Terrible business. Avoid at all costs…read more I had some paint discoloration on my front bumper and passenger side door. This person had me park in a random apartment parking lot where he attempted to complete the work to fix the discoloration. He did not have any professional equipment. He attempted to use a touch-up paint spray can to fix the paint discoloration (as opposed to a spray gun) When he applied the spray paint, it dripped everywhere and was extremely discolored. When I told him that I wasn't happy with the job he said to "just wait" and that the paint would "blend in" as it dried. After an awkward 10 minutes of waiting for the paint to dry, it was evident that the problem would not go away and the discoloration and paint drip that he made from the spray can (which was worse than the original paint discoloration). When I told him that the work was not acceptable, he told me to just "pay for the supplies" and then asked over and over again for $75 (which is what he claims the spray can touch up paint cost). I should emphasize here that the job looked absolutely terrible, worse than It was originally and he asked for the original payment we agreed on, and after I said no he pressured me to just pay for the materials. I told him no and that he had to fix the problem he made on both the front and the side. He attempted to fix both. He removed the paint job he did from both the front and the side door. The front paint fix looked a little better after he struggled to get the paint to not drip and blend in but even the second time he attempted to fix the front the paint still dripped down but the paint blend was better (shown in the pictures of the front). He also attempted to fix the side door which he had damaged with the dripping and discoloured paint. It did not work and (after running out of paint from the spray can he had) he gave up (shown in the pictures of the side door). At this point, he asked again that I pay him what we had agreed on for the job. When I pointed out that the paint job he had completed looked terrible he again told me to "just let it dry" as it would look fine after it dried (the pictures shown are 24 hours after he "completed" the job) When I refused, he got visibly and audibly angry and agitated. I told him that I would not be paying until he fixed it. We then sat in this random car park he had made me come to and argued for 20 minutes about payment. He pulled out every sob story there is. He told me that he had no money to feed his kids, showed me pictures of his kids, had me take a picture of his license, told me that he lived at the apartment blocks (which I later found out he did not), told me that he has no family/friends to help out with money, told me that he had other customers waiting for him, told me that I was the only customer for that day, told me that his kids would starve that night, told me that he had no money to pay his babysitter for the kids, told me that his parents had just died. Also told me that he just drives around all day looking for people to ask to fix their cars and that because he hadn't found any for that day that I was robbing his kids of food. Throughout this whole encounter, he kept telling me that if there was an issue with the job (which there obviously was throughout) then he would come and fix it at no expense. When I eventually called him on his bluff and said that I would go and get food for his kids and drop it off to them he said that he would come back in two days and fix the job and that he would be expecting full payment upon his return in two days. He seems like a nice guy but does not have any of the equipment required to do bodywork and clearly doesn't know what he is doing. He lied to me multiple times and tried to scam me / take advantage of me. Avoid at all costs.

My vehicle was towed there for repairs. I physically went to the shop and looked over the repairs…read morewith the service advisor. I was very blunt and clear on what repairs I wanted done and what repairs I didn't want done. The service advisor told me it's an extremely expensive car and he suggest I repair the plastic pieces on the under carriage of the car. I told him I'm not interested in repairing those pieces and he can go ahead with the additional work needed. After some time I was told the car is ready for me to pick up and once I got there the service advisor told me the wheel bearing need to be replaced as well. I paid for the repairs (in full) that they did and took the car for one day and then dropped it back off the next day. Now they are telling me the repairs are completed and I owe them money for the under carriage pieces! They are telling me they will put the parts in the trunk since I didn't authorize the repair. When I asked them who authorized it they told me my insurance company. The insurance company does not own the car so they have no say on authorizing work to the car. The car has no lien on it, so there is no financial institution that has interest in the car. Insurance cut a check directly to me for the repairs and I have the right pick and choose what I'd like to get repaired. I've asked for someone on the management team to reach out to me via email and it's been about 4 days and I've still yet to hear from anyone. Instead they called MY insurance company and told them that I'm refusing to pay them and I pocketed the money. This was highly unprofessional!!!! I spoke with my insurance company and they told me, once they cut the check to the customer it's their money and they can do whatever with it they please with the cash. This experience with them has been horrible and now I've called RR customer service to involve them. This not my first high end car that has went in for repairs. Never had to deal with nonsense at the Mercedes dealer when I take my Maybach in for repair, never had to deal with nonsense taking in my Quattroporte GTS to Maserati for repairs, no issues at the Bentley dealership with my Flying Spur and even Cadillac has given me better customer service then Rolls Royce motor cars Sterling VA. The level of professionalism is not up to par with Rolls Royce standards. Almost feels like I was profiled. Completely unethical and unprofessional. HORRIBLE!!!!! JUST HORRIBLE!!! At this point I'm thinking of selling the car as they are the only Rolls Royce dealership in town. Who wants to deal with that level of unprofessionalism especially at a high end dealership such as Rolls Royce! Wish I could give NO STARS!!!!! I opted for Craftsman, despite seeing a negative review on Yelp from 2012. I made the right decision. This place did a great job. First of all, Lupita in the front office, contacted us immediately after hearing from Allstate rather than waiting for us to call them...very proactive. She was professional and answered all our questions thoroughly. Once the car arrived (via tow that Allstate arranged separately with another company), we received an email stating the car had arrived and that we'd be hearing the estimate soon. Just hours later, we got a written estimate via email, plus Nick--the adjuster/manager--called on the phone to talk about the damage, the repair, and the timeline. I find it rare these days to find businesses that take such care to proactively communicate with customers, and I really appreciated it. The repairs to the car were all done within a week--and there was extensive damage and repainting required. I cannot tell there was any damage. The car looks great and drives perfectly. They also washed it, which was nice. The charges were very reasonable. I would definitely go back to this business even if it were not for an Allstate-covered repair issue. Highest marks! Oh--there is a sign out front that they are in process of changing the business's name from Craftsman to something else. I can't remember the new name, but for now both are on the sign.
