Hidden gem. Food is good, beer selection is good as well. The tables are a little close together so it's a bit cramped, but not awful.

The food is very good, and most of the time the service is great... depending on who is tending bar. They should consider talking to one of their bartenders about her attitude. She has no business being in the service industry especially when she is giving customers eye rolls and attitude regularly. My wife and I went there for the second time last night. We had had the pizza (which was very good) the first time and decided to try their other offerings last night. This is a great bar and pizza shop, a true hidden gem. It is stuck in a strip mall on route 28, and is owned by the same group as the baldies pizza shop in lakeville. They have smaller pizzas (12"), and alot of the same appetizer options. It is a great spot to grab a pizza and have a beer, because they have a full bar!!! Highly recommend. read more

Average pizza place kind of dinner. The food wasn't bad. They do have a good selection of beer however 4 of the 5 beers we tried to order were "kicked" on a Friday night. The food took about an hour (pub food). Assuming there was some sort of mistake in the kitchen. Waitress apologized but I felt she could have compromised on the bill with appetizer or a drink or something, we did spend quite a bit. All and all I wouldn't be running to go back, maybe I'd give it one more chance if all other restaurants in the area had a long wait. read more

My wife and I tried Buddy's last night. They have many craft beers and an extensive menu of great sounding drinks and pub style food. We both had a draft beer. Mine was a Baxter (I forget the name) and my wife tried the Berkley Beer Smoked Ale. We both enjoyed them. I ordered the Cali Steakhouse burger and let me tell you, it was probably in the top three of the best burgers I've ever had. If you like blue cheese, you should try this burger. It had Swiss cheese, blue cheese, A1 sauce and onion rings on top. As big as it was, I finished it. It came with a mound of crispy seasoned fries. My wife had the fish and chips. It had two decent sized pieces of fried Haddock and a ton of fries. If it were my plate, I'd like a little more fish and a little less fries but she was fine with it and enjoyed it a lot. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job. The place is a little small but it wasn't too crowded. We will definitely be back. There are so many other things on the menu I have to try. read more

This was our first visit and unfortunately the last. We ordered the Daily special Lobster Rangoon along with their Onion Rings. We both are always looking for a Great Clam Chowder that would come close to John Parker's in Yarmouth, Ma. which is too far to travel so we ordered the Clam Chowder with some positive anticipation. The Chowder was "Just OK". A bit heavy on the cream which masked any clam taste but I did find a few pieces of clam and it did have a few small 1/4 inch potatoes pieces but no clam broth taste. I've had worse. The Onion rings came out with the Lobster Ravioli and we both looked at the plates and each other. The waitress walked away quickly so you can guess something was up. The onion rings and lobster rangoon were way over done. We asked the waitress on her next trip if she thought they were overdone and she commented the Onion Rings did look dark. No comment on the lobster Ravioli so we sent the onion rings back and decided to try the lobster..BIG Mistake. They were as hard as a rock to break thru and the Mrs. had to use a knife and fork to break them open. Very disappointed with this experience. read more

I've worked in the restaurant biz half my life and this is the first review I have ever written. This was my third and FINAL time I will go to this place. Went in and sat at the bar and watched the bartender walk in front of us four times without acknowledging we were there. Finally flagged her down for drinks. Waited 10 more minutes and flagged her down for menus. Had to ask one of the waitresses for a specials menu. Ordered an appetizer and two meals. Happened to be sitting in front of the kitchen door and noticed a meal sitting on a kitchen table Not under a heat lamp! My girl and I joked about who's ever meal it was It was gonna be cold. 15 minutes later here comes the appetizer and our meals at the same time. By the way the meal we had been joking about was mine. Obviously there has not been much training of staff. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and appealing, it's too bad the service and management are lacking. Do yourself a favor and go to Harry's or go home and have a cheese sandwich. You'll be much Happier!!!!!!! read more

I went to buddys about 10 times met my wife for lunch and the owner was swearing behind the counter pretty loud ... I thought this was extremely rude and the waitress even came over and apologized I said it was ok 5 minutes went buy he was answering the phone for carry out orders and soon as the the phone was down starting bad mouthing a customer I will never go back because the owners poor attitude ...the pizza was always pretty good and the waitresses seemed nice read more

i order take out here for lunch i would give it a 4 star for the subs! went to the bar the other day with two others. Waited forever for a drink. bartender rude! she seemed like she wanted to chat with the male customers at the bar only. When i asked for my tab she snapped at me stating that they were very busy. I stumbled upon this restaurant last year and I can't count how many times I have returned for take out, sit down lunch, grabbing appetizers while taking in local live music on a Friday and Saturday night with friends. Have been here 5 or 6 times before, the food was fine but tonight the owner came over when we had finished and asked if we wanted a to go and took are half of wrap and left other food on the table and returned with a Togo container without our wrap, when I asked where the wrap was he said I thought that the basket was empty and proceed to go back into the kitchen and fish are wrap out of the trash and bring it back to our table within our view from the table, when I comforted him about this with a few choice words, He stormed off into the kitchen and proceed to throw things in the kitchen, if he thinks I believe he set my sandwich aside when he thought the basket was empty when he walked into the kitchen and it was still there when he returned and to bring it back To our table and say it was just sitting there, god only knows what he would serve you. To even try to tell a customer that this was not the case and be mad at you for being po'd you should be in another line of work. read more
