He also spent time in person (with proper COVID protocol) going over our insurance claim with both my husband and I to make sure we fully understood the charges and how everything needed to be paid including what our portion would be and why. He provided visual samples of our color choices and scheduled us quickly for the job itself. The crew was efficient and left everything clean and tidy including making sure all nails were picked up (we have a 2 yr old) so this was really awesome to me. The finished roof looks so good and they were able to fix several leaks that we had no idea were even there. For local good business and great customer service, go with Carrington.

They did a good job, in a timely manner. The problem was a leak into the garage several months later. I called Carrington, and someone came out and looked at the roof. After that, nothing. My calls were not returned, and emails ignored. In the end I went to another roofing company; they looked at the roof explained that the builder should have fitted flashing, but didn't and fixed the problem. I had heard good things about Eric and Horizon Construction so I asked him to come and provide a bid. He arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) and got right to work! He inspected the roof and not only gave us a bid, but valuable information on what to put in the contract in case the seller went with a different contractor. Eric is extremely knowledgable and glad to share his knowledge, in his quiet and unassuming manner. Unfortunately, the seller of the house opted for a contractor he has used in the past. When the roof was on, we had Eric come inspect it and he found some issues with the job done by the other contractor (things like rotten plywood under new shingles, cheap seals that only last 5-8 years in the TX sun, old and frozen vents that weren't removed that will allow rain into the attic, etc). He worked up a full report for us showing the problems and saved us a lot of money in the process. He's very focused on providing quality work and being fair and reasonable in his pricing. From our interactions, I can tell he loves what he does and has a passion for it - something that makes him great at it! I trust Eric and his company and wouldn't hesitate to send my friends and family to him.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my family, and we just want to express how satisfied and…read moregrateful we are for the work that's been done in our home. We initially reached out to GIS because my engagement party was being held at my family's home, and we needed the interior repainted. We also decided to replace the outlets for a fresher look. Tony and Mark were the ones who came out to get everything started, and the inside looks absolutely beautiful now! After the party, we decided to take things a step further and have the wood flooring in our living room replaced to match the rest of the house. Once again, Tony, Mark, and their team were incredible, fast, detail-oriented, and so professional. The attention to detail during both the removal and installation of the flooring really stood out. During that project, my grandmother mentioned a few floorboards in her bedroom that had started to buckle. When Mark came to inspect, he discovered moisture beneath the boards and immediately walked us through all possible scenarios. Together with Tony, he helped us find a solution and identified that the issue came from a window that hadn't been properly sealed, allowing water to leak inside. While that was unexpected, we were so thankful for their honesty and transparency throughout the process. Once the window, wall, and flooring were repaired, her room has never looked better! We also had the inside and outside of our fireplace redone, which looks amazing, along with refreshed caulking in both bathrooms that really gave the spaces a clean, updated look. Every project completed by Tony, Mark, and the rest of the GIS team has been superb. They're incredibly communicative, always keeping us updated on progress, timelines, and next steps. They've been patient in answering every question, quick to send detailed proposals for new projects, and most importantly, consistent in delivering quality, beautiful work. We honestly couldn't recommend them enough!

Contractors & Small Businesses -- Read This Before Working With GIS Contracting LLC…read more My HVAC company was subcontracted by GIS Contracting LLC, owned by Tony Gomez, to do the mechanical work at the Williamson County Bagel Shop. Repeated invoices, calls, and emails have been ignored thill this day 08/14/25. This is not just bad business -- it's a breach of trust that hurts local contractors who show up, do the work, and expect to be paid what was promised.
