Barbecue is pretty good. This seems like it might be a newer location because I haven't been through here in 2 years. I get the fact that prices are higher due to the covid situation right now. But what is very annoying is that they have fancy computerized menu boards that you can change at a moment's notice yet they don't have the correct prices for the beef dishes. When you get to the register they have a little sign that shows price increases of a couple of bucks for every item. Not cool. read more

Had zero flavor. Absolutely disgusting. Highly regret buying that. idk who the hell keeps them in business. I can feel my stomach literally rejecting it. read more

It's hit rock bottom. Brisket dryer than papyrus from a pyramid, children sized portions, BBQ sauce that tastes like runny soap. Its really expensive for what you get. Quality sucks. Being close to I-75 is likely why its still in business. it REALLY needs new management, fresh food and someone that is prepared to throw old food away. Start using date and time stamps. Avoid at all costs. read more

Absolutely zero concern for over counter customers. If they are backed up with online orders they will close the register for over an hour. The staff is also not held to any type of standard. When the staff is asked anything they just walk away. If you want food from them order it online. read more

Food was hot and delicious staff very courtous and friendly ,place is always very clean and the aroma is heavenly. highly recommend everything on the menu Brisket is som of the Best ive ever had read more

terrible wait every time we come. today we waited over thirty minutes and didn't even get to order. register was only for online orders for them to catch up on. employees did not care about the customers inside the store and were very careless. we left. this is the third time we have experienced this. read more

food is not good . ribs dry and hard they been open for 30 min, Norman is not a bad service rep for the front

Sad this place has such low ratings! Brisket flavor is good but tryna' cut thin slices just dries it out. The potato salad was Slop! And the green beans so drenched in butter the shape did not even hold. Too bad! With small changes: thicker slices, less mayo or whatever is in. Potato salad & butter cut in half. AAALLLLLL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!!! read more

I don't understand how these people say that they're not fast food. They have a drive-thru you walk up to the counter and order your food they give you a styrofoam cup to go get your soda. Food is served on trays you set a little hard ass booth. The brisket is a one out of one to five, beans were bland.. horrible experience read more

The food was good and fresh. Wings were tasty and fries were cooked right. The staff was friendly it was for the most part quiet and felt like home. The manager I think her name was Melissa gave us hushpuppies and checked on all the customers making sure to talk to us like we were more then just a customer. Really felt good to have a manager treat us good. You don't see too many managers actually care about customers feelings but she did compared to past experiences at this location. read more

The worst wings I ever had. Totally inedible - so overcooked and rock hard - they might have even been a day or two old. Shame on them for serving them. The staff shouldn't be allowed to do so. Very disappointed. Just horrible. read more

Great food and service. The restaurant is super nice and clean inside. The price is reasonable as well.

KUDOS and thanks to Norman for providing supreme quality customer service! I decided to order the dinner special $6.99. It was a half BBQ served with hushpuppies, coleslaw and Baked Beans. The BBQ was very super tender and fall off the bone delicious. I particularly liked the housemade BBQ sauce which completely complimented it. It was nice and tangy. The sides were superb. The hushpuppies were freshly made while the baked beans were nice and hot. I especially liked their coleslaw. I also must add you should order the smoked turkey for $42.99 during the holidays. It is definitely a must have! I highly recommend everyone stop by who loves BBQ and stop by and say hi to Norman! read more

Its always a delightful experience at Buddy's Bar B Q.. and this visit was no exception...from the politeness of the staff to every delicious biteful of food.... read more

Drive through is not efficient. It takes about 10min to order your food. Then another 10-15 min to wait for the other cars in line, then another 5 -10 minutes get your order. Buddy's needs a better plan for the drive thru. read more

We love this Buddy's BBQ. Very clean and wonderful staff. Food is always hot and delicious.

We went to Buddy's bar-b-q in Clinton tonight....And it was awful ... We got 1/2 of Chicken and it was cut up was so weird I have never seen that before. It looked like a lot of Kids workers there all the tables and trays was dirty everything was Sticky .We will never go back there again. Someone needs to come in and take over and get this Restaurant back in shape...... read more

Last two family packs of chicken ($43) were poor quality. Chicken is dry, old, and end up throwing most out. This location used to be super but something has changed for the worse. Portion sizes are smaller and quality is not worth the price. Better options close by so pass on this location. read more

The best bbq for the money in the Knoxville area. I've been going here for years. The place is clean service is good. Can't ask for anything more. read more

Average food, horrendous service. Had to wait over 20 min for a hot dog during lunch. Not super busy. Credit card machine was down and bill was $7.49. Gave the cashier $10.50 and I blew his mind. Told me he didn't need the $.50 that I had given him a $10 bill. We have failed our children! read more

Very nice , looks like a new building. Service was good. The fellow that took our order was patient in letting us decide what we wanted from the menu. I had the beef brisket and my wife had the chopped pork sandwich. The pork sandwich was average. Only 2 sauces, 1 sweet and other Hot. Can't recommend the brisket, as it was very fatty and dry with no taste except for the added sauce. The fries that came with the pork sandwich were just ordinary. The cole slaw apparently came from Walmart. If I lived in the area I would give it a second chance. Very few customers there when we arrived, but upon leaving looked like a lot of locals were showing up for Saturday late afternoon meal. read more

The food is actually pretty good, but the service...not so much. My first business, hardly a smile. No one really seemed to know what they were doing and the older folks in the kitchen were barking orders and rolling eyes at the young kids that were training. I get it, sometimes it's distracting, however they're young and they're learning and that attitude doesn't usually help. The BBQ fell off the bone beautifully and the people who made them did really well! The hush puppies were a favorite. The fries were mushy and the green beans were very salty. read more

I absolutely love the lemon meringue pie at Buddy's. It is similar to the old Chick Filet lemon meringue pie but not quite as good. Anyway, tonight I got in line at the drive through in Clinton. There were two cars ahead of me. After waiting about seven minutes with no one moving I decided to skip it. This I regret to say was not the first time this had happened. I once waited ten minutes during a day shift, and no one was even in line but me. So please whoever owns this franchise train your staff better. You could be doing triple the business you are doing now. read more

food was amazing perfectly cooked so amazing. service was excellent Cheam working the counter was so nice and excellent he deserved a raised. beautiful exterior and inside was even better clean tables and floor the bathroom was really clean. read more

Is it really impossible for this location to hire competent help? If so they should do us all a favor and close. Today I encountered a cashier at the drive thru that gave my order to the vehicle in front of me, they took their time going through the bag, determined it was not theirs and gave it back to the cashier. The cashier could not begin to comprehend why I didn't want food that someone else had opened. Do yourself a favor and pass on Buddy's at Clinton. read more

Bought my last meal there today. Our last three purchases there have been significantly wrong. Today we ordered 2 pork dinners with bbq beans, potato salad, and hush puppies. The containers were splashed with sauce, slaw remnants, and green bean juice and pieces of green beans. No hush puppies. A container of ice cream we neither ordered nor wanted. No sauce on the side. It honestly looked like they had reused the containers. My potato salad was hot and swimming in green been juice! I threw the food out. It was disgusting. By the way, we were the only car in the drive-thru lane. read more

The food was okay but the service was terrible the people working on the register had no clue what they was doing and kept messing up orders and they was all cussing at each other they should just close down the store that would be great and put something else in read more
