(Great, because that's the only reason I picked this company - was specifically looking for this service.) Actual: arrive at train station, call, call, call, no one answers except the big corporate office who says they can't connect us to this small office. Finally take a cab there with toddler in tow and hear this from the lady who processed the rental: "Pick up? No we don't ever do pick ups here." Car itself was brand new, clean and ran well. Crappy toddler carseat but they always are. Guy was nice enough to help me install it even though he insisted that they don't usually do this. Return at alternate location (for an extra fee, to Logan airport) was smooth, although guy said: "I'm unable to give you a receipt right now. We'll have to email you. 24 hrs later, still no email. I have no idea what we were charged and if it matched the initial price they gave us. Sooo, car was fine but customer service felt like lots of lies and runarounds. We'll look for a different rental service next time.

Last night of vacation, car would not start....called Hertz's emergency road side service - long story short, 4 hours later and no service came! We were hung up on 3 times, waited 4 hours to be abandoned by Hertz! We prepaid our reservation to be told "pre payments can not be refunded" !!!! The best Hertz can do is add 750 points (= 1 day rental) to our account for next time! According to their records "ERS called you back and you did not answer" - we were at their mercy and we aren't going to answer their phone? According to Hertz, they mechanically review all cars before they are put in the lot, yet Hertz's manager tells us "the previous customer did not let us know the problems, so we just washed and buffed the car and put it on the lot"!!!! I think you get the picture of our experience - DO NOT PREPAY, don't count on their emergency roadside service and be prepared to be lied to and end up with absolutely nothing but aggravation from Hertz!

Returned to the attendant who said he could add air to tire but didn't have another vehicle in our class with gas. He didn't believe there was any tire damage. He filled the tire and we were on our way. When exiting the structure we were instructed to use the bar code on the agreement which we did but were still required to pay the parking fee of $20.00 to exit the parking structure where this location, at this point we couldn't back up with cars behind and just paid, requested a receipt to submit for refund and of course the automated machine was out of paper. 24 hours later and tire is once again very low so apparently there was something amiss.

Very easy to find, you just have to pay attention you don't miss your stop to get off when the bus driver announces the next stop. The only drawback is depending on when you arrive, there might be a long line and short staff. There was only one lady there attending to each customer so it took abit longer. They were trying to get people in line to use the car rental kiosks available but people were having trouble using them and it seemed it bit difficult and they would just get back in line. Another staff member finally came to help the other lady who was by herself and helped us out. He was very friendly and kind. It was pretty quick. We just had to go upstairs to get our car. We got a silver Nissan Pathfinder. I believe all cars come with a Toll road box. The person who takes you to your car will tell you how it works. It actually comes in handy in the city and highways here. We thought we weren't going to use it but we needed to especially with the traffic during rush hour. It helped out alot. You just flip it down to use it and flip it up not to use it but they'll go over that with you when picking up your car. We enjoyed having the freedom of having a car to go wherever we wanted to. The car seats comfyness was a 5, they were uncomfortable after long road trips on our backs and bums. The niceness was an 8, the gadgets on the car were a bit complex to figure out but we got the hang of it. We did like that the back seat folded down to put my husbands wheelchair and our belongings, a plus on that! We would use them again. As everything went smoothly when dropping off the car and the pricing. We would use Alamo again if renting anywhere else.

They blocked the parking area entrance with a sign and plastic traffic barriers. Had to move them to park the car in the proper place. 8 AM the next day came and went and still no receipt. Called National on the toll free line. They said the car had been checked in and I'd receive a receipt within an hour. Five hours later still no receipt. Went to the location in person around 2 PM and encountered two women in the booth They claimed they were working on the returns and finally issued a receipt. So glad I did--it was a smooth experience from start to finish! I arrived right when they opened at 8am on a time crunch to make it to a 9:30am job interview- I was a little nervous about timing since I'd heard stories of other customers needing to head to the airport, but nope the location was right at Government Center! Dianne was a breeze to work with--she explained everything clearly, from paying for a toll pass (I brought my own E-Zpass, phew!) to making sure I filled up the gas tank and brought back the receipt, or else I'd face an extra charge. Bill in the garage was friendly and efficient when I picked up and dropped off the car/keys. When I returned the car, Dianne asked how my job interview went and was genuinely sweet and supportive.
