Very professional family owned business. I went in for a squealing sound coming from under my hood…read more I thought it may have something to do with my serpentine belt. The son, who runs the mechanic side looked it over. And before he did any work he took me into the garage and showed me what exactly was wrong. It was the pulleys to the serpentine belt. He gave me the price and upon pick up the price remained the same. Also the turn around rate was so quick. Every other time I have been to a mechanic for repairs they always call with something else that "has" to be repaired immediately. Thus equating to more money. Highly recommended George's.

I'm filing a lawsuit against these hacks. I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB and the WTO…read more They completely lied about my car being safe to drive and put me in a dangerous situation on the road. A real mechanic at a different shop got my car back the way it should be. My dash camera caught Dave driving my car at 65 in a 45 mph zone on Rockport Rd trying to simulate highway speeds on residential roads. This is a very unprofessional business. They charged me $140 for work they did not do, (thinking I don't know to check their work) and $700 for a throttle body replacement that Brian did wrong. They ignored the suspension issues that I brought it in for and told me everything was fine, when it was far from fine. My dash camera caught them saying how they didn't want to mess with repairing my car because it's older and it was cold outside. Linda contacted me asking for me to remove my post and offering some money back. I told her this wasn't just about the money, and that they put dangerous vehicles on the roads my friends and family drive on. I told her she owes her customers better and gave her an opportunity to change her ethics, but her pride wouldn't let her. She lied to Google and had my post warning other people taken down. I'll post all the evidence of this shops fraud online after my lawsuit is completed. I don't recommend any shop in Hackettstown after living here for 35 years.
