As I was walking out the guy behind the counter let me know the "door was a little funny". Clearly this car had previous damage repaired because while there was no physical damage. The door would stick when opening. I returned the car the next day with their drop off service - no damage done! A month later I am getting calls and letters from their attorney asking for me to pay $1300 in repairs and fees. I have reported this to the Attorney General's office.

Chrysler 200 was very difficult to control heat and air flow as it was on screen. No instructions give at onset of rental. Took me over dive minutes to locate headlight switch I at night. Mileage was poor for a new vehicle it took 6 gallons for approx 150 miles 4 segments to and from Bellingham to Langley B.C. and one small trip to Cascades casino an approx. 10 mile round trip from where i was staying. I don't think the tank was full when i received vehicle. Not sure as i could not figure out how to brink up fuel gauge. Disappointing overall experience. I gave them two stars just because it was a new vehicle. I probably would have had a better experience if i rented a car from rent a wreck. I guess I'm old school. My 2011 Nissan Rogue never looked better!

Pick-Up: I booked on Kayak, but the actual reservation was done through Priceline. So, I had already paid in full when I went to pick up the car. Except for their usual attempt of selling an insurance coverage, they did not try to up sell anything. I had reserved a Toyota Corolla or similar, and I got a Nissan Sentra. It was new (2017) and very clean. Before Driving Off: Because Bellingham Airport is small, there's no attendant on the parking lot. You should carefully examine your car before driving off. They had missed some damages, including touchup paint they'd used to cover up a fairly big scratch. I took pictures of the entire car, went back to the counter, and asked the agent to add the additional damages I found. He told me I didn't have to, but I insisted, and he was fine. Before Drop-Off: You MUST fill up your car before returning it. Their rate is ridiculous: about $10 + tax per gallon. There's an Arco station and a 76 station between the highway exit and the airport (both at the intersection of Airport Dr. and Bennett Dr). Drop-Off: There's no attendant on the parking lot. You log your mileage and the fuel gauge, and return your key to the counter. The agent at the counter WOULD NOT come out to the lot to inspect the car. So, you MUST take pictures of the entire car, including the interior to protect yourself from potential charges for a damage that you did not even cause. A Word of Caution and Advice: At the drop off, the agent asked me if I would like to get my receipt sent to my email. Stupidly, I said yes. They never emailed me the receipt. Since I didn't get any additional charges later on, it worked out ok, but I should have gotten a hard copy receipt before leaving the counter. I think everyone should get a receipt showing a balance of $0 before leaving the counter. Allegiant Air was the cheapest airline I would know, while Canadian airlines would cost more money and the difference was a big deal. Seats were alright not too comfortable. We included add - on just to be safe. There was nothing in the airplane not even a tablet to watch a movie. Water was not free. No free peanuts either. Staff offered ice when I asked for some. I was able to find tap water in Vegas airport before boarding time. Travel time was 2.5 hrs from Bellingham to Vegas. Trip was quick and inexpensive. Besides there was no delay or any troubles ever. It was not the best flight I've taken, but was a pretty good price overall. We paid $694 per person including flight and a hotel this saved us from headaches. Also Allegiant credit card gives points if you travel often via Allegiant Air.
