read more

My husband specified where he wanted the dumpster and parked his truck in that spot in the driveway to be sure the delivery driver called when he arrived so he could make sure the delivered item was correct. After waiting around all day, no call. The driver left the dumpster on the wrong side of the driveway and chopped up the blacktop on the street in front of our house as an extra nice touch. When my husband called the company, they would only offer to have someone move the dumpster if we paid for it. They agreed to cut the $150 fee in half so we would "only" owe $75. When my husband told me what happened, I tried calling the company and the rep said the drivers are not required to call the customer because it is their own phone. She offered to transfer me to a supervisor and I held for over a half hour but had to disconnect because of a work meeting. I asked my husband to call and cancel the driver coming the next day to move the dumpster since I did not want to pay the additional move fee on principle. Sure enough, at 8 in the morning a driver came to move the dumpster since he had not received word of the cancellation. He shared with us that drivers are supposed to call a half hour before they arrive, which contradicted what the rep had told me. I regret that my husband hired this company without checking Yelp since I notice there are other 1 star reviews for similar poor service. The dumpster seems fine, but due to the poor customer service, we will never use this company again. Just wanted to warn others that if you are dissatisfied it is very difficult to reach a supervisor who can make decisions unless you are retired and have all day to wait on the phone. As a humorous aside, the hold recording when you wait for a supervisor states, "We are currently experiencing a large volume of calls," and my husband and I had the same thought that they must sure get a lot of complaint calls. On the bright side, my husband promised me he would always check Yelp first since the other poor reviews would have warned us to avoid this company. read more

Don't order a dumpster from this company. Per previous reviews, they will be quick to charge you and deliver a dumpster, but just try getting it picked up. Promised a pick up date and no show. I now have a filled dumpster in my driveway that will take them almost 2 weeks to pick up! Unacceptable! And if you try their customer service line you will be in an unending loop of recordings and if a person does answer, they cannot help you and will put you back on hold to start the loop all over again! They appear to have someone in the role of responding to Yelp and Google reviews but each seems to be the same canned response. There is an apology followed by advising customers to email their corporate office. Yet, nothing seems to change the horrible service this company continues to churn out. It would be great to see how they either compensated customers for the bad service OR outlining the processes they are putting into place to fix their issues. read more
