I ordered the catfish platter with French fries and a side salad, along with a 32 oz Maryland crab soup. Everything was delicious. The catfish was cooked perfectly, the fries were solid, and the crab soup was full of flavor and packed with crab. The service was also really good. The cashier was patient, let me take my time, and even offered helpful suggestions, which made the experience even better. The inside was clean and comfortable, with several bench-style tables and condiments ready to go. Overall, I had a great experience and I'd definitely come back again.

They definitely weren't as cheap, but the proprietor, "Biscuit" explained that was probably the price for the smaller crabs. The ones here were 7 or 8 inches across (#1s or extra large and very meaty males). We decide to get only a dozen and it took about 20 mins to get them steamed. While we were waiting, my 8 yo asks if he could see the equipment to which Biscuit obliges. He even gives my son a little popsicle from the freezer, which was much appreciated on a hot 90F summer day. He's a grandpa, so maybe that's why he's good with kids. With a nickname like Biscuit and a clean crew cut, I thought for sure he was in the military, but he is/was a firefighter and adopted his the nickname in honor of his dad. Overall, I'm glad we stopped by. The prices might be a bit big for some people, but so are the crabs. Stretch your dollar and save all the crab shells, bits and pieces to make a crab stock. Then use that for your next soup or stew.
