First off I think I wrote this review already first off we get seated and the girl gave us menus, but it was a few minutes before a server actually came over to wait on us. Then she got us beverages. It was even more time before we got our drinks and then we gave her an appetizer order when the food came out, which wasn't far from we were sitting the food was not very hot. It was like lukewarm or cold we didn't eat it all of it. We ended up taking it home. She never once said to me. Is it something wrong like is everything OK? What can we do for you. At one time she did say I told her I said by the way food was not very hot when we got it if you'd like I can get outta and make a difference. I can give you a dessert or something like that. I'm like whatever but she never come back and offer dessert or anything like that in the end we just put all the boxes and took it home, but I thought of all the times I've gone to this restaurant not this particular one, but this chain. this has got to be like the worst serving of food I've had I really thought maybe they were lacking and maybe staff or something I don't know, but I even said to her the distance you're coming from the kitchen there's like no way, it should've been like cruel to lukewarm. It should've been scalding hot burning my mouth off that type of thing we never had this problem with the temperature of food in the other locations we go to which is North Attleboro or Walpole ma both of them come right out without a problem. Food taught drinks are perfect. People don't come back to the table on time never an issue. Just this one place. We did have a problem with this restaurant once before many years ago when they had refused to honor a coupon we had and let us pay for it with a gift certificate. They said that wasn't allowed so we haven't gone back in many years until this time. But I just felt that maybe they either need to work something on better staffing or maybe the fact that the kitchen staff isn't didn't like ringing to tell the servers that the food's ready in time there was some disconnect there and I'm not sure what it was. I was hesitant to go after reading reviews. But having a birthday coupon I said what the heck! We were very pleasantly surprised. The waitress first off was very pleasant and checked on us several times! Secondly the meal was delicious. We both got the 2 for $25 special. The yum burger was just that...yummy! Applebee's certainly gets far more than a "Bee" rating! This is yet another place that people lambaste and hate on and I wanted to see if it is, in fact, "lambastable" as I went here strictly out of curiosity. It was a "5 Star" for service and cleanliness and the food and drinks were solid, though obviously not gourmet but it had a certain je ne sais quoi, if you will. The host dood was wicked nice and seated me where I liked -not the usual "that station isn't open" BS that you often encounter. My One and I ordered the Cheetos Wings which were off the chain and phun 2 eat and oh-so American. They were freshly made to order and krispy and the Cheetos coating was well engineered (thank you to DuPont/Monsanto). I got a margarita which was well-made and actually tasted like tequila and was properly served in a margarita glass with the shaker and strainer. My One had the Shark Attack which was good, and the waitress even let us know that it is a sweet drink and not very boozy at all and she kindly informed us that they had no more Gummie Sharks but offered to substitute Gummie Brains instead. We ordered the Bourbon Steaks and I got the Bacon Mac for a two-buck upcharge and my One got the Mashed. The steaks were 6 oz and came out sizzlin' wicked hot on them metal platters and heads turned as they appeared. They were cooked medium rare as requested. All very tasty. The waitress was wicked pissah being cheery and attentive AF. She wrote down all orders on paper which is quite atavistic but is highly advantageous to avoid the mistakes that are all too ubiquitous nowadays. This is Applebee's, the price points for burgers and apps are slightly more than the 99. Food is not as good as Chilis, though Applebee's is much better than Friendly's Kids meals are okay. Always seems the waitresses miss us for free refills. Once the food is served and they make the first check in at the table that is it. Loaded nachos were total average. Skimped on ingredients. Today I was very disappointed with my vist.It wasn't busy there was staff walking around not serving, we were taken to a table in the bar area where we were seated. Haven't been to Applebee's in ages and this one definitely didn't disappoint. First thing I noticed was that this location didn't have that weird smell of the one that I usually frequented. Staff was quick and courteous. The fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and a tinge of pepper, crispy yet soft. Got the whiskey bacon burger which was filling. The bacon was perfectly crispy, bread was soft, the onion rings in there were the thin string kind so added another layer of crunch to the burger, and patty was tender. The only slight fault I'd give the burger was the sauce wasn't as evenly spread, very concentrated in the center of the bottom bun so didn't taste it until well into the burger. read more

Not a huge fan lol To me Applebees is glorified microwaved food. Good drinks for a great price though! I suggest going for drinks with friends or for a little pregame. We got appetizers and an entre. So very very disappointed. We have gone get for some time now and enjoyed it. We went for dinner 3 nights ago, we both ordered the 12 oz steak, I ordered mine medium as I have always done. When it arrived it was almost raw so asked that it please be cooked more. My plate was taken and after 15 mins I still didn't have my meal. My husband asked one of the waitresses and she went and got it. Well it looked like it had been cut up all over and it was cold as were my veg and potatoes and it still was not cooked. We went for our Valentine Dinner Date and it was a big flop. We ordered nachos for an appetizer which should have been great according to the picture but copies were Skippy and there was only three slices of jalapeño pepper which should've been loaded with them. Both of our meals we're cold except the salmon that was hot. Everything else on the dish They forgot the heat. The only thing I can say was good was the beer it was a full glass and it was cold. Recently dined at this location with my wife and daughter, partaking of the 2 for $20 deal they have going on. My wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger while I ordered the steak. The waitress offered onions and mushrooms to top the steak, which I agreed to. She stated they would cost a little more, which I said was fine. What I didn't realize is that they would charge for both onions and mushrooms separately, nor did I expect a small amount of onion and about 6 mushroom slices to cost over $3.00. My daughter ordered chicken fingers and asked for onion rings instead of fries. The waitress did not make any mention of an up-charge for the onion rings, but there was. My steak was rather tough, and the vegetables tasted as though they were soaked in chlorine. This was by far, the worst experience I have had at this restaurant. We have eaten at this location dozens of times in the last few years, and it's usually a 4 star experience. Waited longer and once we got it it was room temperature and then we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my daughters broccoli. Nothing was hot, my potatoes were old re-heated potatoes and some of them were cold, my husbands fish was cold. I don't expect this place to remain open. Decided to visit this establishment for dinner with my gf our 3 year old and 17 year old son. Ordered salads and other apps, all apps came out at once rather then the salad coming out first.Took about 15 minutes to get waters and 1 soda never was offered a refill,Manager came over about 45 minutes into our meal to talk football which is awesome until I picked up a chicken finger from my sons plate to find a hair in the breading of the chicken finger conveniently the manager said sorry and walked away right as i showed him. Fabulous friendly attentive waitress. Good food not fabulous. Steak green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Green beans ok perhaps frozen variety. My side salad delicious and fresh. 5+ stars for the salad. The steak and potato standard issue exactly what I expected the mozzarella sticks yummy but the marinara dipping sauce a bit spicy. The waitress from start to finish took excellent care of us. Her name stated with liz but I can't remember the rest. Really the food is 3 stars but the service makes my review a 4 star. I felt welcomed and at home. I was not rushed at all the specials explained with the up charges and everything. Saturday night, and - as soon as our waitress arrived - we were told that only two of the listed beers were available on tap. - Tortilla chips tasted like old oil - $10 Margarita tasted like sour mix with no tequila, or anything other than a splash of juice in sour mix. Second drink - A raspberry iced tea arrived 10 minutes after it was ordered -Shrimp Wonton Stir Fry which claimed to feature veggies only had two 3/4" pieces of broccoli and about 2tbsp of mushrooms. Everything in my meal - except my white rice - but Including my boyfriend's multigrain rice - tasted like a dirty wok. I ate the shrimp and a as much of the plain rice as I could find that didn't taste like the entree. This is the best Applebees in the area. I became a regular here when I worked up the street. It has the typical Applebees food. It's not great food but they cooks do a good job with what they have to work with. The service at this location has been great since they opened. The employees here would give this location five stars alone. The bar staff has stayed pretty steady since it opened. They are all friendly, and seem like the enjoy their job. I don't make it in as often as I used to, but when I do stop by I see the same friendly faces. It's always a pleasure to stop at this Applebees. read more

Food is just ok I always eat in the bar area. I like this place the service and the people that work here make up for the average food.

2 stars as our server was very good and not over bearing. I have to say the food sucked. I got fish and chips and there was 100% no taste to the fish but there was 100% bad taste to the clam chowder. There should only be 100% no taste on fish when you are eating at the Y. The person I was with got a burger took one bite that took 5 mins to chew and said im all set. I asked why she said it was chewy like bubble gum. Thank good I used a gift card to pay. The friend I got the gift cards from is a joker so maybe he ate here and it was a joke. I ate at another apple bees about 2 years ago and it was 4 stars at the least. Will never eat here again.
