Jim Adams even made arrangement for me to be dropped off and picked up while the work was being done. I got back and my vehicle was being pulled out of the shop (Talk about perfect timing!). After I did a walk around with Jim Adams and approved the job, I was given a complimentary car wash. When my vehicle was finished, it basically looked brand new. This was my second time using this shop. They did such a great job in 2015 that I had to come back when I needed work done again. Thank you all for doing such great work!

Then another 2 week went by and he said I had to put another chain in my car. I was like okay, whatever, when will the car be ready? He was like; "My mechanic thinks he left a bolt inside the timing cover". needless to say: He tried to bump me $650.00. I drove away and 2 days later I have a P0420 code, which is the code to replace my catalytic converter, which was not there before. I called him and he say bring it in; remember you had that evap code too. I didn't take it back, for his safety, because after inspection; I found that the forward mount bolts were loose enough to just turn off with a ratchet and socket. I bought a new catalytic converter for $500 and will install it myself. Amir will not last because he will cheat the right person to make him famous one day People need to be decent in their dealings with others. I told him how much I hate liars, thieves and deceivers who do so to get money. He don't believe that his actions warrant reaction and no god will come to save him

After making…read moreseveral calls from overseas to a few transmission shops in the Baltimore area, Amir seemed to be the most knowledgeable so I decided to send the car to Harris Auto and Transmission once it arrived to the port in Baltimore. I traveled into Florida to await the arrival of the ship. Once the ship arrived, Amir sent a tow truck to the docks to pick up the vehicle and within 3days a used transmission was installed and the vehicle was ready. I flew in from Florida picked up the vehicle and drove it to Florida and have had no issues at all. Amir was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and courteous. I only wish his shop was here in Florida for any future issues I may have. A 5 star rating for Haris Auto and Transmission.

I found that kind of odd that Mike was able to figure that out within 5 minutes of being there. But my kind hearted wife wanted to go ahead and trust them. So after the work was done we picked the car up and noticed it was leaking and once again this Mike guy told us that it was just run off and that it would stop in a little bit. So we drove to the store and on our way back home the car over heated again, so I opened the hood and what do you know all the coolant had leaked out again. So we took the car back because he said he would check it out and the next day he calls and tells my wife that it is the water pump and that it must have happened within the hour that it took us to get back home. I highly doubt that. Then Mike tells my wife that they don't replace water pumps there because it's to in-depth of a job and refers us to another shop, yeah I don't think so. I'm a very honest person so I'm writing this review in hopes that maybe I can stop at least one person from getting taken advantage of. I'm a firm believer of karma and bad things happen to bad people. Things started off smoothly. Baltimore Body Shop and Service was willing to fix damage to my bumper…read morefrom a minor fender bender. They told me it would take 5 business days. On the fifth business day, I called in the morning to see when my car would be ready for pickup. They told me it would be ready after 12PM. Then, I received an email about the fog light plug at 2PM that day (email attached for review). I thought it was odd since my car had been at their shop for 5 business days and a weekend and this was not noted previously. I refused to get it repaired, and I wanted my car back for the evening. I had to drive to DC that night. After I received my car, I realized that my bright lights did not work and my left turn signal was rapidly clicking. This made me think that something was not right with the car after I picked it up. I scheduled an appointment that evening on the day I got my car back with a different mechanic used by family and friends around the DC area for the following day. It turns out that wires on the driver's side were not reconnected after re-attaching the bumper and harness back on the car. The fog light plug was fine, but the wire to it was cut and needed to respliced for it to be connected again. There were missing bumper clips (see additional bumper clips in the list of materials) that had to be added to the bumper to secure it into place, so my bumper was not even secured to the car after the work had been done to it at the Baltimore Body Shop and Service. There was even a missing bulb from the front of my car! I attached the report from the second mechanic who had to re-plug the wires, reconnect the cut wires, replace bulb, and add the bumper clips to secure the bumper back into place. I had to pay more money to remedy the situation, since it was dangerous to operate my car (bumper could have fallen off; brights did not work; left turn signal was not working - fast clicking sound). If this task cannot be performed well, please do not offer to do it.

The car looks like nothing happened to it. All of the wiring, the fender, the bumper (everything that was removed) was taken off and put back correctly. It is a family run business, and I hope it stays in the family for generations to come. I would highly recommend using them, and I would definitely go back to them in case of any sort of collision work being done on the car.

I sent my wife and daughter both alone to the shop. They didn't try to over sell or provide services that were needed. They communicated well before they did the work so you knew exactly what they were doing and how much it would cost before they started and finished. These last few visits hasn't been that great. This last visit was my last. Took a 2011 vehicle with 150k for a tuneup, transmission flush and to check exhaust and headlights. We had to call them and We were told we needed an O2 sensor, front rotors, rear brakes and something else. Fine. (No price) Had car for 2 days no follow up. We Called on Friday no total provided didn't tell us what was done or not. They finally called back and said what was done with a total of 1k. They didn't do tuneup or transmission flush. The reason I was told that the tuneup couldn't be completed was because I needed rear brakes. The reason they said they couldn't do the flush was because I needed a valve. All of this they could have told me on Thursday since that was the primary reason we brought the car in for. They charged me for a light repair. Front Rotors O2 sensor and an exhaust weld. Disappointing, because I really use to like coming to this place with the exception of these last few years. Unfortunately writing a review and no longer supporting this business is the only way that I can deal with this bad experience, but I'm sure they will be fine without my business.
