Eating fattie blue crabs is one of my fave pastimes. Especially when they were this delish. These delivered on all fronts. Each one was packed, flavorful, and seasoned just enough to enhance, not mask, the natural character of the meat. Crab picking, of course, is never just about eating. It is ritual. It is conversation stretched across paper-covered tables, the rhythm of mallets and knives, and the quiet competition over who can coax out the largest lump intact. It is the kind of meal that slows you down and draws people together, the way it has for generations along the Bay. If ya know ya know Make sure to call ahead. They steam to order. Trays of cooked crabs were streaming from the kitchen to the tables and they were obviously enjoyed by the customers. We ordered from the menu and I ordered the Oyster Po' Boy and my partner had a Crab Cake sandwich. She said her sandwich was tasty and mine was OK though I've had better. Next time I will order a crab dish. The atmosphere was spartan but clean and prices were appropriate. Friendly service but a little slow since the place was busy. I will probably give Ford's another look the next time I'm in Rock Hall.

After talking with the two guys behind the counter, they put together a great spread(with paper included). Overall I had crab, shrimp, corn, and a coke with some other goodies here and there. Crab was fresh and powdered with seasoning, shrimp was steamed amd had a sweet flavor, and the corn was corn although that may be hard to mess up anywhere. I will admit I was new to blue crabs and had one of the guys behind the counter teach me how to eat them, which thankfully they had the hammers and claws to actually eat them. Overall a great experience and will be going again! Just be sure to get an orange slushee for the road!
