    We had a clogged garbage disposal drain. Joe arrived an hour after I called and fixed it in half an hour. Reasonable charge of $190.

    First off...I'm not in San Fran...Im in Middleboro, MA. I called in to inquire about septic…read moreservices after this company came highly recommended by a Facebook post I had put up in a town page. When I had called, the person I spoke to WAS nice. The customer service was good. My problem is that when I called, I covered 3 major points as follows... 1) I JUST bought my new house in August 2024. 2) This is precautionary as I don't know when the last time the tank was pumped. 3) I have NEVER in my 45 years lived in or dealt with a septic system. I am completely ignorant on this topic. I was assured I was doing the right thing and we scheduled an appointment. I was EVEN assured that it was better to be safe that sorry. I WILL say this. The gentleman who came out was prompt, he was courteous, and professional. He did a really good job as far as I could tell. Where this falls apart is in the time waiting for the service appointment I discovered that in the town I live in, when a TitleV inspection is done a pump must be done with the inspection. I did mention above that I am admittedly ignorant of these things. Not wanting to just take second hand information, I contacted my town's Health Department which unfortunately couldn't get back to me before my service appointment. When I called to make my payment, the first question I asked was "Does the town of Middleboro require a system to be pumped for the completion of the TitleV certification?" She knew RIGHT away without hesitation; and answered assuredly. I then expressed my disappointment in the situation stating that I feel taken advantage of as a new customer. I told the woman EXACTLY what was covered in my conversation while initially inquiring about services and setting up the appointment. I explicitly talked about ALL three points above with the original woman. There was ZERO effort on their part to take any responsibility whatsoever. Just "It wasn't me" (event though it sounded like the same person I talked to previously). She just kept calling it a miscommunication and when I called to set up the appointment I should have covered these items. I expressed multiple times I did and I felt that as the PROFESSIONALS they should have better guided a new customer, especially having the knowledge I expressed to them. She never even attempted to work with me. No small percentage off. No "just cover the cost of our disposal." Nothing. I told her that I would be leaving a review of this experience where I can, and would never work with them again if this was their stance (placing it all on me). It didn't seem to phase her whatsoever. And that's their prerogative. It wasn't miscommunication. I communicated clearly, they either just didn't listen, or didn't care. But what I will not except is ignorance of the ability to leverage what I said to my benefit, and not theirs. If they had just been honest, and told me to wait because it was just done...I would have 1000% used them BECAUSE of their honestly and they would have gained a customer for life. Now, they have $353 more dollars and I'd never use or recommend them to anyone. I wasn't looking for a free handout. I would not do business with these folks if you have other options. Its nothing personal.
