It was slightly dry & crisp but I liked the flaky bits and the fact that each bite had a little bit of pistachio and chocolate. The Pain Chocolate Banane was my absolute favorite! It's a classic Pain au Chocolate cooked with pieces of fresh organic banana. I'm still dreaming about it. If you see this on display, do yourself a favor and grab one! It took a regular Pain au Chocolat and made it exponentially better! It was flaky, sweet, buttery, and everything a pastry should be. The Chausson a la Pomme Fraiche was also a great try. It is half a fresh apple cooked in a puff pastry turnover.
