Upon arrival I was helped by a woman called "Lisa" she must have been the friendliest and most helpfull desk agent I ever met. Thank you !! Advice to Avis; keep her, she should be employee of the month 8-)) On top she was very effiecient and I was out of the airport in no time. Also bringing the car back was no hassle at all. The guy inspecting the car, again, was very nice and very effecient, 5 min tops and I was on my way with all the information I needed. Thank you Avis Birmingham for your brilliant customer service, if only we would ahve the same kind of customer service here in Belgium.

I think that they are really nice people as they helped us with places to visit even though I am from this place they helped my friends with attraction and told alot with free entry and which had offers. They offer more than just a car rental service. When we gave the car back they checked the inside and outside with us to make sure or damages and if we left anything. Really nice as they gave us a voucher for 20 off next time we use them, I think they do this when you rent from them.

The forecourt is full of cars and there is a pressure washing unit in one corner to clean everything that goes in and out. To the right is their reception. This is where you book a car. The staff are helpful as they take a few details from you and add it to their pc's. After this has been done you can almost choose what vehicle you drive away with. Cars are always in great condition and drive really well. Definetaly worth goin to to rent a car.

Great concept but fundamentally flawed…read more The customer service is great... after everything has gone wrong and when they don't want to reply to an email or pick up the helpline, they won't. They're system should be automated but 80% of the hires I've had, I've had to call them after (on their premium rate number) and get them to end the rental because of issues. Once they didn't even pick up in the middle of the day, causing a £30 charge on my account. - I hired a car that was "Dead" on arrival - the reader was turned off. - A car that was reported to be in bad condition inside because someone had thown up in it, was still the same a week later (coincidence I hired the same one again!) When I do speak to someone on the phone they are apologetic and nice and sort it all out. On email they are pathetic, not even reading what has been said. They are very convenient. Though they are not cheap. A 7 minute costs £2.50 and they charge from the second you swipe the card, not when you turn it on. so it's about 75p just to get in and out. Then another couple of £'s calling to sort out the problems. Considering the hassle, I'm not intending to use them much anymore. Unfortunate but it's not worth the stress. Hope others have a better time with them as I stand by the concept and part of the customer service.
