Booked through Expedia along with additional insurance package. Arrived for pick up and was told they would not rent the car to me due to not having an Amex card for the rental. Had a Master card and Visa. Agent said car looked uninsured to him (presented the policy I had bought) and card would need to be able to cover total car replacement. Even if I did have an Amex it wouldn't have a credit line to cover a car, and this wasn't the experience I was looking for after just landing from the US. Thankfully was able to walk down the Enterprise cabin and was met with a warm welcome and was able to drive off with a car. I have rented from them before and should have stuck with a company that I knew and trusted. Budget, you're going to lose business if that is truly your policy. Well done Enterprise, I shall never veer away again! read more
