I don't write reviews like this lightly, but a consistent pattern needs to be addressed. Over several recent orders, this location has repeatedly failed to include entire portions of my meals. My most recent experience was a birthday dinner order over $40, and more than half of it was missing. This was not a delivery service issue; it was a straightforward kitchen oversight. A pork sandwich dinner arrived without fries, coleslaw, or barbecue sauce.(on a BBQ SANDWICH!?) Wings had no fries and no ranch. The fudge cake was mostly ice cream and fudge, missing the actual cake. If you can't package a basic meal correctly, then perhaps it's time to reconsider offering delivery or re-evaluate the attention to detail in the kitchen. Accuracy and care are basic expectations. After multiple chances and the same outcome, I will not be ordering from Buddys anymore. read more

Service was terrible. Fries were cold and stale. BBQ was dry and crunchy. Very disappointing.

The serving sizes here are pitiful. You don't get nearly what you pay for. They make it seem like a good deal for Tuesdays and Fridays. But in reality, the 'good deal' just means that your servings are down to hardly anything. I think that 4 bites of potato salad or macaroni and cheese (seriously...this was only about 3 bites) is a good way to lose customers. I may try it again someday, but it will be a long time now. Always liked this place but....last night Sunday April 27,2024 HORRIBLE!! I ordered their Turkey combo with fries. The fries was ICE COLD and the turkey sandwich was a hamburger bun (cold) with 2 thin slices of deli thin turkey (looked liked they went to Ingles and got in the deli (Oscar Meyer) turkey and one piece of tomato and a little piece of lettuce. This is the Buddy's for mornings they have old fashioned breakfasts with bacon, eggs, sausage, and biscuits! It's the same Buddy's you're used to inside and out, but with a smokey breakfast! They have the country decorations inside that you're used to! The staff in the drive thru are really fast and it's easy to get through. read more

Good food. Good price. Sometimes I just stop for 2lbs of bbq to have a bbq nacho bar at home. Quick easy meal. Sometimes the whole feeds 10 pack. Desserts are all good. Service is good. One of the few places fully staffed. read more

I'm giving 1 star because I can't give 0. This is by far, the worst attempt at BBQ in the nation. The sauce was soured, it sat out of the refrigerator for too long. The brisket was like shoe leather, the hush puppies were gooey in the middle, and the sides had zero flavor. When a "restaurant" is attached to a shell gas station, that should be a red flag warning. read more

I bought breakfast for my company this morning. 45 Biscuits. All the people were very nice. The food was great. I usually go for the Pork Tenderloin Biscuit. I got some variety because not everyone likes that where I work. The chicken biscuit is a big hit with everyone I work with. The Pig Biscuit is just pulled pork on a biscuit, but it's very good, though I recommend putting the sauce on the side and adding it yourself when you are ready to eat it. Never ate here before last night. I won't be eating here again. Two sandwich plates with 2 sides each was about twenty dollars. I didn't think it was worth it for the amount of food that we actually got. Buddy's can be a hit or miss. We don't live far from the Emory Rd location. For the last 3 years we have taken our turkey to them to be smoked. Today when we took our turkey there I left pretty mad. The woman who took our turkey was just rude. She seemed aggravated and I felt like taking my turkey home. I told her I wanted it hot when I picked it up. I noticed she had written down cold. She then looked frustrated because I wanted it hot. She tried to talk me out of getting it hot. I've always picked it up hot with no problem. I did leave my turkey but after I pick it up I won't be going back. read more

Fast food BBQ! I have been here every time I've gone down 75 since I was 10. I have never been disappointed. the bbq pork and chicken are amazing the sandwich is the best ever especially w/ a little slaw on it. the beans fries are also awesome. sweet t here is always great. like I said I have always left here happy and full. We have eaten at Buddy's many times but food at this location is very poor quality. The half chicken was very overcooked and dry and the hush puppies were cold and hard. Then, as we were choking our food down, an employee comes over and mops the floor around our table. It made us feel like we were in the way and we needed to hurry up and leave.
